Ranger Epic Faction
So, I go to Burning woods and talk to Telin Darkforest. He tells me that I have to prove myself first before we discuss matters further. What factions did I mess up or did not work enough? I have never heard of this from anyone. Please help!

What lvl are you hun? I'm a 46 druid and tried talking with him as well. I then read that you have to be over lvl 51 to speak with Telin. I was hoping to start my epic, but alas I must wait for another 5 lvl. Good Luck hun.

Something boggles me...
First off, to get your faction up with Telin, turn in muffins to the dwarf in the inn in West Freeport...Anyways...
I was talking to my 45 ranger friend, who talked to Telin at level 36...He's done most of the turn ins including the part in East Karana...Killing that corruptor? Forgot~ :P
I'm level 45 and have him regarding me as an ally, and he still won't give me the note. A few feet away from Telin I saw a 50 ranger with his swiftwind. I asked him when he first talked to Telin.. He said 46. wtf!? :P
Is it just randomized by player, or something!?! .../boggle!
Nowhere on any site does it explain this. I tried petitioning but those bastards never reply back, hehe!

old thread, lol, but I talked to him at around 46, 47
I hunted orcs until my faction with a couple types of orcs could get no worse, never killed a faerie, hunted pixies and wolves in GFay, but never did bears and wolves in the Karanas or other places. Don't know if these made a difference or not *shrug*

i had this same problem a week or so ago, go to WFP and turn in something like 3000 muffins lol, when the dorf cons ally to you, you should be good, you have to be lvl 50 to start the quest.

<---- never killed more than maybe a handful of crushbone orcs, and never did muffin quest in freeport, and Telin liked me just fine Might have to do with diety, im Tunare, karana might be different.

I do believe you have to be at least 50 or 51 now. This was not always the case. I do not recall when exactly the change was done, but am almost certain that it is now level required to start. I helped my girlfriend's druid comlete her epic, and she never once killed a single crushbone orc or turned in any muffins. We started her epic when she hit 51 (though we had several pieces done and in the bank before hand) and finished it at 52. The only faction fixing we had to do for her was kill a TRUCK LOAD of gnolls and do all the lowbie faction quests in SFG to get the subquest of the painting done because she killed Holly Windstalker not once... but THREE times! /sigh Guess who did all the footwork of those lowbie quests and the hours of AEing Blackburrow?! heh

started mine at 46
I started my epic at 46 and got to where i just needed a jade reaver then stopped workin on it till i got a reaver in the bazaar for 6k but you should be able to start at 46

i started mine at 46..and coned ally...i heard you have to be at lest lvl 50 to do final turn in for the swifty and earthcaller tho..not sure on this have to kill jaeil and get the SEoC first
Might have to do with diety, im Tunare, karana might be different.
