Rasiel/Ciana Ramius
Name: Rasiel
Alias on Earth: "Rasi Avidan"
Age: Unknown/Appears about 27

Grade: (Poses as) Graduate Student

Appearance:
On Earth, Rasi can take on many disguises and alter his appearance to at will. However, his favorite body to shape: mysterious, tall and long-haired with a distinctly feminine face. Eyes are hypnotic gold color that appears to stare into the soul and hair a fair silver blue. His skin is fair and unimaginably soft. People who meet him are both entranced and fearful at him. Even more mysterious is Rasi's gender; while his angelic state is sexless, in disguise he can appear as male or female depending on the situation. He tends to wear almost a military style jacket and dark pants with black boots. As an angel he wears gray robes with silver fibers that seem to swirl as liquid could and his aura is as golden as his eyes. His wings appear only as his angelic form in sky blue and he often carries a golden scepter with a blessed blade hidden inside. He prefers not to be his angelic self on earth, for he feels the humans are too impure to look upon his true form.

Personality:
Rasi is very meticulous and clean, he likes to keep everything in a certain order, border lining on obsessive-compulsive at times. Books must be this way, files must be set this way, no sneezing unless there's a tissue in hand: a few of the many rules he has to keep in order and he throws a hell of an overly-dramatic fit if something is out of place. He prides himself on being the Virtue class of angels, the angels that have the privilege to be the source of all miracles on Earth. Unfortunately this privilege not only feeds idealistic beliefs about his existence, but also inflates his ego to no end. He believes the angels (or himself) are God's superior creatures, humans are simply sin-ridden creatures that don't deserve the light of God (but why does he favor them so?), and demons are the lowest of the life forms. Though he thinks so low of humans, he's not about to question God's spotted miracles for the few faithful ones

Weapon
A golden scepter with a blade of light hidden within. It materializes as he pleases but it's a rare case when he does decide to use this.

Special Power:
Transeo - a basic power that every angel usually has, this allows the angel to pass between the realms of Heaven and Earth. It also serves as a way to teleport to differet places at once while on Earth. Rasi, being the narcissist that he is, prefers to travel through mirrors (or lakes, anything that gives reflections).

Fatima - Rasi can manipulate people's memories, altering it for a short amount of time. He can induce false memories and alter them to be nightmarish or pleasent if he pleases. he could make himself appear as if one has met him before, convinient for his travels on Earth. After it wears off, the person would not remember anything happening to them and their memories would be intact. The reason he usues this power for such a short time is that (since he's in the human world) prolonged use would disrupt his own mind and cause him to temporarily become insane.

Ascendere - Rasi is able to bring people's souls into an astral plain. Usually it's to guide a person without interference from other spiritual beings. However, it makes a great place to battle without an interference as well. If he is on earth, his limit is two souls, if he is in his angelic state, it is not known how many souls he can bring to the astral plane.

Contega Fracta - Rasi conjures an angelic seal, a light surrounds his body that absorbs physical attacks and reduces energy and magic attacks. It's not his body who takes this punishment but an aura-like sheild of magic glass; once it absorbs enough, the sheild shatters and the shards attacks back to the opponent(s). There is a danger to himself as well: the glass shards can also cause damage to him.
Another tactic is that he uses: he is also able to encase an opponent in the glass sheild seal where they will be unable to move. Instead of the glass shattering outward, it can shatter inward and injuring the captive opponent.

History:
Angels has existed since the beginning of creation, since humans first began to write, to tell stories about the winged beings that would comfort their dreams. The names for these winged beings differed across many cultures, but the truth is that they have always existed, watching over all of God's creation. Rasiel himself doesn't really remember how he was born, or when God placed him as a Dominion but he never needed to question it: all that mattered was that he was in the light of God's love. Most of the time in Heaven's City (Caelestis), he could be seen with Ianael, a fellow dominion (and Second in Command to the head Dominion Zadkiel) and the Archangel Gabriel, exchanging long conversations about whatever came to mind. He saw the evolution of the creatures that would become humans, participated in the Battle of Heaven against Lucifer and the angels that took his side, and watched his downfall. Probably it was then that Rasiel began to wonder...God had infinite patience for the humans, yet one of the most beautiful angels, Lucifer had tried God's authority and he had been banished into what world be known as Hell to the humans. Ah, but Rasiel simply ignored those thoughts, God's love was everything and eternal.

He maintained a stable friendship with Gabriel and Ianael, he loved both of them almost as much as he loved God. So one should wonder if this had played a part in the fall of Ianael's grace. The modern age for the humans (silly humans, they have no idea what "modern" is) came and the angels watched wars and scandals unfold on Earth. It was just as if they were watching a television show, entertaining but forgettable. It was sometime then that Ianael had began to pay particular attention to a certain young woman. He told Rasiel that she must've been one of their own, trapped on earth for some strange reason. Ianael began to become more drawn to the vixen every passing day, he would ask Rasiel to take over his duties for a moment just to watch her. The woman lived a perilous life, one that Rasiel was sure that would grant her a line in Hell and he would never have to hear Ianael's incessant chatter about her again. Gabriel, so gentle and calm, warned Ianael that what he was doing would anger their loving Lord...
One day, Ianael quickly transcended out of Heaven and didn't return for a long while. Rasiel and Gabriel, not wanting him to be in trouble, searched for him on Earth and found that he had rescued the woman from certain death and had stayed by her side in the hospital until she recovered. During a year in earthly time, Ianael would pop into heaven so that he would not arouse suspicions. One day of significance happened, he begged for Rasiel's help: he had a child with the woman and she was just on the cusp of birth. However, the child would be a nephilim (oh dear...that's a heavy offense) and she would

sprout wings unless they could do seal her just as she was born. This was very dangerous, the humans, an angel or even a demon could try to kill her. Rasiel loved Ianael, of course he would help, even if it would mean risking punishment. So they managed to alter time for just a moment, enough time for Rasiel to cut a mark into the baby girl's lower back a cross, sealing it and healing it to be nothing more than a birthmark using forbidden angelic magic. Ianael thanked Rasiel deeply and would vanish again for another year, using the same forbidden magic of the angels to cloak both of them from the eyes of Heaven.

It took an entire year for Gabriel and Rasiel to track him down. During this search and spending a little time in Earth's realm, Rasiel became so sure that humans were nothing but sinful creatures, luring innocent angels astray, bringing war and suffering, thriving off the suffering of others. The seven deadly sins all manifested on Earth, how could God have infinite patience for his lesser creations? The thoughts became more and more prevalent, but he had no answers.

When they found their friend again, he was married to the woman, Ciana Ramius and the small daughter (no more than a year old) seeming as human as she could be. The child did have a distinct aura, lovely yet if one would reach out to touch her, it would probably turn into an aura of thorns. Initially, Rasiel had intended to kill Ciana and the child, but Gabriel's presence calmed his desire for death. The two warned him that God would know that he was missing and tried to get him to return to heaven. It would also mean certain doom for his wife and daughter. To Rasiel's dismay, Ian wanted no such thing, instead he wanted to stay and protect his new family. That desire became his downfall and two years will pass before Ianael's existence would be erased from both Earth and from Heaven. Because Rasiel had helped Ianael in the birth of a Nephilim, his punishment was demoted from Dominion to being a mere Virtue, a role that he both despises and loves. Not even Rasiel knew what had happened to Ianael, but he places the sole blame of his fall from grace on Ciana and her half-blood daughter, Amber.

Five Nephilim of the angels exist on earth, Amber recorded as being the youngest. Rasiel tried to keep tabs on his little niece, but it was still difficult. Ian (that fool) may have taught Ciana a magic of the angels to keep them well-cloaked on earth. Rasiel used his charms to have some of the Grigori search for her once in a while as well but had little luck.
Then it happened: One of the orders from the Dominions and the Archangels were that there will be a time when another great battle will take place, and that these nephilim were key trump cards in winning this battle against Lucifer and his dark angels. The orders were simple: hunt down these nephilim and "coerce" them through any means necessary to join the side of Heaven...or kill them. The order brought a grin to Rasiel's face...

Name: Ciana Ramius
Age: 37
Grade: None
Occupation: "Mercenary"

Appearance:
Anyone who looks at Ciana would see where her daughter Amber inherited her hair and her looks from: bright blond hair that she keeps loose or tied loose, sapphire blue eyes that can switch from being gentle to sharp depending on her mood and a fit body for one her age (so many years in the CIA can have that effect on a woman). There is a scar on the side of her stomach from a botched assasination plan, and she's actually quite proud to show it off at the most inappropriate times as it carries one of her more beloved memories. She likes to wear comfortable clothes, a normal t-shirt and a pair of jeans works fine for her. On occasion she would wear dresses or clothes that would show off her figure, but she prefers not to do so especially around company. She also seems to like leather "garments", but that's her coy little secret.

Personality:
For someone who had been in the CIA, or had lived the abnormal life she had, Ciana is actually a bubbly and lively young woman. She tries not to let things bother her, and there's always a bright smile on her face (even when she mentions as being an ex-Sniper, she loves seeing people's reactions). She's an emotionally open person, whether she's angry of just joking, it shows. She picks up habits from others, especially Ria's hyperativity and "super-hugs". Sometimes she comes off as an "air-head" to people who don't know her, but once they get to know her, people find that she's a very loving, doting mother and still suffers from the loss of her beloved husband (but she's too stubborn to show it). She values her daughter Amber more than her own life and goes to extreme lengths to protect her from harm. At the same time, she wishes Amber was a little more open to people, she always tried to teach her that a life was a gift from God, something that shouldn't be spent on little worries but to live it to the best one can. She knows of her daughter's dangerous blood, but it doesn't mean she loves her any less.
And that doesn't mean that she won't have an entire evaluation and investigation on the friends Amber makes (God forbid if she ever gets a boyfriend...), just to make sure they are and will be good friends to her. In that respect, she's just like any other mother.

Special Power:
None. She's just a normal human...unless you count weilding any type of gun and maybe daggers a power.

History:
Not many would know it but Ciana had a rollercoaster of a life. She was born Ciana Bianchetti in Northern Italy but she can recall very little of her early years there. She was the youngest of three children, two elder brothers, Marco and Paolo. Her mother was a very passive woman, a gentle woman from France but her father was a bitter man prone to drinking and shouting, mostly about work and his own father. Ciana never got along with her parents but she and her brothers had a close relationship with each other, often protecting and comforting each other when her father would come home and beat the entire family in a drunken rage. There would be nights when they feared it would be the last, and her elder brother Marco even taught Ciana how to fight back if her life was in mortal danger. Knives, even a gun if it was in reach. Marco would be the one person who taught her to stand up for herself when in danger. One night, Marco had enough and ran away to the states with his siblings.
Ciana and her siblings found family to stay with and worked to keep afloat. When she was in high school, her younger brother was killed in a car accident, a devastating loss for her and her older brother. Possibly this had attributed to the distance between the two of them. Either way, the two lost contact with one another when Ciana attended college in Georgia.
If someone were to ask her: “Why did you join the CIA?”, Ciana would honestly not remember her reasons why or even when she did so. Maybe it was the thrill of killing the “bad guys” from a rooftop, pulling off dangerous and secretive missions in places far from home. Every day was a thrill, every day she believed was doing a good thing for another person. Honestly, she doesn't remember much before Ian Ramius walked into her life.
An undercover operation went horribly wrong in Russia, she was shot three times in the chest and left for dead in the snow. Next thing she remembered, an angel of a man appeared out of nowhere, spoke gently in her ear that she would be all right and right then, Ciana passed out. When she awakened, she was in a hospital with the same dark-haired man. She had been out for a week and the man who had rescued her stayed by her side. The young man introduced himself as Ian Ramius.
As the story goes, it had to be a match made in Heaven. The two quickly fell in love and within a year, they were married. Ciana was puzzled by a few things about Ian, such the abscense of his family and why strange things happen around them (strikes of bad luck, strange people following them, floating eyeballs, etc). It was only after she became pregnant that he revealed that he was an angel. A literal angel, he revealed his true form to her and her alone; the both of them would be in deep trouble with Heaven, heavy prices on their souls. Ian had no intention of returning to Heaven and Ciana made it clear she had no intention to leave him. Ian taught her basic angelic (forbidden) magic, the best way to ward off the eyes of heaven, and escaped together in the earthly realm.
Trouble started however when Ciana gave birth to Amber. She was not sure what had happened or even how, but her daughter had cuts on the small of the back, however Amber had not cried at all. She knew that the nephilim were supposed to have wings but...maybe Amber was saved. She never knew of the swift work Rasiel and Ian had done to save her daughter's existence.
Ciana absolutely adored Amber, even when knowing that she gave birth to a dangerous being. Most mothers of children born under strange circumstances would either reject them entirely or over-protect them even at the cost of their own lives. She was the latter of course, constantly watching her daughter and going into hiding from Heaven's eye. Ian had even taught her the forbidden magic of the angels, a major way to protect them from both Heaven and Hell. The constant moving took a toll on both Ciana and Ian's health, but the presence of their daughter seemed to be the perfect panacea for them.

Then came fateful meetings: first the appearance of Rasi and Isha Avidan, Ian's (oddly enough) Hindu brother and his wife. While Ian and Rasi had their argument, Isha revealed to Ciana they were both actually angels sent to bring back Ian and to kill mother and daughter. One look at the then one-year old Amber and Isha lost the heart to kill either of them. The family was spared...this time.

The next time they were not as lucky. All angels are linked to God and are able to be summoned back up to Heaven through a way known as "the calling"; the higher on the heirachy an angel was, the tougher it is to resist God's call. Her husband had abstained from returning for more than two years at the expense of his health. Finally he could no longer fight the calling, he had promised his daughter of his eventual return and faced his wife. Ciana tearfully begged for him to stay, not wanting to lose the one man she loved so dearly. He would disappear into the winter's night, just on the cusp of spring's return.

Left with Amber, Ciana took it upon herself to do everything possible to protect Amber, just as she and Ian both had. The two traveled to many places, meeting her may contacts from her dangeous working days and all the while keeping with the ritualistic magic to protect Amber and her volentarily adopted daughter Ria. As Amber began to realize that she truly was different, Ciana would cheerfully clue her in to what she knew from the many conversations with Ian. For a person who went through the strange things that they did, Ciana takes anything strange that happens in cheerful stride. Demons, angels, doppelgangers, grigori; name it, she knew it.

This is why she enrolled Amber to MHS and she had introduced Yakoutio and Vash to her, she couldn't be surprised at all. She had researched the school well enough and hoped that Amber could seek out a little bit of happiness, even with an eventual, sad fate looming over their little family.
