(Hope this is okay. Didn't say closed or open, so I am guessing)
Having not been seen a lot himself, Merciah has not been able to return his sleep schedule to fit a regular day. Merciah wouldn't have noticed that Rayd has been an irregular sight on campus recently, as he himself has been the same.
Entering quietly, Merciah sets his towel folded on the side of the spring as he enters the water. Not much for scars visible compared to Rayd, but there is one large scar that follows the length of his back. At closer inspection it seems to be a large burn as though a large metal beam seered his skin.
Letting himself relax he noticed Rayd in the locker rooms as he undressed, but didn't say anything as they were on opposite sides of the room. Now comfortably in the water Merciah decides to see if Rayd might know much about the campus fromt he past few months, of which his knowledge of is very limited, his not being here.
"Evening Rayd. It has been a while since we last spoke." Merciah begins in a neutral tone.
This is where I put more of my random thoughts. :)
Has everyone heard, there have been attacks in the forest. More and more students are showing up in Mrs Hanabishi's ward by the day. What's going on. It's the talk of the school.
