Red Eye of the Storm! (Granom/Invite only!)
Plod! Plod! Plod!

The chattering of the student in the halls was slowly being silenced as a wave of terror hit each one. Their faces were frozen in an expression of sheer horror when their heads slowly turned to face a single boy. His jacket fluttered with each slow step, his countenance emitting the bloody catastrophy that was about to take place. His eyes were hidden, but their red glow hinted a brooding manner, narrowed to slits as they focused on what was ahead: the cafeteria!

Plod! Plod! Plod!

So the rumours were true? It realisation was written on every face he passed like the students could read his soul. Vash had was now privy to some conduct he was not particularly pleased with and it showed! The boy, normally an anger managment problem personified, was now pure concentrated rage, narrowing in on his outlet. whispers echoed once the sudents regained enough nerve to begin talking amongst themselves once more, the topic of conversation now switching to the dunpeal marching slowly down the hallway. It was a grim and peculiar sight that led to only one outcome...

Not being able to contain his rage any longer, Vash quickly shot out his arm to the side, his claws tearing into the lockers against the wall. The metal bended with ease under the strength of the dunpeal, tearing it like a can opener. He then kept walking, his claws making a long slash mark as he traveled towards the cafeteria doors. The wake of destruction had begun and the person he was after would know it. He wanted him to know, wanted him to fear the inevitablility of the hunter catching him, wanted him to feel the strife he had caused to his dear Amber all those times he had spoken to her, stalked her, touched her! The thought was maddening and it only fueled Vash's need to see blood split today. One word was all it took, and the students of Manga High were drawn in to see the events unfold. One word that would call forth the memorable yet sickening event that would be the main gossip for any student. One word that Vash would scream at the top of his lungs, letting it echo through the halls and the ever busy cafeteria to announce the coming onslaught...

"DAEDELUS!!!"

"Allright, got ma apples, oranges... honey bunches of oats... milk... shit what else."

He places his right hand on his head. Thinking about what else he wanted. This would take a while, because he had not eaten anything since the flight back over from Asia. He looked around intently searching for a fork, for the pancakes he would plop on his tray.

A couple of students were getting kinda rowdy as he was locked in a mortal battle between the choice for apple juice or orange juice. The whispers got louder to the point of a small roar. Until they were dropping their trays and standing still.

Getting fed up with the racket they were creating X-oshi had placed his tray on the rails. His fist was shaking, and his body trembling with anger. His eyes seemed kinda dark when he was about to turn around and tear into the boys and girls that were behind him.

Suddenly as if all time had slowed to a a crawl, but yet it happened so freaking fast, it was hard to recall what really happened.

The sounds of twisted metal could be heard. Not the game but real twisting metal and more whispers.

Quote:
"DAEDELUS!!!"

Then one rage filled yell came from just outside the doors of the cafeteria. X-oshi looked to the doors, wondering what the hell was going on. He released his fist and leapt over the rail that was infront of the food line. And proceeded towards the wall of the door.

Ryoko was sitting in the back corner eating. There was no one in the Cafeteria that she recognised, so she decided she'd eat alone. Well, she didn't actually bother looking, she was too tired. She was nearly caught stealing from the museum last night, and she spent most of the night escaping from the police. Ryoko yawned, before finishing off the last of her food. She picked up a bottle of milk and twisted the lid off. She was about to drink it when she heard someone yell.

"DAEDELUS!!!"

" Wha...?" Ryoko asked, looking around. She put the lid back on her milk and stood up. What did Daedelus do now? She had been the only one nice to him really, especially with what happened in the garden, and now another person was mad at him? Ryoko walked over to the door, trying to figure out yelled his name. She was a bit concerned for him, whoever yelled sounded pissed off.

Ayeka stormed into the cafeteria a look of pure anger across her face. She had just been to her room where she had heard from Micheal, one of her resident trees that Ryoko had been snooping in her side of the room again. Normally Ayeka wouldn't have minded but this time she thought some of her money had gone missing. She raced down the corridors moving as fast as she could until she finally reached the cafeteria.

At first she couldn't see Ryoko, but she saw that disgusting drow Daedelus that tried to fight her in the garden of silver light. Her blood boiled whenever you thought of him, first he had the nerve to grab her wrist and then he had drawn his sword on her. Ayeka only wished she was strong enough to really knock some sense into him however, she instead remembered how rewarding it had felt to slap him and she felt better.

Suddenly she spotted her, Ryoko was sitting in the very back corner of the cafeteria. Ayeka picked up her pace, cutting between the tables and students until she reached the table Ryoko was sitting at. Ayeka cleared her throat and was about to launch into a rant when suddenly a voiced rang through the cafeteria.

"DAEDELUS!!!"

Ayeka cocked her head towards the noise, when she realised the person was yelling at Daedelus she sat down on the other side of the table and watched with intent eyes.

"Who is that?" She whispered to Ryoko silently enjoying the idea of the larger man destroying Daedelus.

Re: Red Eye of the Storm! (Granom/Invite only!)
Down the hall toward the cafeteria strode a man, one who was a familiar face to some at the school, and an unknown to others. A man who hadn't been here in a long, long time. His face was still the same, but sharper and more angular, strengthened by the ordeals he'd gone through. Long, brown hair ran down his back.

He wore an expensive Chinese-style silk suit, black with dragons entwined around the arms, a man with his back straight and a strong gait, a bemuscled martial artist whom no one would dare challenge.

...and he was completely drunk.

Ren walked down the hall, stumbling every few steps, clutching a large bottle of sake in his left hand and singing in Chinese at the top of his lungs, pausing every so often to take a swig of sake from the bottle. He almost fell once, catching himself by grabbing on a nearby student, then continuing his unsteady gait towards what he thought was the dormitory.

A loud sound of metal shredding came from in front of him, accompanied by an angry shout of "DAEDELUS!".

Ren stood still, swaying slowly, then leaned forward and blinked a few times to clear his vision. He saw a blurry-looking Vash looking so pissed off it wasn't even funny anymore. Ren had no clue who the man before him was, or who the hell Daedelus was, but he knew from that yell and the state of the nearby lockers that this "Daedelus" guy was in a shitload of trouble.

Ren stood, watching, red-faced and reeking of alcohol and cheap perfume, taking swigs of his sake now and then. He could smell a fight coming, and he loved a good fight more than anything. Except booze. And women. And cigarettes. And a couple of other things. Well, fighting was up on the list somewhere, anyway.

"DAEDELUS!!!" Vash yelled with a snarl.

Daedelus walked into the cafateria.

Hearing his name he answered the person with the only logical thing he could.

"Yes? you called my name, what is it?"

Daedelus said from beneath his hood.

He then waited for his reply.

Unlike normal people, Seth really didn't feel obliged to walk around the campus grounds. Instead, he'd use the 'spider legs' that he could grow out of his back to make a general nuisance of himself. Like now, for instance.

Rather than wait in line, he had two of the legs anchored to the ceiling of the cafeteria, allowing him to swing down and swipe the meal off some distracted student's tray before drawing back up to the ceiling and scampering off. He spotted that girl Ryoko isolated off to one side of the cafeteria, and decided to scurry on over and enjoy her company (read: probably wind up getting into yet another play fight after annoying the hell outta the poor girl). Another girl beat him there, but he decided to stick to the plan anyway and dropped down from the ceiling off to Ryoko's side.

"Mornin' sunshine," he said casually, taking it upon himself to ruffle Ryoko's hair shortly after he landed. He was about to say something else when he noticed the pissed off student hell-bent on finding some poor bastard named Daedelus. "...hey, a tussle! This oughta be good, it's like dinner and a show ... 'cept with breakfast... or is it lunchtime...? Ah, fuck it, you know what I mean."

Re: Red Eye of the Storm! (Granom/Invite only!)
Vash stared at the wretched demon for a moment. So it was true, he was an abomination! Though he never had seen him before, students had said he looked rather, unique, even for someone enlisted at MHS. That only helped ease what little moral quarrel he had with coming after this boy. The research he had done before his hunt would also be of use. He had read many lost tombs and books of those recorded after the drow to prepare himself properly for his hunt. It was a skill well taught by his mentors, friends and family to aid in the challenges of seeking out your mark.

Looking Daedelus up and down for a moment by shifting only his eyes, he noticed a few abnormalities in the boy. First was his height. A drow typically stood around 5'4" to 5'6", though this boy was clearly as tall as he was, if not a bit taller. The second was his hair, a long mess of blood red. Drow typically had snow white hair, though he supposed the difference was too minute to matter. His eyes were the third, being completely white except for his pupils, unlike the deep red his race was known for that Vash's eyes portrayed at the moment. The last notable difference was his skin. It wasn't jet black or a dark purple, but a monotone gray. Whatever cursed drow he must have been, possibly a half breed from the dulled racial features he possessed, it wouldn't matter in the end.

Vash advanced on the drow at the question of why he was here. His expression had not changed, the rage boiling inside still strong. It had been building up the past few weeks after Amber had told him. Now, though, it surfaced in a somewhat controlled disaster. It was how he faught, using his own racial blessings (or curses, depending on how you looked at it) to unleash a devastating raw power fueled by emotion. Now it was focused on Daedelus, ready to explode at any cue Vash gave.

Not a single word passed Vash's lips once he reached Daedelus. The only response he would get was a single punch; hard, fast, and aimed directly for his face. His superior speed and strength would prove the greater, he was sure of it. The slits of red kept a vigilant watch on his opponent, though, just to be sure. His reckoning would come, but only time would tell when...

(OOC) I wasn't sure if this would still go on or not since, Granom had got a temp ban.

Peering into the portholes of the school cafeteria. He was looking into the hallway. His eyes widened as he saw who was standing out there. He had only seen him on very few occasions. And even then it was brief. Much like the flicker of an eye. He looked over to the other side and saw another. Maybe it was the other guy. However there was no real way of telling. One looked angry and the other not so angry.

A fight was about to happen and he wanted to be right on the front lines when it happened.

X-oshi opened the doors of the eating place and walked slowely into the hallway. His hands were placed in his pants pockets and he kept his eyes on the two as a small crowd began to form.

"Vash... against.... *he looked over to the other*... Vash against that other kid." He said to himself.

This was going to be the moment we all have been waiting for.

"Who is that?"

Catching sight of Ayeka stopped Ryoko in her tracks, leaving her not too far from the table she was sitting at. When Ayeka took a seat at the table, Ryoko returned to her position. Maybe it wasn't the best idea to go and see what had happened. She would just stay in the back and watch from afar, and not get involved. " Don't know." Ryoko replied, looking away from her roommate as she saw Seth.

"Mornin' sunshine,"..."...hey, a tussle! This oughta be good, it's like dinner and a show ... 'cept with breakfast... or is it lunchtime...? Ah, fuck it, you know what I mean."

Ryoko glared at Seth for a moment, before the look on her face suddenly turned into a happy one. By now getting her hair ruffled was something this girl was used to. " Yeah, I wonder what happened." She said, swapping looks from Daedelus to the stranger who seemed quite angry. Though Ryoko wondered what her friend had done, she was in no way going to step into his problems. This new comer obviously wanted to hurt him, and stepping in would only cause problems for this young thief.

"Hey I am talking to you. Either tell me what I am being accused of, because you have no right to come in here and act the way you are acting. So please do tell, what am I accused of? Because I do not wish to fight you, and I will not. We can either talk this out like normal people, or this ends now. He said to the person that was accusing him in a calm tone.

Darkside: Come on kid, he is giving you a back door to kill him! Why do you not take it?

Daedelus: Simple, because there is not reason too. If I can defeat the attitude of this person I win the battle.

Darkside: Eh, whatever kid.

Daedelus thought.
(the stuff with the darkside thing is in his mind. Not being said out loud.)

Re: Red Eye of the Storm! (Granom/Invite only!)
He didn't even bother dodging. The fool just talked, trying to settle Vash's already enraged mind. The dunpeal was lost and there were few things that could return him to a state of calm at this point. So his fist connected beautifully with Daedelus's face, a resounding CRACK! sounding at the hit. From the point of impact, it was most likely his jaw breaking from the sheer force Vash had put into the attack, though simple displacement was possible.

After the punch, Vash used his speed to grab Daedelus's leg, sweeping low with his claws and sinking them in. The boy seemed stunned, so it was an easy task to perform. His claw-like hands sunk deep into the leg, breaking the skin and most likely causing quite a bit of discomfort. Then, using his demonic strength, he lifted Daedelus into the air, swinging him high up before bringing the leg he had ahold of down onto the back of a chair.

The blow was fierce with leverage and momentum both working in Vash's favour. Another CRACK! brought a smirk of twisted satisfaction to the dunpeal's shaded face. His eyes flashed a bit brighter for a mere moment in delight to hear that sound. His brooding thoughts would be fufilled this day and it pleased him so to be doing it in such a painful manner. Whatever discomfort he had caused, he would feel it a thousand times over in physical pain.

'This," he began, deciding to acctually answer his pathetic question, "is for Amber and the sheer disgust and fright you made her experience when you were around her. Try and remember what I am about to put you through when you think about even so much as look in her general direction again!"

Daedelus's hood flys back and he flies backwards from the recoil of the attack. He refuses to give the man the satisfaction of seeing him in pain so he ignores the pain in his face and gets back up.

"Its not over yet."

" That is it. I did not want a confrontation but I will tell you this. I do not know what you are talking about, and you have no right to act this way."

He then draws his sword. The light that reflected off of it was brilliant enought to blind someone.

He then gets into battle stance.

" Also MAKE ME! I DO NOT KNOW WHO THE HELL YOU THINK YOU ARE!!!!!!!!!!! BUT I CAN TALK TO ANYONE IN THIS SCHOOL! SO IF YOU THINK YOU CAN TELL ME WHAT TO DO THEN YOU ARE MISTAKEN!" He screams.
Also know you can not shatter this sword. It is made from the remains of a gold dragon so it is not easily broken. "

Daedelus then gets into stance and prepares the coming onslaught.

Vash could only stare in amazment. The blow he gave to Daedelus's leg would have shattered the bones of any normal person, and break that of even some of the toughest students here. Even if his mind was clouded with dark thoughts, it was a feat of endurence even he paled to. Then, the smirk rose again. This only ment his victim would alst longer, scream louder and prove more fun than originally intended.

With that thought in mind, he gave a bit of a chuckle and then charged forwards. It was a quick move, intended to keep the boy on his toes. He lightly flicked his wrist forwards as his arm took an L-shape, sending only a light tap for him to block with the back of his fist. Then came the devistating blow, straight to the gut with his free hand. It was a brutal ahnd knife that would easily dig into his gut with the power he put behind it. He knew almsot any swordsman would have great difficulty blocking two blows acting almost in unison, the second coming only a fraction of a second after the first. Hopefully this would open up the boy for a large onslaught of attacks.

"You know exactly what I am talking about," he mentioned in passing as he attacked, "you little maggot. And you don't have the right to talk to anyone you want around here. I suggest you learn that quickly, or I will not be the only one making you bleed profusely!"

Daedelus blocks vashes attacks with ease.

"Stop it vash, If I wanted to fight you, I would but if you think it is proper to kill someone for fun, then you are sadly mistaken." He then while saying that he sheathed his sword, and somersaults and lands by the door.

"If you wish to discuss this like mature people would, then I will, but until then. goodby.

Daedelus then walks out of the cafateria, and he runs to somewhere else on the campus.

Re: Red Eye of the Storm! (Granom/Invite only!)
It was dumbfounding how well he could use that sword. Blocking not one, but two almsot simultaneous attacks with one blade was no small feat. The dunpeal couldn't even keep track of what happened! How had he blocked those two attacks? He wasn't even sure that he himself could do that consistantly, especially against a faster opponent. Maybe it was luck. It had to be! If it was, then it would eventually run out, so Vash pressed his attack.

After spouting some garbage about being mature and him wanting to kill him (did he ever mention killing him?) he made an attempt to make a backflip towards the door. This was going to be his chance! With a quick movement forwards, Vash reached out and grabbed the boy by the back of his shirt. He then pulled him forward and down, forcing him to connect with the floor with an unimaginable amount of force. Caught off guard, the dunpeal hoped the boy would be too surprised to counter, though larger saving graces had happened already.

"Not so fast!" he said while he executed his attack. "I am not done with you yet. You have disgraced my friends, and for that, you must suffer rightous judgement."

"I did nothing to amber. I honestly have no idea what you are talking about. If you knew me, you would know that."

daedelus said as he recovered from the fall and blocked the blow with his sword in a swift drawing of it.

"Honestly man, I have nothing against amber if you just stop, and you got to know me, then you would know whatever someone did to amber I am not responsible."

But unfortunately, blocking the blow sent his sword flying and it landed in one of the tables. It was so deep that Daedelus would have to pull it out of the table.

Weaponless, he ran backwards and got into battle stance.

Man this is bad, my sword is really stuck in that table, there is absolutely no way that I could get it out unless I went over there, and pulled it out. that could take a while. I could use master thief, but then it would only work for an hour. Dang, this is really a bind.

Daedelus thouhgt to himself with a frown.

He then waited for a reply.

Re: Red Eye of the Storm! (Granom/Invite only!)
There was no reply. At least, there was no verbal reply. In his mind, the time for words was over. Daedelus, again, had gotten lucky and somehow managed to lessen the impact of the fall. He also wondered how his leg could still be holding out. That blow against the back of the chair should have broken it, so even someone with a tough skeletal structure like Jun-Bo would have some trouble shaking it off. His leg seemed to be the best point to attack, but he would need to distract him somehow.

Keeping those points in mind, Vash kept his attack going. Daedelus had flipped out of the fall, softening the blow, but that didn't stop the hunter from using it to his advantage. Before his opponent could recover, Vash came at him with his full power. A swift kick was all he delivered, going from the ground up to smash him in the stomach. He knew the boy would be hard pressed to dodge it, simply because he was just recovering from the fall. His sword, consquently, flew out of range and that suited the dunpeal just fine. Without sword and the kick being delivered almsot an instant after throwing him, he knew Daedelus was being worn down little by little. It was only a matter of time...

The blow to the stomach surprised daedelus.
After that daedelus then hits the ground. then all he sees is the room spinning and then their was darkness.

Darkside: come on kid, go get your sword!
Daedelus:I can't...the sword is stuck in the table.
Darkside: Well then use "Master Thief" that would get your sword back, and it would give you the boost that it offers to your speed would give you the advantage to beating this "Vash" guy.
Daedelus: No! If I use it, I might attract my enemies. He will just keep going until my power wears off. Nope, it looks like this is one fight we are going to lose.
Darkside: NO! It won't be kid. Do you remember our fight with the Valkyrion dragon? It wore us down to, but we beat it!
Daedelus: It's not the same this time.
Darkside: But it is kid!
Daedelus:...........
Darkside: Kid? KID! WAKE UP!
Darkside: Grr he is unconcious, well this once I know you can;t hear me kid, but we are a bout to get our but kicked.
(Darkside stuff is in his mind.)
Daedelus thought he then fell unconcious.
