Well, its the weekend here at MHS. Wouldn't it be great if all schools started on a Friday for the first day of school. What a way to start off. You get a weekend right after your first day. Well, this is because we are done with the first day of class. How so you ask. As you only went to one class. yes, but I am sure that doing the same thing for each class would get boring. So the one class you experienced is basically how all the classes are going to be.

Well, ezboard still hasn't confirmed anything on a final date when everything is changed over to Yuku. And we are working on what to do next. We all want user friendliness after everything is changed away from Ezbaord, and we are trying everything we can to ensure that we have just that when we are at a new board hosting site.

Reikia PentanName: Reikia Raphael Pentan Nick: Rei Age: 15 Grade: 10th
Appearance:
Reikia is rather tall for her age at 5 foot 8 and often appears lanky with her slim waist. Like majority of fifteen year old girls, she has developed her feminine curves as well as a chest but something’s are just odd about her. Take her hair for instance. The colour is an intense blue, which was inherited from her mum. She always lets her hair hang loosely down her back and is usually held back with some form of ribbon. Occasionally it slides out, which goes unnoticed by herself. Her eyes, very much like her hair, are a matching passionate blue which sometimes resemble the sky on a beautiful day.
Her ears are pierced several times, though she rarely has earrings in them all. Above her lip is a tiny scar, which has matching larger scars on her wrist and neck from an incident with a dog when she was much younger. Around her neck, which she never takes off, is a blue chain with a glistening white pendant given to her by her mother when she was small child. Unknowingly to herself, this is the source of her power and how she is able to use it.
Her clothes she usually wears are generally coloured white, blue or black, when she isn’t in her school uniform. One of her favourite outfits, which she wears a lot, is a blue top which has a white lace overlapping the top half of the shirt and two white straps both side to hold it up. To accompany this top she usually wears a matching knee length skirt, which has the same white lace at the bottom and a pair of small white flats.
Personality:
Firstly, Reikia is somewhat bubbly and hyper around others. She loves having fun and generally spending time with others. Laughing is something she does a lot of, no matter how grim the situation is. She also daydreams a lot, and if often considered slightly flighty. She is totally unaware of others thoughts towards her, and isn’t afraid to be who she wants to be. It is very rare for Reikia to show her depressive side around others. No matter how upset she is about something, she doesn’t mope around, though it isn’t uncommon to see a sad ex-pression when she’s thinking about her past.
It is also very rare for Reikia to get angry or annoyed about something. This doesn’t necessarily make Reikia a push over, but just friendly. Nothing seems to annoy or anger the woman, and many people have tried and tested her patience. Instead of shouting or generally reacting, however, Reikia just ignores them to the extent that she doesn’t even see them any longer. As if they no longer exist. Reikia doesn’t really like confrontations and would rather stick her head in the clouds, or the sea, then face her problems face on.
Reikia normally bottles her emotions up, and they have the tendency to catch up on herself. This can lead to Reikia having hateful moments and boundaries are totally no longer existent. She had often been described to act like an insane woman and her speech becomes erratically fast as well as shrill. This is because in these moments she finally reveals her true feelings towards the person, even about the little things that annoy her. Without a doubt, she has a lot to say after bottling her feelings up for so long. It’s only natural.
She hardly puts herself before her friends, as her friend’s happiness sparks her own. Reikia always remains loyal and won’t under any circumstances destroy someone’s trust. When she gets to know someone, she slowly opens up and that person sees another side of her. A side with fears, hopes and dreams. She isn’t just as simple as she looks or acts, but in fact is riddled with mystery as this happy personality is merely a mask over her insecurity. No one knows the true Reikia, though many think so.
Special Power:
Both powers only come out when Reikia wants them too. So it doesn’t always happen just by touching someone, so she has no need for gloves. The power which enables her to carry out these abilities, unknowingly to her, is from the pendant which she wears around her neck. It absorbs the moister in the air, hence the white colour, and the little power she is able to harness out of it, acts on her will and control, either it being for heal or death touch.
Heal – Raphael – Angel of Healing
Reikia from a young age learned that from a mere touch of her hand she could heal, but soon discovered that her healing powers didn’t extent far. At the moment, she can only cure cuts and bruises with the power she currently has and currently more power that she is unable to tap into for use. She has the potential to grow and learn how to improve her powers to heal more major wounds.
Death Touch – Azrael – Angel of Death
This moves name is half right. Though the move will not kill anyone, but enables Reikia to cause harm to her opponent by a measly touch of the hand. This move does not only able her to make flesh wounds, but can, once in a blue moon, damage organs and even break bones. Currently she has forbidden herself to use, unless in dire circumstances. The problem with this ability is that is consumes a lot of power, power which she doesn't have, no matter how big or small the damage. This can cause Reikia to black out afterwards if used and just like her healing; she has to touch the person with a full palm/hand, making it difficult to use in combat.
History Concerning The Pendant And Raphael Line
The milky white pendant is a family heirloom, on her mother’s side. The Raphael family line, the line she is decent from, was once a proud family decent from angels. All the family members had a similar stone, often worn in different ways. They all knew the purpose of the stone, which was to simply channel the power gathered inside it, for their own purpose. The stone, a guarded item, can’t be used by anyone else other from the Raphael bloodline, but the owner would be virtually useless without it.
It was said that the family has been able to collect the moister themselves and had simply put it into stone for save keeping. It was once just made to make it easier for the user, but after many years the owners had become dependant on it. The stone started to collect its own power from the moister around it, and the family started to lose the ability to collect the power themselves. Soon, the entire family lost the way of how to use their power without the stone and have been handing their own stones down to the next generation either since.
Within years the family had become powerful, especially the ones who inherited the ancient techniques, but like any powerful family, became crooked. Members were being killed off and the family plummeted into huge debts, in the end losing everything. All the ancients were killed and it seemed the family had simply been wiped away from the surface of the earth. All except one.
Mina became the last person left alive, whom had the strange abilities of the angelic family. She could only use the simple healing power Raphael, meaning Angel of Healing, which they were well known for and named after. She, unlike the rest of the family, didn’t care about her power and began working as a local nurse, where she met Shino, an English man.
Shino and Mina never married because of the different ethnics between them. They did though produce a daughter named Reikia. Mina had hoped instead of the intense blue hair, she would have the dark locks of her father. Unfortunately, it didn’t turn out the way Mina had hoped. Reikia had inherited the blue hair, along with it the rights to the pendant around her mother’s neck. In fact, Reikia had more right to the pendant than her mother.
Other then the hair, Reikia’s genes consisted of a rare Raphael gene, causing the light blue eyes, something which Mina didn’t process. The eye colour was a sign that her powers would be much greater then Mina’s, and that she could learn some of the legendary technique’s including Azrael. Mina, knowing full well that it would be dangerous for her to inherit the family name, insisted that Reikia would take her father’s name which was Pentan. Instead, she made her family name the child’s middle name.
Reikia never found out about her special bloodline or her inheritance. Her mother died, leaving the milky white stone in Reikia’s care. Reikia knew the stone was special, but how she wasn’t sure. She was also told to never take it off and since that day has never removed it around her neck. She never once linked the necklace to the powers she discovered she possessed a couple of days later, and still to this day has no idea of the power dangling around her neck.

For the majority of her life she has lived with her father, Shino, who moved their before she was born from England. Her mother Mina, whom she hardly remembers, died in a car crash when she was at the fragile age of five, was Japanese. As long as Rei can remember hardly anyone has used her real name, Reikia, meaning graceful, except teacher and strangers. Reikia has been known to somewhat clumsy after all despite her name meaning, and attended a dance class to become more graceful. It didn’t work.
Her father, a club bouncer, had to work hard for a living for them both, as well as trying to help Reikia grow up. He never noticed her strange gift, not until after she started the local primary school after Mina died. Reikia, however, new perfectly well of her special power and used it to her best advantages. She did not really care how weak it was. She nonetheless, didn’t realise it was something to do with the milky white pendant hanging around her neck.
At the age of five, Rei was playing in the front garden of her house. The next door neighbour owned a golden doodle called River. Whilst playing, the dog spied the girl from its own yard. Minutes later, River had ran over and pounced on the girl, scratching her left arm as he did so. Then, without a second thought, River clamped its teeth over her jaw piercing her upper lip and neck. Before that day, Rei had loved dogs, but now had turned her attention to cats. So her father bought her a short haired black cat, she named Starla.
When she started school, she wasn’t like any other kid. She was shy, and no other child wanted to play with her and would often sit alone watching with wishful eyes. One day a girl in her class, had fallen down and scraped her knee. Reikia, without a second thought, ran over to the girl and touched the wound. Miraculously the cut glowed blue and just under thirty seconds, her knee was as good as new. Pleased with herself, she smiled cheerfully at the girl, who in turned looked absolutely terrified.
Afterwards, the girl told her fellow classmates of the school what had happened. Now instead of being ignored, Reikia had nasty comments thrown at her. Unknown to the bullies but they were actually helping Reikia. She learnt to ignore their comments and how to build her confidence up. Soon the story had gotten around school, and children who like herself, were alone and ignored, sorted her out for friendship. Many thinking her healing gifts were cool and wishing that they could do it too.
Around a couple of years later, a girl named Susie, had decided to single Reikia out. At first the young girl did what she did best by ignoring her, but Susie wouldn’t tolerate it. Though Susie didn’t know Reikia personally, she knew all the stories and loathed her special powers and the people she attracted with it. Susie came up to a plan and chose to attack Reikia one day in the yard. Unknown to her, she would awaken another of Rei’s powers, Azrael. Later that day, the young girl Susie, would regret what she did that day forever inside the local hospital, with a broken arm.
After that, nothing much happened to Reikia until much later in life. Her father died. She hadn’t been there at the time, but could envision it all the same; her father’s cold body underneath the blue bonnet of a car and the frightened drunk driver speeding off. Leaving her father to die. To die alone. She cried herself to sleep many times after that, wishing she could have been there to save him, thought that she knew deep down she couldn’t have done anything.
When the grief finally was over, Reikia thought over the accident and that her powers weren’t that strong enough to save him. This gave her a motive; the motive to get better with her powers so that one day she could save lives, unlike her fathers. Weeks later after the accident she heard of Manga School and how it could help people like her. Without hesitation she signed up straight away, and entered the tenth grade. Unconsciously, she took after her mother whose only desire was only to help people and not kill.
Reikia gazed into the reflecting mirror before her, and tugged at one of her sapphire locks. “Why did I have to have blue hair?” She sighed deeply to herself, looking regretfully towards the clothes rack. “It will never go with my hair.”
Remorsefully she walked away from the full length mirror and returned once more to the clothes stand. There on a silver wire hanger, was one of the most beautiful dresses she had seen in her entire life. If it wasn’t for the fact of the colour, a flaming scarlet, Reikia would have bought it straight away. It was also sleeveless and just knee high, perfect in her own point of view for the upcoming school dance she shortly would be attending.
Her hand went out to touch the fabric, but then something else caught her eye; a similar dress but in a different colour. Her eyes lit up, as she approached the snow white dress with light blue trimmings. Surely it couldn’t be in my size as well? Reikia thought to herself, stroking the fabric contently with a delicate hand. Her eyes went to the price tag, and her heart swooned. “Wow,” Reikia gasped. “Last in stock and 20% off.”
Without hesitation she grabbed the hanger of the dress, and carefully walked over to the pay desk. Handing over the money, while the assistant cautiously followed the dress and pushed it into a carry bag, Reikia beamed to herself. She had just bought herself a new dress but her first dance at Manga High and was very excited about it. She hadn’t planned on attending the dance at first, but this dress was a sign she needed. Personality:
Reikia has a shy but protection personality. She loves to help people but is often too shy to approached people in need of help. Normally she’s just another blurry face in the crowd, but to her friends, the few who are not put off by her outstanding strangeness, they could spot her a mile away. This is mainly because of two main reasons.
The first reason being, that Reikia would do anything for someone or something she cared about. She hardly puts herself before her friends, as her friend’s happiness sparks her own. The second cause is that she is trusting. Reikia doesn’t believe in betraying people, even if the person in question is no longer a friend, since that individual was once someone she cared about. She always remains loyal and won’t under any circumstances destroy someone’s trust.
Most of the time, when she isn’t walking with her head in the clouds; she’s telling someone a joke or doing something outrageous odd. She isn’t one for sad or angry faces. Though she displays so much confidence in herself, she finds it hard to make friends but once she has made them she intents to keep them, unless given a cause to forget about that. No one could ask for a more loyal friend.

Well I'm not sure this can work because we're currently limiting the chi/kai/ki powers. Explain more where the energy comes from.

Note: I hope this is okay and I would like to say I’m willing to change anything if it is unacceptable. Also I guess the cat is a character in herself, so will not be using Starla in RPG until I have miniuim required posts to create another character. Edit: Few errors and mistakes.
Unless the cat is being used as a tool then no its okay, Just add a little scribble about the cat if you'd like, its not needed.
