We have added a few things to the requirements to power and ability upgrades. Be sure and read the details in the most recent update when you request a new power / upgrade.
Well, its the weekend here at MHS. Wouldn't it be great if all schools started on a Friday for the first day of school. What a way to start off. You get a weekend right after your first day. Well, this is because we are done with the first day of class. How so you ask. As you only went to one class. yes, but I am sure that doing the same thing for each class would get boring. So the one class you experienced is basically how all the classes are going to be.
Teacher posts role. Day gets started, end of class happens, everyone goes to their next class, or home..
Well, ezboard still hasn't confirmed anything on a final date when everything is changed over to Yuku. And we are working on what to do next. We all want user friendliness after everything is changed away from Ezbaord, and we are trying everything we can to ensure that we have just that when we are at a new board hosting site.

Relaxing after a night of little sleep... (Open!)
Knives stretched as he walked through the doors and into the Hot Springs, his arms in the air. His deep blue eyes gazed around the room slowly, searching to see if anyone else was in there...unfortunately, the fog was too thick in the room, and he was unable to see. Of course, he could sniff out somebody, or even use his German Sheppard ears atop his head try to listen, using his heightened senses to his advantage - but he was too tired right now. This was obvious when he yawned; a big, wide-mouthed yawn, revealing his teeth - of which, his canines were larger and sharper than usual, like fangs. He scratched his head a bit, unintentionally ruffling up his already curly brown hair, which was long enough to fall to his eyebrows in the front, and past where human ears would be on the sides.
He came upon the edge of the water, and stepped into it without hesitation. It was rather warm, which had sounded uninviting at first - considering how hot it was outside, and how Knives didn't like hot weather - but as he sat down in the spring's water, the dog boy realized that it was actually very relaxing. With a sigh, he sprawled out on the spring's underwater bench, and leaned his head back on the edge of the water. Slowly, he let his eyelids fall shut, and another sigh escaped his lips.
It didn't matter who was around, nor did he care if they came to talk to him - but he was too tired to seek out others right now. After all, he'd only just came to the school the night before, and hadn't had anywhere to sleep...so he intended to sleep outside. But when he met his first friend, he hadn't had much time to sleep; so he planned to get a little bit of rest (even if it wasn't of the sleeping kind) here in the spring.

"Ikutsu namida o nagashitara. Every heart, sunao ni nareru darou. Dare ni omoi tsutaetara. Every heart, kokoro mita sareru no darou," a young female voice sang softly as she walked timidly through the girls' locker room. She wore a glacier blue one piece swimsuit with lavender trim around the edges. Her honey brown hair was tied in a rather messy bun and a few strands fell in her face. Her deep sapphire eyes were more so focused on the ground than in front of her. This was only her second time going to the indoor hotspring and she was a mass of nerves. She tucked a navy blue towel under her arm and continued sing her song to herself. However, about half way through, she stopped and sighed. She was beginning to have second thoughts.
When she walked out to the hotsprings, she stepped back a bit. She saw someone else there that she had never seen before. But then again, it was foggy and she couldn't really tell; she only assumed she didn't know them.

A door opened and closed, creating a whooshing noise. It wasn't loud, but then again dogs can hear so much better than humans. So, as soon as the girl entered the room, Knives's ear twitched. But he wasn't surprised, didn't jump to meet her or anything - after all, this was a public spring, and he was expecting people to be moving in and out. He was rather surprised at first when he'd been the only one in the place.
But when the girl entered, he did open his eyes and tilt his head back even more, causing his longish curly brown hair to fall away from his head and face, and spread out across the concrete underneath, and even some fell into the water. He was, at this point, neck deep in the water, as it was the only way for him to tilt his head back so far. His blue eyes peered across the room at the girl, but he could only barely see her through the thick fog. He let out a sigh, and then finally decided to speak to the girl.
"Hey there, you comin to relax too?"

"Yeah," she replied simply. She walked over to the hotspring and eased herself into the water. It was nice and warm and very relaxing. She set her towel down and sank into the water up to her neck. She sighed with relief before looking over at Knives. It was at this time that she noticed his ears. As much as she tried not to, she couldn't help but stare at them.

As the girl approached the water, Knives lifted his head from the edge of the spring so that he could watch her outline as she approached. While she walked over, Knives squinted into the fog, hoping the girl better, though as she got closer her figure slowly came into focus, so that he was able to see who she was. Not only that, but he was able to recognize her - it was the same girl he'd met earlier that day, in the library. As she lowered herself into the water, the dog boy gave her a big smile, showing her his white teeth, including his fangs.
"Hey, I remember you! How ya doin?"
He continued watching her, but noticed that her focus was on his ears. This made him laugh a little, so he leaned his head closer to her, lowering his face so that his ears were pointed in her direction. They twitched a little, and he looked up at her without lifting his head - though that caused his hair to get in the way slightly, as it hung from his head.
"You wanna touch em? I don't mind..."

Hitomi blushed a little when Knives asked if she wanted to touch his ears. She hesitated for about a minute or so before answering with a rather uncertain "Okay". She gently rubbed his ears; they were actually prety soft and kinda cute. It reminded her a little of when she'd rubbed Felix's ears. She hoped noting would suddenly come up and create an awkward moment.

Knives smiled a bit when he saw the blush form on her face....he could tell she was a pretty shy girl, but it didn't bother him. In fact, sometimes he could be playful and outgoing enough for two people. This was likely because of his father's side; dogs were generally pretty fun creatures.
He felt her hand fall gently upon his ear, and his eyelids shut slowly. As she began to rub, he gave a gentle "Hmmmmm" sound, letting her know it felt good. In addition to that, after a few moments, he couldn't help but press his ear against her hand some more, just like a dog would do when you scratch its ears. After all, this was one of his sensitive areas; he loved getting his ears scratched. He slowly lifted his head, just enough that he could look at her without straining his eyes to look up, and without his hair getting in the way - but still, he tried not to move too much, that she would think he wanted her to stop.
"So....what brings you to the hot springs? I needed some rest, haven't gotten much sleep cause I don't have a dorm room yet..."

"I just felt like taking a break for a little while. I've been studying a lot for when classes begin, although I could probably be doing something more creative with my time," she replied, continuing to rub Knives' ears. She'd almost forgotten she was still rubbing them and started to just absentmindedly scratch him behind his ears. After about a minmute or so, she snapped out of her thoughts and stopped.
"Sorry about that. I spaced out," she apologized, now looking down at the water.

"I see....that makes sense. But I thought classes didn't begin for a while?" He really didn't know much; it was only his second day at the school, and she was really only the second person he'd met. So no one had told him much about the place yet, and he didn't know too much on his own. So he just sat and listened to her interestedly, to find out what was going on. "But yea, a break must be good." He gave her a big smile, showing his fangs again.
Suddenly, she seemed to get very nervous. He blinked as her hand left his ear, and he lifted his head to look at her. His head tilted to the side curiously, and his ears drooped a bit now that she'd stopped. He was enjoying it when she was doing that, and couldn't see a reason why she would have stopped - after all, he hadn't made a move to stop her.
"Sorry about that. I spaced out," He blinked, and then, with a laugh, replied, "No, don't be sorry, it felt good! You're welcome to do it all you want."

Knives blinked a bit, and tilted his head to the side. He shrugged and leaned back again against the wall of the hot spring, sinking back down to his neck once again. He leaned his head back against the edge of the spring just as before, so that his hair hung back again. This time, though, he turned his head to the side, so that he could look over at the girl.
"I do, huh? Well...I remind me of myself, if that means anything." He smiled at her, and gave another shrug. "But, uhhm, Felix huh? Is he a dog too?" He was very curious. After all, Knives was the only one of his kind he'd seen before, outside of the dog creatures he'd met when he visited his father's pack in the mountains. If there was another like him at this school, he thought it'd be pretty cool to meet him... "You think he's the same as me, maybe?"

"Ano... Not exactly," Hitomi replied a bit nervously as she let out a nervous laugh. She sheepishly rubbed the back of her head, not sure what else to say. It's pretty wierd telling a dog he reminds you of a cat, but she couldn't help it. She imagined the two meeting eachother and giggled a little bit under her breath. She was positive that what happened in her mind wouldn't actually happen, but it was still a little humerous. She shook her head in an attempt to get rid of her bizarre thoughts; she could only imagine how strange it probably looked.

His ears drooped a little when he found out that he really was the only of his race. But it didn't bother him too much; he'd expected that he wouldn't find another long ago. So, pretty quickly, he went back to his normal, happy look. But he noticed a small giggle escape Hitomi, and he looked up at her again, tilting his head to the side curiously. "Uhhm...what's so funny?" He smiled a bit to see her giggle, because he was glad that she was happy rather than nervous. "Did I do something?"
"Ahhh, well," He said, kind of to himself even though it was out loud. He sat up again, so that much of his upper body was out of the water. Now, he rested his arms on the edge of the spring, stretched out. His one hand came pretty close to Hitomi, although it was quite obvious Knives hadn't intended to do so or even knew he'd done it. "Uhhhm, how long have you been at this school?"

"No, I just had a weird thought," she replied. She soved the thought to the back of her mind and continued to relax in the hotspring. She felt a twinge of uneasiness when Knives' hand came a little close to her and moved away about and inch.
"Uhhhm, how long have you been at this school?"
"I've only been here a few weeks. What about you?" she replied.

"A weird thought, huh?" He looked over her, his ears twitching again and his head tilted to the side. "What kind of weird thought, I wonder...." As he said this, he looked down at the water's shimmering surface, as if he were actually talking to himself. But when he glanced over at her, smiling and chuckling a bit, it was quite obvious - if it wasn't before - that he was really directing that at Hitomi.
"I've only been here a few weeks. What about you?" At this, he lifted his head, and his ears twitched again. He looked over at her again. "Only a few weeks? Hey, that makes us both new!" He smiled. "This is only my second day!" He laughed a bit. This made Hitomi the only other new student he'd met thus far, since Amber seemed to have been here for a good while. "I bet you know more about this place than me, though, right? Have you been to a class yet?" He thought a moment, before adding, "And I bet you could show me around, too, huh?"

Knives smiled over at her, and sat up straight now. This caused the water level to only come up to his mid-torso, so that his chest and shoulders were now completely out of the water. Water droplets rolled down his exposed body, as it was still wet from being underwater, and fell into the pool; though it was a natural effect, and didn't really phase him at all. He turned his body slightly towards Hitomi.
"So you do know some about this place? What's your favorite place so far?" His smile grew a little, and he continued, " I've only seen the lake, here, and the library...so far the lake's my favorite."
He shrugged, and looked around the room, although he couldn't see very far due to the thick mist that hung around them. But that wasn't really why he was doing it; he was rather restless, and was trying to think of something to do...
(it's fine. Hopefully, I can figure out somewhere to go with this and make it really fun ^^)
