I picked up my little buggy from JC Diesel yesterday after picking myself up off the ground at the bill. It came to $968.35. For this I got the following: Check Front end labour (at my request) $36.36 Wheel Alignement $30.00 Rotate Wheels & Balance $54.55 Oil Change (Penrite) $30.00 Oil Filter (Toyota one) $29.41 Reco Injectors $518.18 for the set Dynotune $145.45 GST $88.04 Also included Remove & Strip injectors Reassemble using New Nozzles and Washers Test Pressure of Nozzle Run vehicle on Dyno Check Fuel Pump Fueling Road Test My buggy now goes like the clappers. The difference in pickup and performance is unbelievable, I have gone from a slug bug to a race car...I had to watch my speed!! Best of all NO SMOKE when I put my foot down flat to the floor from a standstill and it took off whoa there nelly!! So I guess you could say that having my injectors done was well worth the money. JC Diesel were excellent in their service and reporting to me. They phoned me at lunch time (although I didn't want to answer my mobile when I saw their number come up) to report that all was ok with the car and had no nasty surprises. Though they can't figure out the loosing coolant deal. There were no tiny leaks that they could see and recommened that I not worry about it and just keep an eye on the amount of coolant I lose (very minimal) and if it increases then look into it..I don't know if this is good advise but at this stage my credit card is saying "don't worry, don't worry". I would recommend JC Diesel at Narellan if you are south of Sydney. I was very happy that they answered all my inane questions without treating me like an idiot, did not overcharge (prices seem reasonable to me it is just when all those little amounts are put together it adds up) and they were very accomodating to my time schedule of dropping off the car and picking it up. I am happy to answer any questions.
