Rogue Dagger from POE
Do any of you guys know where the mob that drops this dagger can be found? I have only heard of it but not yet seen it myself. Any help would be great, thanks.
in the caves, yep you know the ones behind the locked door, which you can get past via getting the key off huge croc guarding the door.
oh yes then ya got the rock mobs in the cave to get past haha before you get to dagger droping mob, and its his rare drop. *shrug* makes the other classes pet weapons a walk in the park eh? hahah ...... its because they fear our power!! well that and we stole the last jelly baby and now they are making us pay.

Yes, yet another example of the idiotically difficul rogue dagger placement.
Do I have the key to the door? Yes.
Do I have even a slight chance of convincing a group to go back there and help me farm it? Nope.
The cave is chock full of AEing (50hp/tick dot last a LONG time) golems with an insanely large ag radius. They are social and so bring their friends. Despite the fact that these guys drop gems at an amazing rate I've been unable to convince anyone to go back there with me.

it's still better than the bard/SK pet weapons, and the absurd drop rate of the warrior sword. (seen over 20 war sword droppers dead, 0 drops, 100% pal/SK 1hbs)

Bard/SK droppers are easy compared to that cave. We have two of the bard swords (neither spent any time at all camping it, just popped the turtle when he was up) and two or three SK swords. Every warrior that camped the Fire area got one within a few days. Every paladin that wants one has gotten it within a few days.
Zero rogue daggers. We saw him up once but he despawned before we could get there. And it's not like we haven't tried, I think we've gotten 5 or 6 of those IH4 masks and seem to run into that stupid lance golem every other mob.

The 16-21 ratio is weak compared to weapons you'll most likely have by the time you're at this stage of the game, though, the pet proc is decent DPS, parsing at 12.5 dps with WA5, in primary. Most 100-150dd procs are only 6-7 dps, but, the pet proc won't make up for the inferior ratio when comparing it to 16-19 +1 fire from the GRMK or any other piercer in the elementals (Ifir / RMT).

Went hunting for a dagger 2 nights ago. Twice a dagger dropping mob spawned at the first trap past the locked door. So you don't have to go deep in. Third mob spawned at the arbitor area. All 3 dropped the mask however.
Edit: Derrict not everyone has GRMK or Ifir. I only have gargoyle talon/bloodbath so yes it would be an upgrade for me.

Btw you don't have to convince friends to come over to spawn the named... you can run around respawning the traps every 20 mins when they depop.
If I remember correctly, the nameds won't despawn anyway, so that's why one might be up.
There was some debate whether the nameds pop to the other side of the dungeon than where the trap is located, so I personally did run around the entire dungeon once every 20 mins to pop every trap.
I believe we got like 1-2 of the nameds when we were running with a friend.

I have seen many named despawn before I could get a group there...unless that is changed now, don't suggest that.

We went back to do Arb backflags last night, haven't done him in forever and a day. Somehow there were 6 Glimmerstones and 2 of the Pristine Gem guys up in the caves on the way in - more than we saw in total when we were actually farming PoE. Grats us on 6 lances, 1 mask, 1 dagger. Grats Graelmon on the poker. Not sure how many there are on Quell, but at least one now.

theres a few on quell, friend of mine box'd the mob for his alt rogue to get a dagger - really cute toy:
