Well, its the weekend here at MHS. Wouldn't it be great if all schools started on a Friday for the first day of school. What a way to start off. You get a weekend right after your first day. Well, this is because we are done with the first day of class. How so you ask. As you only went to one class. yes, but I am sure that doing the same thing for each class would get boring. So the one class you experienced is basically how all the classes are going to be.
Teacher posts role. Day gets started, end of class happens, everyone goes to their next class, or home..
Well, ezboard still hasn't confirmed anything on a final date when everything is changed over to Yuku. And we are working on what to do next. We all want user friendliness after everything is changed away from Ezbaord, and we are trying everything we can to ensure that we have just that when we are at a new board hosting site.

Roll of Black Lace (Open)
Humming a tune to herself, a winged girl measured, stitched and looked over the designs to a dress now displayed on a dummy. This one paled in comparison to the white version that she showed to her best friend, but it seemed a little more suitable for Halloween. She had spent weeks working on it, whenever she wasn't training and sleep escaped her.
Long lengths of black cotton fabric and strips of red cloth were spread on the floor, with black delicate laces and red ribbon of all kinds piled on top. A small tin held needles of all kinds, a pincushion, scissors and three different spools of thread in three colors. One was out and now in use as Amber started stiching in the red crosses in what appeared to be a nurse's hat. She had pricked her finger a few times, but it came with the trade. As she stitched, the winged girl hummed "Ode to Joy" to herself; what a wonderful song to hum to these days!
Looking to the dress on the dummy, she mused to herself. She might have to find someone who could fit into the dress, just to see where and what she needed to alter. That would be later and she continued sewing the hat together, humming in the most dulcet way.
There was the sound of a loud crash behind the curtain of the audioturium. A figure stumbled outside the curtain his head seemed to be covered in a assortment of fruits? Yes, it was fruit everything from grapes to pineapples. Upon closer inspection it would be revealed to be well a hat used in various stage plays. The figure lifted the hat slightly above his eyes to reveal his idenity it was Lucian. Those blue eyes of his looked at the dress, then to Amber. He must of been messing around in the Auditorium again. "Hey, cool looking dress."
Stumbling over to her still a little disoriented from what happened behind the curtain. A soft smile came across his lips as he tilted his head to the side, "If you think I'm wearing it your solely mistaken. It's not my color," it was a joke him in a dress HA! It would look rather fletching with the fruit hat, though. " I didn't know you could sew and stitch. I'm not very artsy when it comes to cloth. I always manage to prick myself on the needle."
Talkative as always not even noticing he still had the fruit hat on or he didn't know he had it on. There was a white feather ontop of the hat a hint on how he ended up backstages to begin with and why he crashed.

Sewing and stitching for Amber was a sort of meditative craft, a venting for her frustrations and to hone her skills little by little. It calmed her, almost to a point where she could not react to loud noises or the presences of others.
Mind you, Lucian's noisy entrance did cause her to glance at him from the corner of her eye but then she would be lulled back into the trance-like, domestic trade. He was a minor threat still, despite that oddly cheerful disposition. There had been others who ended up turning against her...ah, but no such thoughts would surface.
"Why would I ask you to wear it, Lucian?" It was a question, but in her trance it was more of a "that's a silly thing to say" tone. The red cross for the hat was bright against the black cloth, burning into it and seeming to glow for the stage lights.
"I've been sewing since I was eleven. A relative from Japan taught me."

Somehow, Lucian had managed to steal a fold-out chair from the backstage curtain. He was sitting in it backwards putting his chin in the palm of his hand. Watching her sew the dress a tilt of his head to the question. He said with a smirk, "It was a joke. I would look absolutely horrible in a dress, besides I'm not your size."
"I've been sewing since I was eleven. A relative from Japan taught me."
Crossing his arms over the top of the chair. Amber seemed so calm and medative when she sewed to his surpise. Normally, she was kind of nervous and guarded around him. Drumming his finger tops idly ontop of the chair. Did she say Japan? He hadn't been to Japan, but always wanted to go heard quite a bit about the culture and loved the food. His voice held a intentive tone, "I would take it your very good at it. I like japanese they have great food. Chocolate covered crickets rock! Who was the relative? If you don't mind me asking."

Hyperactive as ever, Amber thought to herself while keeping meditated through double-stitching. He spoke about chocolate covered crickets and japanese food...and she could only wonder what the hell was he even talking about. Then he had asked about the relative, the one who taught her to sew.
That gathered a bodily response from the half-angel, her hands folded on her lap on top of the hat and she glanced over at him with that eerily calm expression on her face.
"A relative of my half-sister's. I'm not comfortable speaking about her. Besides..."
Amber bowed her head, her finger caressing the red velvety cross.

"Oh I'm sorry for your lost," he said with a bit of sadness in his voice.
She never mentioned a sister, then again he didn't know about the relative either. There was a lot of things he didn't know about the half-angel. The familiar vagueness of meeting new people and getting to know them. Still trying to make some attempt at small talk and to get over the vaguness he asked, "You have a half-sister? What is she like?"
He was hoping it didn't dredge up any other bad elements of her past.

Amber would continue to stitch up the little nurse hat. The needle pricked her finger and yet she made barely a wince; instead she popped her finger into her mouth for a moment and glanced over her shoulder at him again. The effect was undeniably cute.
"She had troubles, so she came to stay with us."
It was probably the most she had ever said concerning her life, especially to an angel. Lucian was proving more and more to truly not know about her plight, her sins, her troubles. It didn't mean she fully trusted him yet, but she was slowly lowering her barriers.

That sounded slightly familiar to him for some odd reason. It mad him feel a slight bit envious she had a half-sister always wanted a little brother himself. He had a lot of friends, but there was just something about family like using something percious you never had, yet thought about having.
A smile would be given to her cute expression. It was the type of cute you just wanted to go awww! "Well, we all have our troubles. I would continue on, but I would risk the chance of sounding like a after-school special." Lucian said coyly.
