Well, its the weekend here at MHS. Wouldn't it be great if all schools started on a Friday for the first day of school. What a way to start off. You get a weekend right after your first day. Well, this is because we are done with the first day of class. How so you ask. As you only went to one class. yes, but I am sure that doing the same thing for each class would get boring. So the one class you experienced is basically how all the classes are going to be.
Teacher posts role. Day gets started, end of class happens, everyone goes to their next class, or home..
Well, ezboard still hasn't confirmed anything on a final date when everything is changed over to Yuku. And we are working on what to do next. We all want user friendliness after everything is changed away from Ezbaord, and we are trying everything we can to ensure that we have just that when we are at a new board hosting site.
We have a guest book. Take a look. If you haven't taken a look yet, be sure and do so. ^_^

Rooftops (V/open)
What an awkward place to be napping, the roof. So many problems with it. It was the first portion of the school to get snowed on, the worst place in case of a tornado, and it seemed to be a place for the school's shady dealings (what shady dealings were conducted on campus that is). It couldn't possibly be comfortable, mud made of gravel bits and rain water forming on the ground, pidgeon poop staining the ledges, rust forming on the pipes. In no way was this an ideal or pleasant place to be this time of year.
And yet, if you looked to the west end, you'd see him. Possibly the only clean portion of the structure, a young man lay outstretched on the ledge. Snow white loafers crossed at the ankles, light khaki linen suit pants, hooded sweatshirt with an array of palm trees on the chest with the hood pulled over the hair, this was obviously a planned nap.
The young man asleep didn't seem aware of the danger presented should he roll the wrong direction, or perhaps he was aware and simply confident enough in his balance.
What could be going through his head? A dream of a free fall would prove terrible in the end, but it couldn't exactly be pleasant up here on the roof, could it?
Viva la Coolie!
What an awkward place to rest your elbows, on the edge of the muddy, gravelled roof. Yet, that is where V's elbows are. From the roof, she is an apparition: elbows on the edge, elegant pianist's fingers curled into fists, pointed chin resting on those fists, hair a-float and a-fall all a-tumble round her shoulders, a glory of gold. Until the roof's edge, which is where the sight of her becomes problematic, because there's nothing over the roof's edge except for, well, air. And she can't float.
The roof has seen more than its fair share of trials and tribulations; strictly speaking, of course, that statement isn't true. Firstly, the roof doesn't really have eyes. Secondly, the roof has been re-constructed quite a few times; pieces have been lost; gone away.
Less apt to be noticed, and less apt to be used, the fire-escape which spills from a few feet below the roof's edge, down, down, down. It is rackety, and rusty, and unstable, and half-concealed by trees and its own ugly nakedness, half-broken at the bottom, which makes it a rather ineffective fire-escape - more like a fire-trap.
Still, one can get onto it from the fourth floor, and go up, and after plain ol' metal stairs, it becomes plain' ol metal rungs, and she's standing on one of these, and she's gazing very thoughtfully at the sleeping young man, who is on the other side of the roof.
"He seems fine. I don't think he'll fall," she murmurs, to herself. It is a bad habit, that talking to herself.

Re: Rooftops (V/open)
Abby skipped up the stairs to floor five, previously being down on floor three where her 'bed' was. She stopped at Sakura's door and peered in lightly. Looking into the room, it seemed that her sister wasn't around, so Abby would have to find someone else to hang around with. She closed the door and was about to go back down the stairs when she wondered something. What if those other stairs took people to the moon? Well, if they could then Abby wanted to check it out.
Running through down the hallway, Abby turned at the stairway and ran up, jumping every second step. When she made it to the top, Abby appeared on the roof in a triumphant stance. " I have made it to the moon!" She explained, her voice filling with pride. The strange youngster was dressed in a spider man shirt, a rainbow coloured skirt that reached her knees, the usual black tights and bright yellow leg warmers. Her shoes were a fluro green colour. She was, like always, wearing the collar around her neck that was given to her by Sakura. On her head was a fireman's hat. Today her blonde hair was brushed, something Sakura had a habit of making her do.
Looking around, Abby soon realised that something was very strange about 'the moon' that she thought she'd found. " Wow, the moon's pretty dull. No wonder aliens shipped out onto our planet!" She commented. There were a couple of students around, one in particular she recognised. Abby ran over to him, but he seemed to be sleeping, or dead! " DARRIEN!!" She called happily. " Are you alive or dead or sleeping or just sitting there or are you really sleepy cause if you are why don't you go to your room if you have one." The amber eyed youngster said, running her sentences together into one.

Re: Rooftops (V/open)
Peaceful slumber one moment, a rush. The spide of random awakeness the next. Darrien's hood covered head snapped up from its resting place, and he began to look around. For a breif second he caught sight of V, but that certainly wasn't her voice. From what he knew of her, she wasn't one to yell under any circumstance, much less assume his sleeping form to be dead on the ledge of the roof.
Then, he spun his head around and saw her. The last time her hands were covered in paint, which detracted from the alarming way she'd dressed at the mall. This time, Darrien caught a full glimpse of her in the unusual get up. He first saw her spiderman shirt, then a rainbow skirt.
It was the helmet that threw him over the edge, figuratively and literally. His eyes grew wide, then he tipped backwards from the wake up shock of having heard her voice, then seeing the way she was dressed on the canvas of stars that was the twilight background.
When he fell, his reaction was quick as always. Swinging his arms up, he caught the ledge with both hands and made an effort to pull himself up. One problem, most of his muscles still wanted to be asleep. The exertion of energy when he swung his arms up to catch himself was all he could muster at the moment. Not even a cry for help could be audibalized. "Mmmmrrf." was all he managed to eek out as he clung for dear life, hoping someone would hear him and at help him back onto the rooftop.

Re: Rooftops (V/open)
The night was clear, too perfect to sleep through. The air was cold but refreshing, there was no wind to tease it’s mischievous fingers through unsuspecting hair, and there not a cloud in sight. Stella had arranged a stargazing expedition with Saori, and as she pushed the door leading out onto the roof she sighed with contentment. As she stepped out into the open, her skin began to glow a soft silver, her hair positive luminescent.
Under one arm Stella carried a large soft blanket, recalling the roof was not the cleanest spot in school. There was a second smaller one rolled inside the soft blue folds, in case her companion should find the air too chilly. Stella was well wrapped up, her white coat hanging down to mid-shin.
She had seen the sleeper, and while his choice of area was a little precarious, Stella assumed that, as he had chosen such a spot, he must have great confidence in his balance. She had laid the rug out a little way from him, not wanting to disturb him as she waited for Saori. Then what appeared to be a rainbow hued whirlwind rushed out, loudly proclaiming to have landed on the moon. Stella smiled to herself, almost laughing as the girl turning to the sleeping man.
“DARRIEN!!" She called happily. " Are you alive or dead or sleeping or just sitting there or are you really sleepy cause if you are why don't you go to your room if you have one.”
This Darrien’s reaction to being addressed so was not amusing however. As he rolled over towards the edge, Stella was quickly on her feet, moving quickly over. When he disappeared from view she gasped, but saw to her amazement, fingers still gripping the edge. Quickly she knelt, reaching over to grasp him under the arms, and pulled back. Stella knew she was not particularly strong, so she simply prayed that he didn’t weight too much.

Re: Rooftops (V/open)
The night was clear and beautiful, yes. Yet Saori was severely disappointed with the weather tonight; there was no wind to speak of, no gentle breeze blowing over and through the young girl. It was supposed to be her refuge, her escape; she felt comfortable with the wind like no other entity she'd ever met in her life. That is, no other except for one...
Saori followed her idol up the stairs to the roof. As the girl wandered along behind Stella, there was a smile on her face, and her big, innocent eyes were actually filled with happiness as she looked up at her friend with admiration. Stella was the first person she'd met, with the exception of her brothers, who had ever protected her...and she'd done so after barely knowing her! Her emerald eyes sparkled as she remembered the day.
When they reached the roof, Saori reached out and cutely grasped the hem of Stella's shirt, tugging gently to get her attention. If Stella were to look down, Saori would smile up at her, and then point up at the sky happily. Her big eyes wandered across the black space that surrounded them, taking in the beautiful sight of the bright lights that specked through it.
"Look, sissy! Isn't it pretty?"
But before she could say any more, she heard a voice behind her. She, and apparently Stella as well, were both distracted by this voice...but obviously in very different ways. Where Stella laughed, Saori let out a squeak of surprise and jumped, moving quickly behind her idol for protection. Both hands clung to Stella's arms, and she pressed herself against the girl out of fear, as she peered around Stella's side to look at the one who'd surprised them.
And then, Darrien fell from the roof! Saori had not noticed him before now, but when the new arrival had focused her attention on him, the wind mage had turned her eyes to see him. When she saw he was in danger, she really began to shiver. She wanted to help, but she was of no use! Most wind mages should be able to use their abilities to lift Darrien to safety; but Saori had never been any good at what she did, relatively. And thus, she had no self-confidence; the only time she ever felt good about herself was when she was around Stella.
She shook, as she placed her hands on her cheeks. Oh, how she wanted to help! But at the same time, she was afraid: afraid of getting in the way....afraid that, if she failed, she'd be teased for it! Even worse, people might blame her for it!! By this point, tears were welling up in her eyes, she felt about to burst out crying from the pressure...
And then, Stella jumped in to save the day. Saori watched as her idol tried to pull Darrien up...but Saori was pretty sure that, no matter how amazing her friend was, Stella did not have super strength. Now, she was not only worried for Darrien, but for her most beloved friend as well!
Also, seeing Stella's bravery for the second time put a new fire in her heart.... Saori wanted to be just like Stella, and to do so, she'd need to be courageous! She wiped her arm across her face to brush the tears from her eyes, and took in a deep breath. Then, she held out her arms, and closed her eyes tightly, too afraid to watch....
The wind picked up beneath Darrien, even though there was none anywhere else. It blew gently, then harder, ruffling up his clothes and beginning to lift him up. It wasn't really enough to support Darrien in itself; Saori could lift people who had wings, like herself, but the dead weight of a body wasn't easy for her. Still, it gave enough help that Stella would now be able to pull Darrien up onto the roof with ease...

Re: Rooftops (V/open)
And things happen very quickly. Two students appear, in what seems to be rapid fire succession, and Darrien goes falling off the edge of the roof, after their eyes meet for the briefest of seconds. Ah, light, luminous V; as soon as Darrien disappears, adrenaline brings her off of the (enter, Ruby) fire-escape, fully onto the roof (and there, the wind picks up)...
But the situation is under control, again. "You were wrong," she says, very quietly. Usually, she wouldn't have whispered-- not at that point, with people around, who could hear her. But she couldn't resist.

Re: Rooftops (V/open)
Darrien's grip remained firm, yet his strength had taken much longer to return to his arms than he'd hoped. He hung for the briefest of seconds, failing at another attempt to pull himself back to the comfortable side of the ledge. Then, it all happened.
Stella, whom he vaguely recognized from passes by, never having actually met, caught his arms and offered a counterbalance so that he wouldn't tip over. Enter Saori, the quirky little wind girl whom Darrien had met on many occasions. Prior to tonight, he'd only seen her use her command over the gentlest of the savage elements in defense. Quite impressed he was, and quite relieved.
As if the envoy of helpers wasn't enough, the smallest of them charged his way up the stairs and through the door, left open by our latest arrivals. Not small in the way Saori is, but comprably small cross-species. Sir Artemis Howell (quite a mouthful for such a little fella) charged in for the rescue. Or rather, juct charged in, as the rescue was in progress.
He'd foreseen something hazy, something along the lines of a young man tipping over the ledge. He hadn't seen the others on the roof, which brought him a little releif in that he wasn't going to have to try and pull the boy up himself (although he would have, with limited success). Feeling a little left out, he charged forward and gripped the back of her coat in his little jaw. In a scene straight from a disney film, he started back peddling, giving a little extra strength to the work in progress.
On the other end of all this, Darrien felt himself being raised back to reality. It was a surreal experience, realizing your life was in the balance. His grip would have surely given way at some point, and he didn't know what he'd have done from there.
With the combonation of forces working together, Darrien was pulled back. His upper body now lay pressed against the ledge, and suddenly his strength returned. With the effortlessness he was accustomed to, he swung his legs back up and over and found a sitting position.
Looking through his saviors, he smirked to himself as he saw the little fire cracker that startled him initially. "Miss Anderson, lovely seeing you as always." His words were spoken with a tone not induced by the predicament he was just in, amazingly enough, he seemed unfazed by the whole ordeal.
Eyes then traveled to Stella, with whom he'd not yet been formally introduced. "Seems you've come to the rescue.." he reached and took her hand in his "..and not a moment too soon." The look in his eyes could melt stone, Darrien's charm hadn't been affected by the scare either.
Releasing Stella's hand, he turned to Saori, who was cowering somewhat behind the other girl. Extending his hand out in front of him, he smiled a genuine smile (yeah, he can do that too!) and spoke softly. "And if it isn't Whisper. Always a pleasure to be in your company, who's your friend here?"
Passed everyone else, along the fire escape, he caught sight of another. Her golden features stood out against the starry night backdrop (now that's a cool painting, but has nothing to do with posting this, so I'll leave it at that <.<) leaving the unmistakable impression of who she was. "Why miss Genevieve, it's been too long since I've seen your golden locks." (yeah, been watching Rome, I like how they talk >.>)
Not to be left out of the greetings, Sir Artemis ran up and dove into Darrien's lap. Thankfully, he was small and weighed only around twelve pounds, so his force didn't send Darrien over once again. Scratching behind an ear, master made pet feel better than ever. "You're supposed to be asleep downstairs."
All was well once again, now the star filled sky could retrun once more to being the center of attention, as it so rightfully deserved.

Re: Rooftops (V/open)
When Darrien went over the ledge, a grin came to Abby's face. He was hanging over it, and didn't seem to be trying to get up. What a fun game! She moved over and held onto the ledge, bringing one leg up onto it as if she was going to climb over herself. And she was! She wanted in on this weird game Darrien was playing. " I wanna play too! Wait for me!" She called happily, just about to jump over the edge.
But then a girl she didn't know ran over to try and help him, so maybe he wasn't playing. Abby removed her foot from the ledge and watched as the two girls saved him from falling. When it seemed that he was alright, Abby looked over to Darrien when he addressed her.
"Miss Anderson, lovely seeing you as always."
She pointed to him with both hands. " Horray! You won!" Abby called, proving that she still believed his near fall was part of some game. Abby then quietly watched his interaction between the two girls, and apparently one of them was called whisper! " You're name's Whisper? That is soooo cool!" Abby commented, pointing to the girl with the green hair.
Wait a second, green hair? And the other girl had white hair? Was she really old or something? She didn't look old, but the whole thing seemed like something to investigate.
Then it hit her. Aliens! They were, after all, on the moon. It made perfect sense to Abby now. She ran up and hugged to the closest person, and it just happened to be Stella. " Wow! You guys are aliens! That's even cooler!!" She explained. With a grin Abby looked up at Stella. " You're hair is WHITE!! That's totally AWESOME!!! Does it mean that your a really old alien?" She asked curiously.
Rooftops (V/open)
The situation was looking quite serious, when suddenly Stella’s hair was blown back from her face as the wind started to blow. Feeling it push up against Darrien, Stella pulled a little harder, her face set. She almost lost her grip when she felt something pulling at her, yet did not see anybodies arms around her. The tugging sensation was coming from her lower back… how odd. With a final effort, Stella pulled with all her might, almost falling back when the upper body of the boy suddenly popped into view.
He seemed to be very calm about the situation, and did not seem to be injured. Stella breathed a soft sigh of relief, her eyes slowly changing from dull grey to their natural blue. The boy, now with some sort of companion on his lap, addressed the very brightly coloured gril, who, on closer inspection, appeared to be wearing a fireman’s hat.
<"Miss Anderson, lovely seeing you as always."
"Horray! You won!">
Won? What did she mean? Was this some sort of game that she had unknowingly stepped into? And what had been pulling at her? She turned to Saori, smiling thankfully at the girl. She was about to speak when Darrien turned to her.
<"Seems you've come to the rescue..">
Stella started slightly when Darrien took her hand. She looked down at it, then up at him, a little surprised. She was still alight under the stars, and her hand illuminated his from within, giving it a slight pink glow.
<"..and not a moment too soon.">
A slight pink began to infuse Stella’s cheeks, and she ducked her head. He really did not seem at all shocked.
“I am glad I could help, and that you are not hurt.”
She managed to reply, looking back up. Then the bright girl began to talk rather loudly at Saori. Stella was about to go to her friend when suddenly a pair of arms wrapped around her. She looked down, her face showing her shock. It was the fireman hat wearing girl. She moved so fast!
<"Wow! You guys are aliens! That's even cooler!!>
Stella looked down at the girl, for a moment at a loss at what to say. Then she laughed, her voice light.
“Saori and I are not aliens, well, at least Saori is not.” Stella said, smiling. “I could be. I really don’t know. I do not think so though, I think my uncle might have mentioned that small fact to me.”
<"You're hair is WHITE!! That's totally AWESOME!!! Does it mean that your a really old alien?">
Stella laughed again, this time for a little longer. She patted Abby’s shoulder, not quite sure about hugging the girl just yet. She had only just met her, and not really been introduced.
“It is, isn’t it? But I’m not that old. Only 16. It’s just always been white, even when I was a baby.”
Stella looked over to Saori, hoping all the yelling wasn’t upsetting her. But Abby was still clinging to her, and she didn’t think she could walk with a girl hanging around her waist.
Re: Rooftops (V/open)
Darrien made it onto the roof, and Saori was able to let her concentration fade. The wind died down around the small group, and the girl took a few steps back, trying to avoid the limelight. Fortunately for her, it seemed that Darrien and Stella were the ones with the majority of the focus on them; Saori watched for a moment, hands clutched together in front of her chest, with a shy look on her face.
And then, finally, she was noticed. Darrien spoke to her, smiled to her, acknowledged her. A blush formed on her cheeks, and she lowered her eyes to the floor nervously. Darrien didn't scare her like others did, but she was still a little nervous around him. She slowly slipped closer to Stella, a hand clutching the older girl's sleeve as if it would help save her, and she lifted her other hand to press a curled index finger against her lip, adding to the look of shyness.
"Th-this is....sissy," She looked up at her idol with big admiring eyes, and saw Stella's smile directed towards her. It made her heart fill with joy to see her favorite person smiling to her.....someone actually cared for her! Now, as she looked back towards Darrien, there was actually a small smile on her face.
And then, she noticed over Darrien's shoulder, V was standing behind him! A deeper blush formed on her cheeks, as she remembered the girl from the time at the lake. V, with her long golden locks, so very pretty.....and then she looked down at the ground, and slipped more behind Stella, hoping not to be seen. V might be pretty, and she might have acknowledged Saori before....but there was no way she would again! And if she did, what would Saori do? Her lips curled into a small, slightly worried frown.
" You're name's Whisper? That is soooo cool!"
Suddenly, she heard her "nickname." But it wasn't Darrien's voice! Cheeks filled with a deep crimson, Saori peered around from behind Stella, to see the crazy girl pointing straight at her. Immediately, her eyes shot wide open; and as Abby continued speaking, and even ran up to hug Stella, the smaller girl let out a loud squeak of surprise mixed with fear. She ducked behind her protector, clutching tight to the back of Stella's shirt, and pressing her body against the older girl, eyes shut tight in an attempt to disappear.
She could still feel the scary girl's presence...and then, Saori felt Abby's hand brush against her! A loud squeal escaped from the wind mage, and she staggered backwards a bit, shivering, a balled up hand pressed against her mouth. Without Stella to protect her, what would she do?
What could she do?

Look. The roof is full of teenagers, and each has a story; each story has a teenager, and each teenager is part of a story that has nothing to do with their own story. Look. They're connected by stories, which is to say, the luck of the draw, by fate, by chance; it all serves a purpose, yes? Just look.
Best kept secret at MHS (which isn't, granted, very difficult) is the lovely, proud girl's sense of humor. As Darrien is swarmed by girlish (and doggish!) saviors, the righthand corner of her mouth curves up; a brief impulse, and unnoticed, and bright. She folds her arms over her chest, and although she didn't immediately disappear, she doesn't join the group, either. Groups, loud and boisterous, and Genevieve? They've never mixed.
"Why, Darrien," she replies, tipping her chin up, slightly, which dislodges a strand of implausibly gold, gold, gold hair and causes it to dance across her throat, over her shoulder, down her back, follow the curve, follow, follow ... "You hold court just like a prince."
Oh, yes. She's all cool composure, all effortless distance. Genevieve, ruffled? A cold day somewhere that doesn't get cold days before that happens, right? Still, hyperactive Abby gets a half-opaque (perplexed) look, when she hugs the girl who glitters like stars. V takes a step backwards, backwards toward the fire-escape (because she is not for crowds, no), even as the achingly shy wind-mage squeals and recoils from behind Stella, stepping out of that girl's faint glow and into... Well, the line of sight.
V's eyebrows draw together, and she says, "Saori? What happened?"

Re: Rooftops (V/open)
Abby was boisterous as always, thinking his near death experience was but a game and all. Had she gotten a chance to "play" too, none could know what would happen. Surely the heroic trio of the shimmering girl, the wind mage, and the wonder pup wouldn't have been able to defeat gravity once more, would they? Best not to find out.
Saori announced the shimmering girl to be "sissy", which piqued Darrien's interest. He was unaware of the girl's siblings. In fact, he was unaware of quite a lot about the little girl, only her name, and a stinging sensation in his chest whenever they were near one another.
Before he had a chance to address "sissy", Abby began acting like herself. True as fate would have it, Saori's uncharacteristic bravery was offset by the extremely characteristic hyper-activity of the fire fighter. It appeared harmless, the little girl was clinging to the shining one, but then something a little strange happened.
Not strange in its occurrence, strange in its timing. Saori let out a squeal that could have meant any number of things (she was much like Sir Artemis that way, you couldn't tell whether they were hungry or frightened, yet you'd almost always plan for the prior). It appeared Abby had brushed against her, no small offense by Saroi's account, and the elicited reaction was easily foreseen.
As if they shared a wave length, Sir Artemis dove out of Darrien's lap to the rescue. With the speed of a llama, (yeah, not the fastest, but you definately notice them coming o.o) he darted off toward Abby and began rubbing his snout along her ankles, seeking a bit of play from her, and diverting her away from Saori to boot.
Darrien stood up, now that his lap was free, and looked around the roof. "Sissy was it? I'm Darrien, pleasurably making your aquaintance." he smirked coyly. It truly was frightening to see what he could do to a crowd.
He then turned toward V. There she was, tongue barbed with wit and sarcasm as always. "Better as a prince than a jester, wouldn't you agree my dear? Far too long since we last parted ways, I was beginning to think you'd forgotten about me." A wink, same smirk as before, and a slight ruffling of the shoulders. No visible effect of the trauma he'd just endured remained, if there had been any in the first place.

Re: Rooftops (V/open)“Saori and I are not aliens, well, at least Saori is not.”...“I could be. I really don’t know. I do not think so though, I think my uncle might have mentioned that small fact to me.”
Letting go of Stella with one hand, Abby pointed to the ground below them. " But you have to be an alien! We're on the moon! There has to be an alien around here somewhere!" She explained, genuine confusion in her voice as well as her eyes. But no matter how confused Abby was, there was always a bright smile on her face.
“It is, isn’t it? But I’m not that old. Only 16. It’s just always been white, even when I was a baby.”
It seemed to be now that Abby realised the girl she was clinging to was glowing. " Hey! Look at that, you glow!! Is that your power? I wanna glow too!!" She explained, running her sentences together due to her excitement. But there was reason to be excited. This girl was glowing! And it seemed to draw in all Abby's attention and make her forget about the other alien.
"Why, Darrien, You hold court just like a prince."
Abby looked over to Darrien, and with her free hand, she pointed at him. " You're a prince! That's way cool!!" She called. Apparently, Abby missed most of what was said. The only two words she really heard were 'Darrien' and 'Prince' and put the two together. Suddenly, something cold touched against her ankle. Looking down, Abby saw Sir Artemis beside her. She squealed with joy, forgetting about the 'alien' she had been clinging to, and jumped down onto the floor.
" Hey, remember me?" She asked, before poking its nose lightly to remind the dog in case he'd forgotten. Abby rolled backwards twice, moving away from Stella's feet so she could play with the dog more. Now down low on the ground, Abby got into the pouncing position and watched the dog, as if waiting to see which would strike first.

Stella was feeling a little uncomfortable, having two people so close to her. Well aware of how frightening Saori found strangers, being hugged by one girl and clutched by another was unsettling her greatly. There were just too many people, too close, too much. Then Saori shirked. Instinctively Stella tried to turn around and look after her friend, but her arms were still effectively shackled by Abby’s embrace.
"But you have to be an alien! We're on the moon! There has to be an alien around here somewhere!"
“Well, I…” Stella looked around, completely confounded. The moon? Did anyone know what she was talking about? Stella’s eyes began to grey again as her bewilderment and the urgency to reassure Saori grew.
“Hey! Look at that, you glow!! Is that your power? I wanna glow too!!"
Even though she was well aware of this fact, Stella looked down at herself with mild surprise.
“Yes, I do. It’s not a power, just… something that happens.”
Then suddenly the girl who had so enthusiastically hugged her detached and leapt down to play with the dog at her feet. Free, Stella took Saori’s hand in hers, smiling reasuingly down at the small girl.
"Sissy was it? I'm Darrien, pleasurably making your aquaintance."
“I'm just Stella to most people,” She explained, still smiling. “And it is a pleasure to meet you.”
It was then Stella noticed the third girl on the roof, a female with the most beautiful hair she’d ever seen. She was slightly familiar… perhaps the girl who had been with Saori when Stella had first briefly met them. Not sure if she would remember Stella, she gave a small wave, still smiling. So many people! but it was best to keep her composure, for Saori’s sake at least.
She had moved out into the line of sight. No longer was Stella hiding the small, shy girl from view, no longer could she avoid being seen. Not to mention, she'd drawn attention to herself with the squeal. When Saori lifted her big, emerald eyes, full of nervousness, to see who'd spoken those words, she immediately began shivering with embarrassment. It was V! V had actually noticed her, spoken to her, possibly had some concern for her!
Now, with most people, when someone as pretty and (in Saori's mind) popular as V spoke to them, it was a reason to be happy. For Saori, this was only one of two conflicting emotions raging within her; the other was obviously fear. While the young girl actually felt like someone important for once, even getting a small boost in her self-confidence, the seemingly innate fear within her would not go away. What did this mean? What should she do now? She didn't want to ruin this! Shivering nervously, she had both hands clasped to her chest, eyes wide as she looked up at V, all of these emotions apparent in the very Saori-like look she gave.
And then, she felt something slip into her hand...something warm, which then enclosed around it comfortingly. Saori lifted her eyes to Stella, and saw the smile on her face. The older girl had once again found a way to make Saori feel better; it seemed as long as she was there, the young wind mage had nothing to worry about. Nervously, she entwined her fingers into Stella's, her free hand reaching out to grasp a bit of her idol's shirt as she pressed herself closer to her friend, seeking protection in a very younger-sister-like fashion.
"Oh, uhhm..." She blushed, as she looked back up at V. "I...j-just...g-got a little scared..." It was strange, but she was slowly becoming more and more able to speak her mind, thanks to the people here who had accepted her... Still, she couldn't help but be nervous around strangers; and with V, it was a whole different kind of nervous!! She wanted more than anything at that moment for the pretty blonde girl to like her, to want to talk to her; but at the same time, she felt so scared to talk to her! What was this strange feeling?

Ask, then: Doubt, what? That he could be forgotten? That it’s better to be a prince, than a jester? Just don’t expect an answer. Genevieve, ever serious, turns her gaze from Darrien, to his chihuahua, which Abby has locked eyes with. This is a natural progression—since Abby is the one who frightened Saori.
Rests it there for a moment, contemplative. Then her gaze lifts again to Saori; a nod. She doesn’t say anything else, because she doesn’t want to embarrass the timid girl. To Stella, catching the glistering twinkle of her fingers—and of course she remembers Stella. Not every rainy night you meet somebody who shines like a star.

Re: Rooftops (V/open)
When Abby assumed her poncing position, Sir Artemis had a quick flashback. Rather than pouncing on her, he rolled onto his back and began kicking his paws in the air, mimicing her kangaroo gesture from the mall. He did this for a brief moment, then rolled back to his feet.
As with any small puppy, he enjoyed the company of people. The nearest person aside from Abby just so happened to be the shy, quiet girl with the green hair. Knowing full well how uncomfortable it makes one feel when they are put into a situation without warning, he strolled up to her feet slowly. When he was upon her, he nuzzled his snout on the exposed skin of her ankle. Careful not to alarm her, he then sat down, waiting to see what she'd do next.
" You're a prince! That's way cool!!"
Well, you had to give her some credit. Darrien had princelike qualities. He commanded attention with a simple gesture, he came from a bit of money, he could even be the heir to a rather lucrative corporation, provided his father acknowledged him. "Not in the sense you're thinking of Abby, but we ar in the pressance of a knight." He motioned to the puppy, who was now sitting patiently at the feet of the skittish girl.
"And it appears our knight has chosen himself a maiden." he smirked sweetly toward Saori when he spoke. She was an odd duck, especially for this school. Most of the kids here had a spark of adventure to them, an interest in everything around them, and a way of conversing with the other students. In his limited experience with the wind mage, her social graces seemed a little, under-developed? Most would react to this with words of ridicule and abandonment, this was high school afterall, but the populis atop the roof seemed to have taken a more inviting approach. Darrien, Stella, and V had taken steps to befriend the girl, and Abby wasn't one to offer ridcule to anyone.
“I'm just Stella to most people,” “And it is a pleasure to meet you.”
Humility, that was the first on a list of qualities Darrien lacked in an uncanny abundance. Stella on the other hand, seemed to have more than enough to go around. "Well, I'd hardly reduce it to 'just Stella'. It's lovely to see little Whisper has taken to someone so gentle as yourself." You wouldn't know by the tone of his voice, but he was genuinely happy that someone had taken the time away from their busy life to spend time with her.
“I doubt that’s possible, Darrien.”
V's voice, cool, crisp, pointed as always. She spoke so rarely at length that anyone that knew her would know she never wasted words. Each she spoke was placed carefully, if crypticly in her sentances. "As do I love, as do I." The words flow through Darrien like the calm river, not even altering his tone when that four letter, often misinterpreted bit of vernacular escaped.
While the six pointed conversation (yes, the dog counts too) continued, the sky began to twist and churn. It was mid-evening by now, and they were in upstate New York. The weather was lovely in its predictability, but terrible with its timing.

When Arty rolled onto his back, Abby followed his actions. And when the dog rolled back up, Abby followed his actions once more, and sat up straight. With amber eyes filled with curiosity and child like innocence, Abby stared at the dog, tilting her head to the side slightly as she awaited its next move.
"Not in the sense you're thinking of Abby, but we are in the pressance of a knight."
As Darrien spoke to her, he received the blonde's full attention. She listened carefully to what he was saying, or at least she tried to. Unfortunately, all that ran through her was Darrien dressed up as a Prince, sitting on a throne much like what she had seen in children's movies. After he spoke, Abby raised one hand and opened her mouth to reply, but was distracted when she realised that the dog had left her side.
" Hey..." She said, her voice quieter than usual as she looked around for the dog. But there it was, right in front of that alien girl! A smile reached Abby's face once more as she began to crawl over to them. Then suddenly, she stopped, and sat with her legs stretched out before her. After a moment, Abby fell back onto the roof, her head resting in her hands. " Whheeeeeewww plonk!" She said, making her own sound effects to her actions.
Re: Rooftops (V/open)
Sakura moved up the stairs her foot steps were a little bit louder than normal. Her spike heels made more sound than flats. She wore a tight black skirt with purple pinstriping, her shirt was a tight sweater with a very low v cut. She had ehr hair down but wore a hat with a wide brim and a veil. She had her lips painted a dark purple and her eyes a smokey black. She was hoping to find a nice quiet place to use her phone to call Talon.
She walked to the door that led tot he roof and looked down at her ohone. She began to dial his home number, her left hand pushed the door open. She moved out to the roof, she doesn't even look up as she places the phoone to her ear.
* ring ring ring*
She looks up her green eyes fall to the one she had hoped never to see again. The long hair and air of cold bitch it was truly her.
