SAY YOU DO is NEXT SINGLE for INVERTIGO
Invertigo.com.au is pleased to announce that due to the success of Desensitized and Chances Are, Invertigo will be releasing a third single called 'Say You Do' in April. We would welcome any thoughts posted on 'Say You Do' as a single.

FORUM will now be released over June/July to coincide with their debut release in the US. All of this activity will no doubt be sparking a lot of conversation points and raising a lot of questions which can be discussed in this forum. What better way to answer all of these than with the guys themselves in the next installment of our chat room... INVERTIGO WEBCHAT 2 coming early April!

I heard a few seconds of Say You Do and I loved, I can't wait for it to be released. I can't wait for Forum either, it's been a long wait since the release of Desensitized.
To anyone that's reading this remember, INVERTIGO ROCK 4EVA!!!

Man, i was really looking forward to the release of Forum.. but if i must, i guess i can wait an extra month or two, but no more! lol. :\

I hope Say you do does well cos it's a great song and i like the guitar bits (although i still think that key change is out of place :| ).

Say You Do
I love the song Say You Do, have had since the first time i heard it. It's a different style of song compared to some of their more rock songs. I think it will do quite well in the charts...

Although i do believe they should have released Man Enough as the next single..It's more catchy, and more the style of music that the guys are trying to put across.

Roll on April and the release of Say You Do....

We all need something new to listen to.

Cheers

Re: SAY YOU DO is NEXT SINGLE for INVERTIGO
well i think one word sums up the release date being pushed back to june/july.....

bullshit

how much longer does the record company think they can string the fans along???? we need an album!

so they're waiting so in coincides with the u.s. release..

good to see where their loyalties lie....

just my 2 cents.....any thoughts???

Say You Do
Do you want our honest and constructive opinions??

I went to a gig on the 31st of March and listened especially to "Say You Do" and I couldn't stop singing it the next day....but...it annoyed the HELL out of me!!!!

Definitely not my favourite song, but that's not saying it's necessarilly a bad choice. Sometimes the most annoying songs do annoyingly well..."Who Let The Dogs Out?" Who really cares!!

Just being honest! Don't attack me!

Say You Do - as 3rd single
Here's my 2cents:

Firstly: Kate, i think you're quite right in saying that catchy songs can be effective. Oftentimes we see that annoyingly repeptitive & "addictive" songs have a tendency to reach number one in our ARIA charts.
Case in point: Baha Men "Who Let The Dogs Out", Vengaboys & more
But that's not to say that these songs are crap, they are just highly effective in the pop music industry due to their nature of being irritatingly good OR bad.

Secondly: Vince, i don't think it's right to say that the record company has loyalties lying overseas. We must take into consideration that this is a COMMERCIAL industry, whereby everybody is out to make $$$$$. Australia does not produce the record sales & subsequent $$$ turnover that America does.

AAAAAAAAND why not expand the fanbase internationally???? I think that representation of Australia through music ought to be promoted. We have such amazing talent, and why not show it off to the rest of the world??

Plus, we as fans, rarely know the complexities that go on BEHIND THE SCENES when it comes to making a CD/record. We ought to be grateful that we have had 2 successful releases, with some solid touring to support the singles.

More power to the band for staying faithful to their fans too, by keeping us all informed of the progression of "Forum" -- thanks Invertigo & Glenn!!!!

I can understand that the wait seems like forever,
but patience is a virtue!!!! :)

Lotsa love & music industry shtuff

Re; Say You Do
Caz: don't get me wrong!!! I'm not at all comparing "Say You Do" to say "The Hampster Dance!!" At least "Say You Do" is a well-written song with, you know, actual melodic lines and chordal progressions featuring more than just I's and V's, it just really annoys me!!! :D

And I'm sorry, but "Who Let The Dogs Out" really IS just CRAP!!!!!!! Also, there really is no excuse for the Vengaboys. Someone is responsible for them, and they really should have known better!!
