There is now, Me and a few frinds who recently attended the Shanks-Judge signing in Swindon deiceded there needed to be a structured club so that all thoes who are like minded about costuming as we are had a central command as such to help not only pool resources for Kit and techniques, but also by having a club with a basic structure would help arrange event attendance and alike.
This mainly comes from the fact me and my friends who should be joining here shortly are all members of the UK Garrison (501st), the UK largest Star Wars costume club (This Club will be in no way officially connected to the UKG) with about 100 members and have found having an organised club with a few minor rules (In the members best interests), gives a very profession look and this can often lead to many great oppertunities. Also it leads to alot of good frinds and alot of laughs.
All we'll be asking to become a full member is that you own atleast 1 full stargate costume of good quality (To avoide tin foil and bog roll Jaffa etc ). Just send a full front and back pic to be cleared, but if at the moment you don't have a full costume but one's in progress/planning your more than welcome to post here ask question come and be a helper for other members at events and alike.
At the moment me and the others are just trying to iron out the final details, then I'll be getting a website set up for it and all that Jazz and away we go.
So if anyone is a costume nut out there and they feel this club may be for them show your interest here and feel free to put forward any sujestion info you think may help the club out.

Lee you can count me in. Im trying to think if I have a rear veiw of my costume but I have plenty of the front, including ones in front of Wolf's Stargate and the one with the 4 of us in costume with Don Davis.
I'll be back in the UK in May and can take more photo's then if needed (I also need to finish off my Red Gaurd costume too at some point).

Well your in , and James too if he wants , I've seen enough pics of you & James SG gear and seeing the quality of your other costumes in person have no doubt there good.
In a few months time when I hope to have a few more £ I'll be making a site for the SGCC for pics, info etc etc.
Glad to see you here, even if you are stuck in Oz but look forward to seeing you in May, I can't remember any events happening then but I'd still like to try catch you whilst your here
I'm certainly interested in trying to get a more organised costume front going, as soon as you get the details ironed out let me know, I may have some other recruits for you as well.

I'd be interested in the Stargate Costume Club, just ask The Col. At the moment, I'm in the stage where I'm beefing up my set of combat BDU's. There are pictures floating around of myself in full BDU outfit. I'm sure James and some of the others in SG-9 have pics to show...

OK Chap, but please be aware some events the club will attend will most likely be 18years old + due to insurance reasons and alike but any that don't have such restrictions I'll keep you apprised of chap.
