Sangraal the Pious
Sangraal is the product of a cloistered upbringing. A fiercely devout young man he bears the symbols of his sect and god proudly. A flat disc of bronze covered with markings denotes his worship of Yelm, the Bringer of Light, father of the gods and the world. The second symbol is the Dawn Plaid, a white rectangular woolen scarf worn over the left shoulder by the Brotherhood of the Dawn, is a stark contrast to Sangraals darkened leather armor. The armor is covered in roughly beaten metal studs and appears to be to have been pulled from some long forgotten chest. Patched and oiled to be passed from some elderly friar to promising acolyte.
Sangraal features are representative of the moagarii heritage in most ways except the darkness of skin. He is of average height and his build is lean. His darkend skin leaves little doubt as to his mixed blood lineage, as the dark skin was the mark of many Lunar Legionnaires and is the legacy in many parts of the region that they left behind.
Wielding a munitions grade morningstar, its haft nicked and worn smooth with use in the practice yards of the Temple in Doburg, he swings it with practiced ease. His right hand is encased in a vicious looking spiked steel gauntlet. The gauntlet extends down the length of the forearm to almost the elbow and bears a mounting point for a buckler.
His short straight brown hair is frayed and bent from rough cuttings by a overused blade, a common look for young acolytes of the faith as long hair is frowned upon by many of the elders. Sangraals hair matches the color of his eyes. A very non descriptive shade its the fire behind them which makes many stop to take notice. Both features are commonly obscured by a imperial style helm that he wears, its short peppered plume stained in places from rain, sweat and blood, a solid helm that is nearing the end of its usefulness. The telltale signs of an armorers hammer can be easily discerned over a good portion of the helmet, it is battle salvage pulled from the dead or wounded, repaired and passed along. Eventually heaped into the general inventory of a small temple in Doburg and chosen by the young acolyte Sangraal.
