Well, its the weekend here at MHS. Wouldn't it be great if all schools started on a Friday for the first day of school. What a way to start off. You get a weekend right after your first day. Well, this is because we are done with the first day of class. How so you ask. As you only went to one class. yes, but I am sure that doing the same thing for each class would get boring. So the one class you experienced is basically how all the classes are going to be.
Teacher posts role. Day gets started, end of class happens, everyone goes to their next class, or home..
Well, ezboard still hasn't confirmed anything on a final date when everything is changed over to Yuku. And we are working on what to do next. We all want user friendliness after everything is changed away from Ezbaord, and we are trying everything we can to ensure that we have just that when we are at a new board hosting site.
We have a guest book. Take a look. If you haven't taken a look yet, be sure and do so. ^_^

Secret Letters. ( Amber. )
It wasn't much of a surpise to see a abandoned church in the darker places of Downtown Buffalo where every single sense could be indulged except for that of forgiveness and hope. If it was spending your last dollar on a lap-dance or that last dollar beer at happy hour it wasn't going in the donation jar. A faint glimmer of what it was a shell of nothing, except it's own existence.
The place was desolate and huge with remains of what it used to be there was still a altar and rows of seats. There was the loud sound of one of the heavy front doors creaking open breaking new life into the old hinges, which surpisingly held the heavy doors. The sound traveled wide across the abandoned building bouncing off it walls in a faint echo. Lucian stepped inside the dusty church as the door slammed shot behind him with a loud booming noise. The sound had taken him by surpise, since he had almost jumped out of his shoes when it close. "Damn, old doors," his voice echoed through-out the building. "Nobody asked you."
Taking a couple steps into the building his feet kicking up a small-bit of dust as he walked. His fingers hitting the side of the wooden rows of seats, noticing how preserved they was for being left here so long ago. A soft sigh escaped his lips it had been quite sometime, since he had been in a church. It wasn't his favorite activity sitting there for hours, listening to sermons, and reading the bible. It was a good book, but he didn't need to sit there for hours on end listening to why it was a good book. Stopping at the altar he took in a deep breathe, then he blew a bit of dust off the surface. Lucian also inhaled just a tad-bit and let out a terrible cough. "...Yuck! Piff!"
He swished his tongue around to get rid of the taste of dust in his mouth. Jumping up on the now cleared off altar, he reached into his jacket it was starting to get a little frisky outside. Pulling out a folded sheet of paper he shook it briefly, before the contents spilled out infront of him this is what it said: Meet me at the abandoned church in Downtown Buffalo at 8:00 pm. Signed by Anomyous.
The letter itself mysterious appeared in his room. Curious to who would want to me him in a place such as this was the reason he showed up. Crossing his arms over his chest a soft sigh escaped his lips. He was of course early by ten minutes again due to his curiousity wanted to explore the place for himself. His lips puckered up in a whistle to pass the time it again echoed back to him.

Re: Secret Letters. ( Amber. )
Deja Vu, a feeling of familiarity and yet staring at this abandoned church, Amber found nothing familiar about this particular church. Not in this realm anyways...
The realm of dreams and nightmares was the place Amber frequented. To many indigenous cultures, that world was much more real and integral than the mundane world. Spirit journeys, symbolism, spirit guides all existed on that place. It was there in her many nightmares that she had seen this church. The city of blood red skies bathed the holy place with a red and foreboding glow.
And the whispers, urging her to go inside.
In the real world, she didn't hear voices but felt the presence of holy and demonic. The former was the one she felt most right now...but why here? It had been weeks since she even went near a church; with her luck it would burn down anyways.
With curiousity and the unconcious urges of her nightmare pushing her, she gripped the handle of her sword and would walk up to the large front doors. Her hand would barely touch it and it would open on its own, invisible hands opening its holy doors to greet or intice her to come inside.
But crossing the threshold, she realized that someone was already inside; one who didn't know or believe what he was, but one who had made attempt to reach out to her. One of the few with wings who had not harmed her...yet. Amber tilted her head curiously.
Re: Secret Letters. ( Amber. )"Lucian? Why are you here?"
The familiar voice of Amber reached his ears. He still had the letter in his hand folding it neatly. Assuming it was her he was supose to meet or it might be concidence she just happened to walk into the church. There was only one to figure out this charade. In a solemn voice he said waving the folded piece of paper, " It appears I was summoned here either by a third party or you. I don't really all I know is this piece of paper told me to be here and out of curiousity I followed it's instructions," he let go of the paper for it to fall the paper over-sized for such a memo-like note. "So, here I'm. Why are you here Amber?"
He was still sitting rather idly on the altar as he hopped down. His prompt landing had sent a vibration through the old floor boards of the church in a faint echo. Scratching the back of his head. Walking towards Amber, then almost as if instinct he stopped. His foot hovering in mid-air as if a creepy feeling about something struck him.
There suddenly was a frightful unexpected sound it was the sound of bells. They was loud and clear almost faint, but distiunigshed in their nature. The church, however had nobody in it except for them. A tilt of his head at the strange event, " Well, this is unexpected. I hope it's not a hunch back or ghost. It might be the wind. I doubt the wind could move such a bell? Weird.," a brief pause again as in thought. "In any case were both here for a reason."

Re: Secret Letters. ( Amber. )
So he was meant to come here as said the note, and by coincidence Amber was led here by dreamlike, ephemeral voices and images. What were the odds of that happening? The better question for Amber was: was it the same forces acting upon this situation?
That prospect sent a shiver down her spine, something about this greatly disturbed her. Maybe it was the nondescript nature of the note, or maybe it was the bells that began ringing in the supposedly abandoned church. Amber had a love hate relationship with bells; she had always loved to hear them in the many places she visited...but it also associated with the presence of angels. The only difference was these belonged to the church, otherwise Lucian wouldn't have heard them. The mind was a very powerful force upon her, able to pick up the differences between angels and demons.
"Lucian, let's leave." Amber said in a hushed voice. No reason to be stated, the overwhelming sense of impnding trouble was enough.
Re: Secret Letters. ( Amber. )
A loud sound boomed into Amber's ears followed by a soft click, the doors behind her had closed and locked by themselves. Sealing them in the abandoned church most people would freak at such a rather supernatural gesture. "Well, this place must have ghosts or this could be bad. I'm getting the distinct feeling you didn't write me this note?." he let out a sigh. "Oh fiddlesticks.."
He rested his elbow on one of the several wooden seating rows. "I guess where stuck here for the moment. Do you have any gum? Don't over-react it's just a door closing and locking by itself, after bells. It's not like we've been attacked by any opposing super-natural forces, then we would be in trouble."
The bells went off again by themselves once again giving away to their omnious presence. It was a very bad omen could there be other angels in the church or was it just a warning? Whatever, it was they was still trapped in the church. Lucian checked his jacket revealing a pack of gum. Pretty calm for being in a potential dangerous ordeal. Taking out a stick of gum slipping it into his mouth chewing on it gently. If there was any danger approaching them why get anxiety waiting for them? Holding out a foil wrapped stick of gum to her.

Re: Secret Letters. ( Amber. )
Amber stared at Lucian, completely taken aback by how unbeliveably calm he was with what was going on. Here they were, trapped in a supposedly abandoned church with the bells tolling for their possible demise and yet he simply offered her a stick of gum. She supposed she couldn't blame him, if he had gone though what she had he would be just as nervous as she was right now.
But that was the difference, wasn't it? The winged girl looked at the stick of gum before taking it, the crinkling foil echoing in the church and Amber quickly popped it into her mouth. The bells continued to toll, echoing ominously for the two locked inside. How she wanted to leave, ow she wanted to break one of the brilliant stained glass windows and fly away...if she could.
"I'm perfectly allowed to overreact," Amber said, a sharpness to her voice. "I have a terrible feeling about this. I really do."
Re: Secret Letters. ( Amber. )"I'm perfectly allowed to overreact," Amber said, a sharpness to her voice. "I have a terrible feeling about this. I really do."
"It does seem like this whole situation is fishy. I think there might be other more hostile angels about. I don't recall any demons showing up at bells, maybe the angel of death. Don't ask whom the bell tolls for it tolls for you. Besides, I'm here I can protect you or the other way around. Sometimes you can be mighty frightful with that pendulum of yours," Lucian said to her continuing to chew his gum. "I'm kind of interested who knows of my celestial existence and yours. I haven't had many run-ins with angels fallen or not."
Hooking his thumb to the altar. Blowing a bubble, then speaking, "What ever summoned us here isn't going to let us leave. It can't be to many of them. A large group would of attacked us by now. More of a smaller group I supose, heck might be individual. They are a bit dramatic with bells and such. In either case panicking is out of the question."
He was playing this off kind of non-chalant as if he wasn't worried. A blind-fate, that everything here would work out. Besides, the alternatives to the fate was death. In this case it was always better to think of the glass half-full. Blowing another big-bubble, then it popped the bells stopped, that can't be good. "Dieing here would be a bummer anyhow."

Re: Secret Letters. ( Amber. )"That would be terrible wouldn't it?" replied a male voice unlike Amber's, lyrical as a strum of a lute.
Amber froze at the sound of the voice, taking a slow glance around the church. It seemed there was nothing to worry about; light still poured in from the outside through the brilliant stained glass windows, the air was cool and musty and yet...what felt so wrong about it all? Unbeknownst to them, five symbols had formed on the grounds of the church, positioned as five points of a star. In the center was would be the church with an invisible barrier had materializing along the five points. Humans could walk by this abandoned church and never feel the need to take a second glance. Nothing out of the ordinary anyways.
"You again," she whispered, recognizing the voice from long forgotten dreams. Why here? Why now?
"Oh come now Amby," the voice spoke again, confidant and proud. "Are you still angry at me for the sin you commmited?"
Above them! Amber's alert mind pinpointed the echoing voice just in time. A being, an agent of heaven in dark militaristic style of clothing descended from above, landing gracefully on top of the altar. The being lacked wings, but the golden eyes, the locks of fair blue hair and the ephemeral aura that seemed to eminate from the body was the telling signs that he was no ordinary...man? Woman? A feminine face hid the gender, provided it even had one. The being glanced at Amber, giving her a smirk of self satisfaction.
"How's your mother, dear?" The lyrical voice turned sharp at the word "mother".
"Shut up."
The being shrugged off the comment before turning attention to the young man accomapnmying the neflet.
"Ah and the lost boy got the message. Wonderful! See how the usurper speaks to our kind? Dreadful girl."Edited by: sugoi sake at: 11/29/06 7:01 pm
Re: Secret Letters. ( Amber. )"That would be terrible wouldn't it?"
Lucian instinctively looked up at the being floating above them with a smirk. It seems they wasn't alone and this whole thing had been orchestared. This fellow seemed smugly naive like a axe murder with a short-term memory, no wonder Amber was weary of his race. Blowing a bubble, then it suddenly popped as Lucian closed his eyes. Might as well try to block out the witty banter, that went along with these agents.
"How's your mother, dear?"
"Shut up."
Lucian eyes opened at the comment glancing over to Amber, then back to the odd person. The military attire was a tip of the hat to it's origins. A agent of heaven most likely he had seen demons and they didn't have the whimscal qualities as this one. He didn't like the fact, that the agent was teasing Amber. It unnerved Lucian he didn't approve of bullies, infact he despised them. His hands tightened into a fist out of anger, but he kept himself calm.
"Ah and the lost boy got the message. Wonderful! See how the usurper speaks to our kind? Dreadful girl."
"I'm not lost. Don't group me with somebody as yourself no better, then a demon in my opinion." Lucian snapped back harshly at the figure spitting out his gum. "You had it coming anyhow. You don't talk about a person's mother the way you did. Why did you summon us here?"

Re: Secret Letters. ( Amber. )
The boy's words distracted the angel from Amber; he seemed quite shocked that he had even stood up for the girl.
"Et tu, lost boy?" It seemed that the angel was not one to consider the words of others. "Speaking to a superior like that...but then I suppose I can't blame you for your impertinence. She's poisoned you."
And with that his attention tured to Amber again.
The winged girl seemed to freeze under the stare. How she hated the presence of angels! It was comforting and yet so repulsing that she had wanted to turn and escape. Something was very wrong, she could feel it deep in her heart and soul that she and Lucian were at an impasse.
"I haven't poisoned anyone." The winged girl said, though it sounded less convincing. She had not but that stare...it was as if the eyes of God watched them now. No escape, no lies...
The angel smirked at her as if he simply read her mind and leaped off the altar.
"Of course you haven't. Anyways, I summoned you both here for a bit of fun. Quite simple, with a little help from the lost boy..." The golden eyes turned to Lucian and there was a tenderness that instantly vanished whenever he looked at Amber.
"Bringing you here gave me quicker access to her with the least suspicion. Thank you my dear for putting up with this wretched existence. God would be pleased."
Amber's eyes widened and she snapped her head to Lucian in a stare of disbelief. Betrayal? A trap? Whas this all this was?
Re: Secret Letters. ( Amber. )"Bringing you here gave me quicker access to her with the least suspicion. Thank you my dear for putting up with this wretched existence. God would be pleased." "Lucian...?"
Those sorrowful blue eyes looked back at Amber gleaming with genquie hurt to meet her questioning stare. Lucian said his voice low, "Amber, I didn't do this.."
He looked back to the agent his eyes changing they was more serious void of the gentleness the stranger gave him. A glint of curiousity oddly in them none the less. Lucian sneered at the stranger about his comment of god, "I thought you was a angel not a preacher. Can't be much of a god if he condoes murder," his voice sounded confused and torned. "I must admit. I feel a need to know about my hertiage, even though I'm not liking what I see."
He took a deep breathe in his eyes closed for a moment thinking outloud on purpose to get his mind read. "I know one thing I'm not going to cost or put in danger a friend's life to find out and I don't want to be a monster. Who looks at person with such indifference, then to another with such acceptance based on what they came in the world as. I want nothing to do with superior and wars. Just don't want to see people get hurt."
Leaned against a row of seats a soft smile came across his lips composed once again. It was sometimes amazing how Lucian vented and changed in his personality almost as if on raw-whim. Lucian looked over to the angel as he said jokingly, "Besides, how bad could she be?"

Re: Secret Letters. ( Amber. )
If there was one annoyance that surrounds Rasiel, it would be the ability to completely dismiss when someone is speaking. A lowly earth-bound angel speaking to him, a virtue, in such a manner? Hah!
The lost boy had no idea about the ways of Heaven, so he easily dismissed his comment about the Lord nor was he receptive entirely to knowing what he was. But it was something he said that established a connection:
"Besides, how bad could she be?"
He was actually defending the abomination of God! He reached for his pocket and cleaned his hands with a white cloth. Dirty, filthy...
"You don't have the faintest idea, do you, boy? Her kind has the ability to commit mass murder and massive chaos on Earth; she could endanger the lives of the people of this city."
He fixed his eyes on Amber, who now had turned pale at the words "mass murder". He could see right through her, see what sins she had commited, whose blood stained her hands. It was as if Heaven now can see right through her, judging her...How she wanted to rip his eyes out!
No, don't think that way, you're better than that!
The angel continued: "She'll use anyone that's close to her to further her own existance. In other words, incapable of caring for others-"
"That's not true!" Amber shouted, raising her sword. No, it wasn't true! She cared deeply for a handful of people, she could never even fathom using them for whatever purposes Rasiel was talking about. The angel dismissed her outcry and turned to Lucian again.
"She's a danger to others. That is why we must either coerce her to our side or kill her."
Re: Secret Letters. ( Amber )
(( OOC: Kary/Amber asked me to play this NPC in this particular thread, so here I am! Any questions, PM. ))
...chuckle.
That wasn't Rasiel. That wasn't Lucian. That certainly wasn't Amber. That was somebody else. Look up. The balcony is empty, and the stone is cool; the shadows are deep, and the candles are unlit; there haven't been candles for a long time. There is a crack in the stained glass window, which is a luminous dark, with the red sky behind it. There's nobody there.
Look back. Down the center aisle from the altar, which is bathed in holy radiance: Rasiel. Pray to that name. Rasiel. Look into the dusty shadows where pews have been stacked up; look into the dusty shadows of what would lead into the priest's quarters.
He is leaning against stone; his arms are folded. The forefinger of his lefthand curls in a question mark over his lips. His thumb balances his chin. His skin is pale; his hair is black and straight and long and sharp. His features are delicate as the edge of a knife, and as sharp, and as hurtful; one glance, and it hurts. Another glance, and it doesn't hurt until later: He cuts clean, but infectious. He's beautiful; the shadows take the colour from his eyes. Guess at it.
His presence is not a comfort. There was something in the chuckle -- a certain pleasure -- which sets the hair rising on the nape of most people's necks. Eerie presence.
Lucian doesn't know who this other is. Amber will remember him.
He says: "I think you should take that back - Rasiel, is it?" He pronounces it with an accent: the proper accent. Enochian - the language of angels.
Re: Secret Letters. ( Amber )
Lucian flickered briefly to the presence of the new voice. A small sigh escaped his lips. Unthrilled at arrival of a new angel into this scene. There was something extradionarily different about this one he was less whimscal more deceptional in a way his demeanor and something chilling about this one. Still Lucian stood there pondering the idienitied angel Rasiel words. A finger pressed to his chin a habitat when he's caught in a rare situation, that eludes his knowledge and needed his focus on a solution to said problem.
"Well, Raisel doesn't everybody have the potential to become evil or synical including yourself? So, to kill Amber would be like putting a bullet in old yellow, before he got sick if she turned that path." Lucian said in a kind of light tone. "Besides, she doesn't look deranged to me. She's not foaming at the mouth?"
Lucian closed his left eye as he looked over to the new-comer with his other in a playful yet stern manner. "Mr. Yang? I presume. I say Yang cause you seem more of the darker type of persuassion kind of swauve-scheming alluring, and grevious type compared to Mr. Rasiel Yin. Kind of like a smooth-talking lawyer with a chainsaw as they would say back at home." Lucian said opening his other eye his voice astute. " Either way you probably know Amber."
He gave a quick wink to Amber, before turning his attention back to this ordeal. Lucian was up to something he took a step to the altar. His hand over the top of it drumming impatiencely. "So, I'm right about you Mr. Yang or are you working for Mr. Yin and his associates? I need to know before..." Lucian eyes changed suddenly almost ruthless feel to them.

Re: Secret Letters. ( Amber )
"...Slash?"
Amber did recognize him but she almost didn't believe it. The expression on her face was one of silent welcome and yet a looming sense of doom hovering over them. Of course, he was creepy as she had remembered. Why in the world was he here? What chaos will ensue from both the dark knife and the eccentric angel together in the same place? Hopefully it was in the favor of Amber and Lucian.
Meanwhile, Rasiel paid less attention to the nephilim and the lost boy, his attention on an interloper that carried a dangerous beauty. Ah, one must always take care in these situations when it comes to human interlopers. But just in case, a golden scepter materialized in his hand.
"An uninvited guest! I suppose the barrier wasn't strong enough. And what need do I have to take back what I said? The Truth is something humans never want to hear, however, that's the mark of the flawed race!"
The radiant Virtue seemed not to be bothered by Slash's presence. However Rasiel had been certain the barrier around the church was secure and strong enough to keep interlopers out and keep his guests inside. What a bother!
Re: Secret Letters. (Amber)
The man (Slash, his name is; and perhaps we'll soon see why) straightens and the movement brings him half out of the gloom. Light spills over his lovely face; truly, he is as androgynous as Rasiel; as arrogant, if not more so; and proud. What sin can a virtue have? Lucian speaks to Slash; calls him Mr. Yang; and one corner of Slash's mouth curls upward. "Clever, clever;" and then he jackal cackles; the snicker, the giggle, is one of the most disturbing things. "I? Work for - ?"
The radiant angel - o, hossanah - turns toward Slash, too, and a golden sceptre shapes itself from the light in his hands. Awe and terror and majesty, that's what an angel is; a splinter of god's will; a machine.
"No, no. I'm neutral." He's been so languid, Slash has. Until this moment: He steps out of the gloom entirely, and out of his pose. Lucian's getting closer to the altar; Slash's eyes mark this; and there's now a manic energy, pent up, behind his movements: They cut the air. To Amber: "You remember me." Beat. "Get out of here, kids. Through the priest's vestry."
Slash has dropped the hand from his chin - a languid gesture - and his thumb and forefinger are held a finger's width apart. Something gleams.
Do note: His eyes are liquid gold, snake-gold, but his pupils are mad pin-pricks, and he doesn't blink. "Rasiel," he chides, low, and sounds almost friendly: "Kill Amber? You can't think of a single reason why you should be ashamed to suggest such a thing?"
Rasiel had been sure that his barrier around the church was secure: and oh, oh, it was. It was.
Hopping up on the altar he crossed his arms over his chest. He gave a bit of a smile at Slash he was certainly a cheerful one. Lucian shifting once more taking a more poised position his hand cupping his chin it seemed like he was thinking, but from the stale look on his face he was now bored. "Clever I'm. Atleast Mr. Yang has a sense of humor." Lucian said his voice low and dry borderline sarcasim hooking a thumb to him, then glancing back over to Rasiel. "More, then Mr. Yin."
Speaking of Mr.Yin I mean Rasiel who Lucian had nicknamed seems to be somewhat deterred from Slash who had again been nicknamed as Mr. Yang. They apparently didn't get along to well in the sense of their agendas. Lucian grinned mischeviously to himself.
"Rasiel," he chides, low, and sounds almost friendly: "Kill Amber? You can't think of a single reason why you should be ashamed to suggest such a thing?"
If Slash was to pay attention to Lucian who had his hand up to be acknowledged, but spoke anyway. "I have a answer to that question. It's more like a guess." Lucian said shrugging his shoulders and a tilt of his head looking deceptionally dumb-founded. "Besides, the fact that she's a walking paradox/powerhouse. Ummm, it would hinder your plans for her. You don't think he would of did such a deed with the barrier and all, being setup left in a abandoned church. Don't mind me, I'm just a lost boy."

Re: Secret Letters. (Amber)
The lost boy was correct, which is why Rasiel seemed to completely dismiss his answer. The idea of being ashamed to kill Amber never crossed his mind; it was for the glory of the Lord, protecting his flawed creations. So why would this neutral being stand in his way? Things were getting more interesting by the moment...
"I have no reason to be ashamed in wanting to kill my neice. Her sinful harlot of a mother too. What business is it of yours, Slash?"
Eh?! Niece?!
The thought of being related to the angel sickened her; anyone but this one. Something in those eyes brought a wave of nostalgia over her. Wait, she had been in this situation before but when? Either way, Slash was giving them the way out. Amber knew this one was much stronger than the other ones she had faced and/or killed. Though she had no real idea why Slash had came all this way to help them, she had to take the chance! Amber dashed forward and literally grabbed Lucian's wrist.
"We're going NOW."
She said through clenched teeth before she literally dragged him along. Amber didn't have much of an idea what powers this particular angel had, she never had an encounter with a Virtue class angel before.
Re: Secret Letters (Amber)
His air is the air of a hungry ghost, and a little girl's just accidentally cut herself, and soon he'll have fresh blood. His mouth curls into a smile. He hasn't begun to ignore Lucian yet. The smile disappears when Rasiel speaks, and Amber grabs Lucian's hand, and runs. "Say hello to my niece from me, Amber. And good bye, lost boy," says he, soft as a cat's tongue.
There are some who know exactly what they are. These people know themselves, fully. They know what they are capable of. They know what they are not capable of. They have found the perfect balance and they move with such harmony, that they can cut air from air. The delicate, sharply beautiful man (Mistah Yang) is such a one.
To Rasiel's comment. "No, no." He waves one hand. His fingers are slender and fine. His niece has similar fingers. There is a glint, in the air. There is a hiss, in the shadows. He is a puppet master. He cuts. With strings. Behind the teenagers.
No? Difficult to see, but Rasiel's senses are fine, no doubt. Fine, and he'll notice the fine threads, some of them, which glint and echo Slash's movement.
"There's no shame in wanting to kill your niece; I want to kill mine all the time. But, dear creature, one doesn't actually do it. That's no right way to treat your family."
Re: Secret Letters (Amber)"Say hello to my niece from me, Amber. And good bye, lost boy," says he, soft as a cat's tongue.
Lucian was being dragged from the altar by Amber's hand. He looked to Mr. Yang, then to Mr. Yin back to Amber again with a raised brow suddenly Lucian said," Man, you're sure exicting to be around. You also got some pretty powerful people watching your back."
He looked back to the battle Something caught his eye it was more of a shimmer like a distriotion in the air. The only thing he could think of it was wire or thread. Wait, where has he seen this before? Those fingers looked some-what familiar to him the way they moved almost dancing. He knew those fingers from somewhere not wielding threads, but turning the pages of a book perhaps. Why was he thinking about reading at a time like this? The library his wheels was turning in his head he couldn't be related to her could he? Yet, why was he helping Amber. Lucian said outloud, "V? Is this why she's so afraid of roses?"
Glancing back Amber as they got closer to the door. "Wait, what about the barrier? How are we going to get through it?" Luciand asked with a bewildered look it was a good question Mr. Yin did say something about a barrier. Not knowing much about this angel's magic, but he did look rather strong. "I mean he did say something about a barrier. I would like to get out of here, before I'm sliced like cheese from Mr. Yang or Mr. Yin tries to convert me."

Re: Secret Letters (Amber)"Man, you're sure exicting to be around. You also got some pretty powerful people watching your back."
"Don't say that like it's a good thing..." Amber said, not wanting to look back. Niece, niece, that thing was her uncle! The churning in her stomach had not settled since Rasiel revealed that. How could her father know such a horrible being such as him!
"V? Is this why she's so afraid of roses?"
"Eh? No. Not at all." Of course Amber knew as V had told her why, but she was momentarily puzzled by how he was able to peice that together. She had no idea of the fine threads nor would she have noticed such things in her current mindset. Once Lucian had mentioned the barrier, she stopped dead upon remembering the barrier; her biggest mistake...
Threads...Rasiel was sure he had seen them earlier, but it could've been rays of light glimmering through the stained glass windows. No, he must always be cautious of the human world. The being of light knows of those with otherworldy powers. Ah but even they are...
"There's no shame in wanting to kill your niece; I want to kill mine all the time. But, dear creature, one doesn't actually do it. That's no right way to treat your family. I hardly think your God approves."
Like the lost boy, a being like Slash wouldn't understand the intricacies of the angelic order. Those who do not know the ways of Heaven could never understand it. Heaven and even Hell, the humans are so certain that the know the ways of the world! Flawed books, false prophets, they wish to hear what they want...such is another flaw of the human race.
"The motives of the Lord, my Lord, are not yours to cast judgment. It is beyond your understanding, dear."
With the emphasis of the last word, the being shot out his arm towards Amber and the lost boy, An ancient and strange looking seal flashed beneath Amber and the lost boy, bathing them in a bright white. The light flashed and faded, trapping the two in a translucent glass-like case. Rasiel's hand enclosed as if he held an invisble cup.
