We have added a few things to the requirements to power and ability upgrades. Be sure and read the details in the most recent update when you request a new power / upgrade.
Well, its the weekend here at MHS. Wouldn't it be great if all schools started on a Friday for the first day of school. What a way to start off. You get a weekend right after your first day. Well, this is because we are done with the first day of class. How so you ask. As you only went to one class. yes, but I am sure that doing the same thing for each class would get boring. So the one class you experienced is basically how all the classes are going to be.
Teacher posts role. Day gets started, end of class happens, everyone goes to their next class, or home..
Well, ezboard still hasn't confirmed anything on a final date when everything is changed over to Yuku. And we are working on what to do next. We all want user friendliness after everything is changed away from Ezbaord, and we are trying everything we can to ensure that we have just that when we are at a new board hosting site.

Seek and Destroy (Open)
Drewe sauntered into the quad, rolling his designer suitcase behind him. He was ready to take this school by storm, as soon as he took care of some loose ends. He had already had Rico taken care of. He couldn't believe that the backstabbing louse had warned Hawthorne that he was coming. If there was anything Drewe hated more than insubordinance, it as someone getting away from him.
Hawthorne had pushed her luck for the last time, and he was about to rectify the situation, permanently. He would take her to a place so far within herself that she would never come back to the real world. He had almost had her there the last time, but she had had that little burst of courage that had cost him so much.
He straightened his suit jacket, he was looking extra-extravagant today, pulling out all the stops, you could say. His snow white suit was tailored perfectly to his muscular form, masking the paunch that had developed around his middle. He was not in the best shape of his life, but certain things had led to him needing to step forward his plans. He cursed Rico to the thousandth layer of Hell. Why had he warned her?
Looking around, he decided to head for the building that looked like it would house the dormitories. He would get settled in, and then start his search. Campus wasn't very big, it shouldn't take too long.

Ryoko walked through the quad. Last time she was here, she ran down her roommate Ayeka with her skateboard. She laughed at that thought for a moment as she looked to the general place where it happened. She continued walking on, not really looking for anyone. Sometimes Ryoko just wandered around, to try and find new things. It was how she got around when she first started, after all.
Today, Ryoko was wearing a red tank top, to match her blood red eyes, and long black pants. She wore her favourite converse all star shoes and her raven black hair was tied up in a high ponytail with red ribbon wrapped around it. Stopping for a second, Ryoko looked around the place. It was at this time that she noticed a man with a briefcase. He looked a little lost. Maybe he's knew... Ryoko thought.
She wandered over to him, wondering if she could help in any way. " Hi." She initially said, smiling at the stranger. " Do you need help with anything?" she asked. Ryoko couldn't understand why she was so friendly. What happened between her, Hawthorne and Jun had made her angry and Ryoko was one to usually have difficulty shaking those feelings off, but this time it was easy.

Drewe wasn't used to being approached so casually by strangers. After all, back home in Toronto he was known, respected, even feared. That and he would have his bodygaurds with him, usually. Still, he couldn't bring them here, they would give him away faster than anything.
He raised an eyebrow and looked the girl up and down, a small frown playing across his forehead. He didn't approve of the cut of the girl's shirt, but still, he should at least attempt to be nice. Perhaps she would be worth taking back to his room as a diversion while he searched for Hawthorne.

Drewe smiled his most charming smile. That question could be interpreted so many different ways, he wondered how she intended it to be? He chuckled, a low, gruff, seductive sound. He remembered a lackey once told him that that noise could remove a girl's panties in seconds.
"I suppose that depends, darling. What are you offering help with?"

Ryoko eyed him curiously. Was he hitting on her? Well, thats what she was getting from him. She smiled again, her red eyes catching his for a moment. Ryoko was never the easiest girl to pick up. If thats what he was trying to do, he would receive a challenge from her. " Finding your way around." She replied, in her usual tone. " You seem lost." Ryoko added.
For a moment, she looked the stranger up and down, trying to get a reading on his personality from what he was wearing. Sometimes it helped figure a person out quicker than usual. She couldn't get anything from him really, so she just looked him square in the eye. " Are you lost?" She asked, smirking.

When Ryoko looked him up and down, she may have noted the quality workmanship of his designer suit, or the expensive nature of his leather shoes. She may even notice the way his hair had been recently cut and styled.

He chuckled again, this one in genuine amusement. The girl had spunk, too bad she dressed like a two-bit whore. Not many people were as modest as his Hawthorne, that was why he had every intention of keeping her.

Ryoko shrugged at what he said, sliding her hands into her pockets. It was something she often did, not for any reason at all. " That depends on where you're going." Ryoko replied. She looked around. This place was a lot bigger than the school. There was a fair bit more to see. It was finally at this time that she noticed what he was wearing. Ryoko had an eye for fine things. She could always tell the good merchandise from the bad. After all, she was a thief. She wouldn't be a very good one if she couldn't even do that.
Looking up at him, there was something about this guy that just wasn't right. He seemed very, sly. Unable to figure out why, Ryoko just went for it. He seemed like a very interesting person.

Drewe smiled at that. If this girl had been dressed more appropriately, he may have been tempted to to whisk her away in Hawthorne's place. He loved a fresh challenge, and breaking females was a special thrill for him.
"Well, I'm not going anywhere particularly exciting. I'm heading off to my room, to unpack, and then I'll maybe wander around for a bit."
He liked that the girl seemed to trust him, he worked rather hard on his charming demeanor. So many people became trapped in his web because of it, and it was a wonderous thing. Every person brought him new information, new contacts, new customers. He wondered which catagory this girl was going to fall under.

" Bedrooms are over that way, if you want to know." She commented. Her other hand still rested in her pocket as she brought her hand to her side. " Wandering around is the best way to find most places around here. It's how I found my way around." She explained. Ryoko shrugged. " Well, that and some people who know the place well." She added, thinking to when Jun helped her out with finding her way around.

It was much warmer inside, and Stella shed the full length white coat she had shrugged on over her ankle length blue skirt and blouse. She had dressed for warmth upon seeing the frost flowers on the window when she had woken that morning, though had noticed most girls were still dressed for spring if not summer weather. But then again, who was she to say what was normal?
She looked around at the people milling about; talking, eating… and pairs of people were doing that thing with their mouths. She shied away from the loud conversations. Too many people. It was a bit unsettling.
But she needed to meet people. That was why she had come here! After all, it was unhealthy to go through 16 years of your life without meeting someone your own age, so Stella was anxious to fix that. But where to start? Her wide blue eyes swept the quad, coming to rest on a guy in white, who was pulling a bag. He must be new. And she was relatively new, so that made it a bit less scary not to mention a reason to aproach. There was another girl there, but Stella could handle two people.
She made her way over, slowly, her skirt swishing against her shoes. She reached them and smiled brightly at both the man and the girl, though her blue eyes were still slightly nervous.
“Hi. Are you new?” she asked the man, one hand rising to fiddle with her necklace. “I’m Stella. It’s nice to meet you. Both of you.” she added, turning to face the girl there. “Do you want some help with your stuff?” she added, trying to be helpful. Edited by: belovedstranger1ruby at: 12/8/06 6:31 am

He looked towards the building the girl pointed out to him. Apparently he wasn't lost at all, which could only mean that the invitation to help was a come-on. This pleased him, knowing that even though the girl would be hard to coerce, she would concede in the end. Besides, he enjoyed how she insisted on referring to the dormitories as bedrooms.

Drewe raised an eyebrow quizically. "Perhaps you'll show me your bedroom sometime?" He made his tone light, mocking. He didn't want to frighten her away, not yet.

That statement seemed a little loaded, as if she was thinking of a certain someone. That wouldn't do, not when Drewe was right there. He gave her his very best bow. "Well perhaps then you can be one of my guides."
At that moment they were approached by something that Drewe could not resist, even if he wanted to. A young girl in modest dress of long skirt and blouse. He remembered when he used to outfit Hawthorne in such clothing, and it made him smile, a rather predatory look. He gave Stella a once over, hungry eyes sizing up her form. It was gone quickly, and if the girl's had noticed, they might mistake it for a passing shadow.
~Hi. Are you new?~
Drewe's eyes followed the girl's hand as it raised to her neckline. Without realizing it, his gaze darkened and intensified. He knew that she was being coy, why were all the girls the same? Only his Hawthorne was appropriately uninterested in the male form. He whiped his face clean, replacing it with the charming smile.
~I’m Stella. It’s nice to meet you. Both of you... Do you want some help with your stuff?~
Now there was an interesting question. Perhaps this particular girl would be more acquiescent than he first imagined. The possibilities behind that delighted him. He bowed again and offered the pretty little thing his hand.
"My name is Drewe, Drewe Hammel. Thank you for the offer, but I believe I can manage my bag myself."

Ryoko eyed him suspiciously as he made the first comment. She quickly picked up on the fact that he was joking. She sure hoped he was. " Clever... Cool your jets." She commented, with a smile to show that she was joking too. Then he asked her to show him around. It's not like she ever had anything else to do now that she'd seen most of what she had to. She nodded at what he said. " Sure, if you ever see me around, I can help you." She explained, with a smile. She would find it a bit weird, being a tour for someone when she had only just gotten to know the place herself, but she could manage.
“Hi. Are you new?”...“I’m Stella. It’s nice to meet you. Both of you.”
Ryoko looked over as a girl approached them. She's never met this girl before. It was nice to meet new people. She seems nervous. Ryoko thought, looking at her with a friendly smile, in small hopes to help her loosen up. She was about to speak, but waited for the other guy to speak first, since she didn't know his name either.
"My name is Drewe, Drewe Hammel. Thank you for the offer, but I believe I can manage my bag myself."
Ryoko looked at them both. " My name's Ryoko Taylor. Nice to meet you both as well." She said, looking at Drewe, then to Stella. She wondered what to say for a moment. " So, Stella, are you new around here?" She asked.
When Ryoko and Drewe smiled at her, Stella twitched her lips into one in reply. The smile on Drewe’s face was a little different from others she had seen, perhaps not so happy, but Stella could find nothing actually wrong with it. Then, when she began to toy with her pendent, something she always did when uneasy, she saw him stare. She dropped it as if the silver metal had grown white hot. But then he smiled again, and she shook her head slightly, thinking she had imagined it. When he offered her his hand she reached out slowly, and copying the gesture she had been others perform, shook it. Her grip was very loose, and her hand looked tiny in his.

“Oh, well then that’s good. But if you need some help unpacking, or finding your room, I can be of assistance.” In truth Stella was surprised he had only the one bag. While she realised girls usually had more luggage, it seemed odd even for a man to only have the one. Maybe he was not staying long.

“I came here about…” she paused to think, “three weeks ago? I remembered what a change it was for me, so I wanted to see if I could help someone in the same situation.” She quickly brushed a few strands of white hair that had settled across her face and smiled at Ryoko, “How long have you been attending here? I haven’t had the pleasure of meeting you before.”

He grinned, that was about what he had expected. After all, if that particular line had worked, he might need some preventative measures to avoid becoming . . . diseased. Still, she was in good shape, so it would be worth the ride. He grinned again.

He stored that knowledge, she would obviously play hard to get. He was sure he could win her in the end, but it may take more time then he had to commit to such a measure. Pity, that. He wished he was planning on being here longer.

When Stella went to shake Drewe's hand with her limp little one, he raised it to his lips and dropped a light kiss on it. He was trying to startle her with his gallant gesture, and he didn't quite let go of her hand, but his grasp was light enough she could take it back should she want it.

Ryoko looked at the newcomer Drewe for a moment. It seemed that they would be living on the same floor. At this current point in time, she wouldn't give out such information to him. She still found him strange.
“How long have you been attending here? I haven’t had the pleasure of meeting you before.”
Looking to Stella as she spoke, Ryoko smiled at her. " I've been around for about a week or so, not long. But hey, it's nice meeting you Stella." She said to her.
"As your company is similarly enjoyable, Ryoko."
It did not bother Ryoko to be left out of his conversation. The more he spoke, the more she felt he was just... weird. In all honesty, she was looking for a way to get out of the situation. Something about him just wasn't right. It was at that time that she noticed that paper in her pocket. She pulled it out and it was that note from Deadelus.
She sighed, she felt sorry for him after everyone was so mean to him in the gardens last night. Ryoko opened it and re read it. " Oh crap, I forgot about him." She muttered to herself. She looked around, trying to find the quickest way to get there. If she ran she knew she would make it and be late. Being fit gave her advantages like that.
Ryoko would feel strange if she up and left for no reason. She looked to them and waved. Time for me to get the hell out of here before this gets too weird. She thought. But for a moment, she didn't want to leave Stella behind. She probably didn't get the same vibes from this guy she did. Ryoko wanted to tell her to be careful, but she didn't have an opportunity.
" Sorry for this, but I have to go. I promised a friend called Deadelus that I'd meet him somewhere." She said, waving to them before she turned to make her leave.

Stella’s eyes widened in surprise as they fastened on her hand. She had expected Drewe to shake it, not this. And what was he doing anyway? Was this some standard greeting? When he did not relinquish her hand she looked up at him, her surprise and bafflement clear on her face. She did not know whether to take her hand back, or wait until he chose to release it. Best to go with the more polite choice if she was unsure, and just leave it.
“I would like for you to help me find my room, pretty lady. I'll be on the third floor, if that is of any assistance”
“I’d be happy to help you find your room if you wish.” Stella said, her cheeks colouring slightly at the compliment he had paid her. She was not sure how to react to such flattering remarks, and ducked her head slightly. She was not sure how to react as he continued to praise her.
"It is kind of you to say so," she managed.
When Ryoko spoke Stella looked up at her, and smiled as she heard Deaudelus mentioned.
“I know the boy you speak of. It was a pleasure meeting you.” she watched Ryoko’s retreating back, and then turned back to Drewe.
“Would you like me to show you your room now?” she asked, her tone polite.

"It is not kindness, darling Stella, it is honesty."
He focused his attention on Stella, noticing with pleasure that she did not remove her hand from his own. She was an insecure little darling, obviously. Drewe smiled, he seemed to have turned the little darling's head. She was an easily manipulated angel, but she seemed proper and well mannered, which he adored. Then the saucy wench spoke up again.

Drewe inclined his head in Ryoko's direction, flashing her his pearly whites, one last time. "I hope to meet you again, Ryoko. It was a pleasure making your acquaintance."

This made his smile sharpen, giving it a bit of an edge, but only for the barest of moments. He didn't like the thought of the girl, whom he was already considering 'his Stella', knowing other boys. Hopefully he could rectify that insufferable situation rather quickly. Still, he whiped the dangerous glint out of his eyes, returning to his normal charming self.
~Would you like me to show you your room now?~
"I would like that very much, Stella. Please, lead on."
Drewe firmly gripped his suitcase with one hand, wrapping Stella's arm around his in a suitably gallant gesture. He was suave, he was cool, he was plotting against her already.
