I think it is pointless in a way. I dont get the point of the countries who finance it like us and are excluded from being kicked out or having to take part in the semi finals coz i think if we did we would actually bother to either try and win or just not bother at all. I have to agree i dont think we take it seriously like some of the other countries such as the new ones who joined this year. And yes it is a bit tacky but it has been for ages. Without that, Terry, and the political voting it would be totally pointless.

I meant coz we pay for it every year that seems as much effort that we're willing to do, coz the songs have gotten pooer and you're right the selection process is crap. One lil show and now as its on the bbc the fame academy lot, think we can do better. It should be much bigger and independent, so by the time it comes to the song contest most people actually know whos singing for us atleast.
