Supposing that you have practice the initial exercise I posted, this is something to build up from that point.
Now, as a reminder… I had you stare into a candle, focus in on the aura around the flame, visualizing that aura of light around your body. I told you that, with practice and intent, you can make this shield as dense as you like.
Now what I haven’t told you is that you can give this shielding technique multiple tasks. (A quick example of multitasking… One of my shields is set up to allow only certain people to access me, or my energies, but keep out all others. Another shield I use keeps me from passing any negative emotions to others while allowing me to receive positive energies from others.)
OK… Now that I am through rambling. If you are wishing this to be a protective shield, here is a neutral protection spell.
Return your focus to the candle.
Call on your particular powers. By this I not only mean whom you worship, but also those abilities secreted inside each and every one of us.
Raise your arms visualizing these powers welling up around and inside of you.
Say the following (or something similar):
“Powers dark and Powers light
Be with me this very night
As I sit here, this I pray
Send protection speeding my way
All ill intent cause no alarm
Be bounced away and cause no harm
By the powers of 3 times 3
So mote it be! So mote it be!”
It is simple, sweet and to the point, and I sincerely hope this will help you.
Remember it is your right to be protected and who better than the Goddess and God to do so…
