Islamic Paths ezOP Posts: 4 (6/10/01 8:53 pm) Reply	Should we become sub-groups or stay united at all costs? There has been a raging debate in one of the e-Groups I monitor regarding a new club that has started entitled "White American Muslims". Needless to say it generated outrage, calls of white supremacy, black bigotry, separation of sects in the Ummah and so forth. Even though the original intent was to create a place for white American Muslims to gather and share their experiences, and was not intended as a stomping ground for racism, the meaning is lost in the connotations it generates. How do you feel about this issue? Should Muslims break themselves down into sub-groups at all or should they stay united at all costs?
