Silence (Open)
Reikia’s dazzlingly blue eyes scanned the lake’s side from underneath one of the few nearby trees next to the peaceful water. Several bright coloured leaves scattered the grassy area around her, and unconsciously, she found herself twirling one in her left hand. In spite of the breathtaking beauty, it was evident the seasons where changing fast before her. It hadn’t actually felt that long ago Reikia had arrived here after her father’s death, but even that seemed a lifetime away in her mind. Instinctively, Reikia moved a sapphire lock out of her face, which had been misplaced by the wind.

The surrounding area was exceptionally silent, except the rhythmic noises of the water, wind and her own breathing mixed together to create some sort of background sound. As far as she could tell, she was perfectly alone and she enjoyed wallowing in the unfamiliar feelings it brought to her. It felt like several years since the first time she had properly been alone, without anyone else interrupting her or appearing suddenly from round the next corner. That was just the thing with schools like this, wasn’t it? Students were everywhere, but that only made her appreciate the silence even more.

For a moment, her delicate features creased into a frown as a notion passed over her mind. Reikia had the impression that gangs of students usually spent their free time hanging out together near the water side. Most of them played some sort of water games, whilst the others just talked and sat around lazily. Reikia didn’t know for sure what they did exactly as she had never come across any groups like that before, but yet she couldn’t hear anyone more or less see anyone. It was just blissful silence, but knowing her luck. Someone was bound to come along soon, but at least Reikia could enjoy the waiting.

Re: Silence (Open)
It was mid afternoon and Vash's studies were just about finished. He only had a few math equations to finish up and he would be free for another night. For now, he was just going to lazily stroll around campus, enjoying the breath taking scenery Manga High had to offer. It was so stunning that the school could afford such a magnificent display of nature. The mountains, the gardens, the waterfall even! It was all so captivating and pleseant.

Today he was particularly enjoying the lake. It was a golden silence that blessed those who came here often to reflect on the day or just talk with a few friends without interuption. The calm waters gave the soul some peace of mind, complete serenity washing over the area like a gentle wave. It made Vash smile to himself, pleased with this feeling of tranquility amongst his daily anxieties.

His eyes were then beckoned by a young girl sitting under one of the nearby trees. She was fiddling around with a few leaves on the ground, looking as if she was contemplating life itself. Maybe she was, maybe she wasn't. Who knew how philosophical anyone was by just a glance? It was intriguing, however, and it attracted the curiosity of the dunpeal. Wanting to know more of this delicate figure, he made a point to change his path to include walking by her. It was obvious enough, so that the girl would most likely look his way and he even gave a small wave before he reached her. Looking down, the same warm smile was on his face and he greeted her in a most unusual manner for Vash: cheerfully.

"Hello there. I do not believe we have had the pleasure of making aquaintences. Vash Hellsinger, at your service." he said promptly with his famous Romanian accent. "And you would be?"

Re: Silence (Open)
For a moment, Reikia paused, but the leaf was still held in her tight grasp. She heard someone or something move nearby, and then recognised it as a person. There were a single set of footsteps, and the noise of crunching gravel underfoot. As if by fate, or more likely just pure coincidence, Reikia looked up and her gaze came to lie upon the source of the interruption. She didn’t recall seeing or ever meeting this particularly person before during her attendance at the school, but that didn’t necessarily surprise her. She gave a forced smile, and then saw the approaching figure wave.

Reikia instantly returned the gesture, whilst her features became a comfortable smile as he approached. She had always been considered too nice for her own good, but this was no time to criticise her personality. During the first weeks here she had always questioned the warmth and friendliness from the other students, but now it didn’t even cross her mind. Back then it just didn’t seem natural compared to the behaviour from past experiences from other public schools. Each time, however, she was always reminded that no one here was exactly normal after all. Like herself, they were special and processed something that made them unique.

"Hello … and who would be?"

“Nice to meet you Vash,” she responded, nodding slightly in acknowledgment at his extremely formal introduction. “I’m Reikia Pentan.” She would of offered her hand if it wasn’t for the fact she was sat down, and didn’t feel quite like getting up yet. She noticed his accent, but she knew he wasn’t the only one who wasn’t from around this area. Reikia was briefly reminded of Karrody and Ciara she had met earlier. She smiled, realising her voice was slightly odd. Not quite an English accent, but yet not Japanese either. That could be the only problem in some people’s views with mixed parentage after all.

Re: Silence (Open)
Vash simply nodded at the introduction Reikia gave him. With the closer look, and the mingled accents, she seemed to be japanese in some manner. Not uncommon for this school, yet still desernable enough from the public to notice it. He had noticed by the expressions that crossed her face that his overall appearence had puzzled her for a moment. Was she new or had he simply been gone that long? It was difficult to tell with some students, though he assumed this girl could have been a new arrival.

"I hope you do not mind some company," he began in that pleseant tone, "as the lake seems to be a nice, quiet spot to reflect upon one's situation."

The dunpeal then sat down beside his new aquaintence, facing the lake as well. The stillness of the lake relfected their images like a mirror, the scene painted like a picture on a canvas of crystal. He couldn't help but smile once more. A small smile, barely curling his lip, but it was there. The scene was simply too majestic not to enjoy it. He was captivated by everything around him and it clearly showed on the vacant smirk he had on his face, drifting off into his own euphoric thoughts. He would have to bring Amber here sometime to talk...

Re: Silence (Open)
“Of course not,” Reikia answered, nodding slightly unconsciously before smiling once again. This time though it wasn’t her mouth that displayed her happiness, but rather in fact her bright blue eyes. Her dad had commented many times that she looked exactly like her mother, including her dazzlingly eyes. Apparently, her strange naturally hair colour and eyes were her best features. Reikia knew different now though, and the truth was her mother hadn’t processed blue eyes at all. Instead they were a dark brown, but she only knows this for sure because of a picture she had found.

There was a brief silence as both of them appeared to be thinking, mean while the lake gave a small ripple as a leaf fell upon the smooth glasslike surface. It stayed a float, and Reikia suddenly snapped back into focus. Unconsciously, her hand was now clutching the milky pendent that usually hanged freely across her neck. This was the only thing she actually had left from her mother except a few worn photographs. She barely turned to face Vash as she asked a simple but reasonable question. Who else could she be possible be talking too after all? “How long have you been here? I haven’t seen you before.”

Vash looked as though he was in a trance. his eyes were fixated on the lake (it was hard to tell with the hat on) and his body looked to be at peace rather than the stoic rigidness it usually kept. His mind was wandering into his own thoughts, reflecting upon the past few days. It was a strange time for the dunpeal. He couldn't help but think he wasn't doing the right thing being here, but something forced him to stay. What would he tell her? How would he tell her? It was too confusing for someone like him.

His eyes then caught sight of the leaf, fluttering down towards the earth. It danced in the wind like an elegant ballerina, so natural in it's movements. It broke the surface of the lake, ripples streaking outwards towards the edge of the pool of water. It was a magestic sight, something you would see in a great work of art.

"I have been out of the country for a few months," he replied to the girl's question, his eyes staying fixated on the leaf, "and I just recently came back. And yourself? I would remember such a beautiful face if I had seen it before."

Re: Silence (Open)
“My dad a couple of months ago,” Reikia started, shrugging slightly as if it was no big deal at all. She paused for a moment, searching for the correct words to explain why she was here. It wasn’t something that actually crossed her mind before, or someone actually asked. She wasn’t sure how to explain fully, and didn’t want to go into any unnecessary detail. He wasn’t after her life story, nor did she plan on telling it. After all, it wasn’t extremely exciting or unremarkable. It was just almost normal in spite of her abnormality she inherited from her mother.

“I felt guilty I suppose. I just want to improve my ‘gift’ so enrolled,” she answered truthful, nodding slightly. Reikia had unconsciously flexed her fingers as she did so, which gave the word ‘gift’ another obvious meaning. It was one that he would probable get without much trouble or thought in fact. They both attended the same school after all, and people only went there for one reason. Her gaze steadily shifted back from his direction to the waters edge. It was strange sitting here in the tranquillity and do virtually nothing except talk. Well, if they wanted to anyway. “It’s beautiful, isn’t it?”

Reikia shifted uncomfortable, spinning the leaf again in her hand. For once she was totally speechless and had no real idea what to say next. She realised then that the whole idea of just talking in this environment seemed deadly wrong too. Reikia couldn’t help noticing that whenever each other broke the silence it seemed eerie, and almost alienated. Perhaps it was just best to stay silent for the time being, or perhaps Reikia was just frankly too curious for her own wellbeing. He, after all, didn’t volunteer to speak much neither, but she could understand. It was easy, after all, to get lost in one’s thought here. Almost bewitching.

Re: Silence (Open)
Vash only nodded once to confirm he understood the small story she just gave him. A lot of students came here simply to control their powers. There was one unique fact in that story, however. Either she hadn't given him the whole story, or she was unique in the fact that she ahd come here willingly without fuss. Most of the students enrolled at Manag High had some tragic story of prejudice or a heroing tale of mystery about how they gained their gifts.

His eyes kept focused on the lake and the girl joined him in his deep thoughts. There was something about the scene that just sapped away any will to speak. It was replaced by a silent understanding. No words were needed, nothing was worth saying, the understanding just came naturally. It was almost supernatural in a sense, but then again, it seemed to right to give into that feeling.

“It’s beautiful, isn’t it?”

"Mmm..."

Like her, he felt that the silence needed to remain. His thoughts were already distracted by the beauty the lake radiated. The dancing flight of the birds, the hauntingly beautiful voice of the wind, the crystal clear reflection of the lake; alone it would have been dull, but together it was an image of the true magesty of nature. A small smirk formed on his lips and he couldn't help but get lost in the events of the past few days. For once, he felt like his life had no great burden and there was a moment of peace he could enjoy. Specifically, it had been drawn out by Amber and their encounter in the auditorium that fateful day. He still couldn't believe and the moment kept replaying in his head, trying to determine if it was all in his mind or not. It was just that sureal.

"Very beautiful..." he noted, though maybe sounding as if he was talking about something else instead.

Re: Silence (Open)
((Bleh, I'll make something happen in next one))

Reikia nodded unconsciously, but wasn’t properly listening to what he just said. Just like he was thinking, so was she. However, her line of thought was mostly random and slightly erratic. They jumped from different thoughts and ideas to the next, whilst they were mostly about people whom she had met there already during her short stay. How many people had she come across now? At least eight, and those weren’t counting the couple of extras during that strange summer weather. Reikia wasn’t sure what happened even now, except that it involved some strange man in a suit and snowmen.

She frowned momentarily as a new, but unexpected thought sprang into her buzzing mind. “I’m glad someone like you came,” Reikia blurted out without really thinking before hand. Her slightly tanned cheeks reddened with embarrassment. It sounded wrong, but she didn’t really know how to correct it straight away. A major flaw in her personality was her sheer clumsiness and ability to embarrass herself. “I meant there are normally really loud and aggressive people who come here,” Reikia explained. Her voice was quiet as she realised she was spoiling it, but Reikia couldn’t help herself.

Re: Silence (Open)
Vash's attention was quickly grabbed by the anxious girl. They had both been so quiet, lost in thought for a good pause in the conversation. The only real sound had been the leaf twirling in the Reikia's hand and the sweet sounds of nature. It was hypnotic in it's own way. Blissful thoughts of the surrounding area were filling up his mind and massaging it in a relaxing fashion. Then, Reikia pipped up and he snapped back to reality for a moment.

“I’m glad someone like you came. “I meant there are normally really loud and aggressive people who come here.”

The dunpeal couldn't help but smile, a chuckle a little bit. She seemed so worried he would take it the wrong way. It didn't matter, of course, his heart was already destined for someone else. It was simply amusing that her reaction was so animated about something he potentially could have been glad about. Maybe it was just that that scared her, though, and that bothered him a bit. His face twisted slightly for a second before returning to his smile. Humans were queer folk.

"I know," he answered calmly. That unspoken understanding.

Re: Silence (Open)
“Good,” Reikia commented unnecessarily, but it was with a reassured smile. Not the type the appeared obviously, but in fact was present in her blue eyes. Her father had commented her mother’s eyes did the exact same thing when she was happy, in spite of their dark colour. Reikia, though, didn’t actually inherit her eyes directly from her anyway. Instead, they came from several generations ago as she had inherited them from the ancients in from her mother’s family. The blue hair was more common to occur, however, and was an obvious sign they belonged to the infamous Raphael house.

This powerful family didn’t exist any longer except for Reikia, but even she didn’t know this particularly information. Reikia was oblivious to her family heritage, or the fact that blue eyes Raphael’s were the first to be slaughtered. They were feared by the government, and the local gang wars that occurred in the family didn’t help. Luckily for Reikia that no one knew of her exact existence, and the fact she took her fathers name helped a little. The Raphael family were dead, and Earth was wiped clean of their disgraceful existence as far as they were concerned.

Unconsciously, Reikia began messing with the hem of white t-shirt that was trimmed with light blue lace. Anyone crazy enough would actually think that this colour was Reikia’s favourite colour, but this wasn’t exactly true. It was the only colour that Reikia could actually wear without it clashing with her obscure and strange coloured hair. What had that girl called it? Weird? The colour black didn’t even seem to suit it properly, which was the reason she always usually had paired it with white. Perhaps she had been right about buying a bottle of hair dye.

Reikia sighed, shaking her head at the thought. Her hair had always been blue, and she didn’t like the idea of letting this girl persuade her to alter it otherwise. It was the only thing she thought she had left from her mother, except the milky white pendent that was glistening around her very neck. Little did she know that her mother processed the very same healing power Reikia did like the rest of the family. It was only Azrael that was rare, and that Reikia unfortunately had inherited. Her gaze shifted in and out of focus as she glanced up at the lake. “It’s surprising more people don’t visit here.”

“It’s surprising more people don’t visit here.”

Vash finally turned to look at Reikia, a little puzzled by what she just said. Though it was a strange fact that people rarely came to such a beautiful place, wasn't she glad they didn't? It was so much better as a peacful getaway than a hangout for every student. He didn't want the silence to be broken with the chattering of a multitude of conversations. Even this two person dialogue seemed eerily wrong.

"Are you saying," he began "that you would rather a group of people be here? Be thankful few know of this place an enjoy the silence."

He reaffirmed his thoughts with a nod before looking back out towards the water. His mind then wandered against during the pause in coversation. What exactly was the girl thinking of? Now he was curious and that was never a good thing. Usually, Vash was content with a minimal answer because he knew it was one he would give himself. However, once the dunpeal wanted to know something, he would stop at nothing to get a good explination.

"Which brings to mind, what exactly is on yours?"

Re: Silence (Open)
“I didn’t actually say that really,” Reikia paused as she chose her words carefully. Vash appeared slightly confused about what she had just said, and in the girl’s mind she did admit it appeared fairly strange and random. Almost hypocritical to their previous remarks and conversation. Nervously she ran her fingers through her long hair, which accidentally pulled a white ribbon out whilst doing so. She barely seemed to care, however, as she began tying it into an unsymmetrical bow. Reikia was used to it, and it gave her hands something to do for the moment. “But it’s just surprising there currently isn’t.”

"Which brings to mind, what exactly is on yours?"

Reikia didn’t answer straight away, but instead for a moment appeared to be thinking about that same question herself. She blinked surprised as her thoughts trailed once again back to her bright hair and then wherever or not haggis tasted any good. What is haggis anyway? Finally, she gave a small smile as she responded, “Dying my hair.” After all, Reikia didn’t know for sure if she wanted to know what this mysterious food substance was, nor did she even know if Vash knew the answer. She better just keep quiet about that little detail. It’s not like she wants him to think she’s weird or anything. Not that she is of course…

“Dying my hair.”

The reaction he gave was probably unexpected. His quizzical look became even more so as he tried to think of what exactly she was talking about. Dying hair? It sounded like some sort of horrible process! How would one go about killing hair, anyhow? Burning would be much too painful. Maybe some sort of salve or lotion? It couldn't have been too pleasent, as the properties would have to be somewhat acidic. He almost shuddered at the thought. Who knew beauty was so painful?

"But-but-," he stammered, the shocked and confused look still on his face, "your hair is so beautiful. Why would you want to do that to it?"

His eyes were wide and the brim of his hat was tilted upwards for a moment. The expression was almost that of horrified, but without true fear. Her long, luxurious blue hair would be envied by most girls. She was definately pretty and the hunter couldn't deny that, no matter where his true feelings were. To "die" one's own hair, especially in her cas,e seemed like madness to the dunpeal. You had to remember though, he came from a very different country. Maybe there was a reason?

"And...um...Why would you want to do that?" he asked, trying to regain his composure after the initial shock.

Re: Silence (Open)
At all the reaction Reikia had suspected from the stranger, she wasn’t actually quite prepared for the one he displayed. It was pure and natural shock, the exact opposite of agreement or any other form of reaction that could possible show he understood. In the worst circumstances Reikia had probable expected some snide or sarcastic remark about the colour of it. Reikia wasn’t really the one to argue or fight unnecessarily, and she was the type of girl comments like that bounced off. However, every now and again a few of them got through her tough and happy exterior. Hell, she was pretty used to it by now.

Reikia had thought many people would have instantly recognised the possible reasons by her thinking to commit such an act, but Reikia was totally unaware about Vash’s country of origin. In Japan, where she had grown up, it hadn’t really approved to have ones hair dyed, but those who didn’t approve had never came across someone with hair like Reikia. To some extent even her father had agreed with those certain people, but yet Reikia thought this very hypocritical. Mina’s hair had been the very same blue, and he still could love her.

Finally, Reikia sighed in aspiration she would have to give an answer no matter how truthful or embarrassing the situation was. She didn’t like to admit she was the victim or what could only be deemed bullying, but Reikia wasn’t prepared to lie either. “To make people leave me alone,” she started, before shrugging slightly. Her gaze was still focused on the blue painted sky, which gave the distant impression she didn’t truly care about the others. Her voice was very calm, but with a hint of firm matter of fact. “They think it’s weird, not beautiful. I suppose I want to fit in.”

Re: Silence (Open)
Again, a perplexed face ruled over the dunpeal's variety of expressions. How was killing your hair going to help with fitting in? America puzzled him sometimes. It was a cultural barrier he was sure he would never fully adjust to. The capitalist ways of the United Sates were something to be in awe of, but also something that confused people from the communist block to no end.

That wasn't the issue at this point, however. Reikia seemed very apprehensive about staying true to herself. Bullying did that to people. A person's feelings were far more eaisly broken than bones. It seemed the girl was having trouble accepting how she was, which was curious, because she had no trouble admitting she had some sort of strange and unique gift. Simply by attending Manga High you were given a particular label that wasn't the greatest around Buffalo. Still, maybe there was still some unacceptance around the students of highschool itself. He had noticed particular groups for in his time here. Relationships found and shattered on several occasions, splitting the students into factions and cliques.

"I suppose," the dunpeal began, deep in thought about the situation, "however I would say that people who cannot accept you for exactly what you are are not worth the time of day to change for."

A small smile formed on Vash's face, giving him a more pleasent look as he stared off into nothing. He could remember the horrible people that had shunned him, and still do, for his own heritage. Maybe he did have a monsterous background, but did that make him a monster too? Sometimes he believed that, sometimes he didn't. It was all a matter of perspective to him and sometimes you simply view the wrong one. People need to be judged mroe by merit than appearence... he thought, the smile fading for a moment as his thoughts led to darker feelings. It quickly returned to it's post, however, before he stretched his arms a little and focused his eyes back on the lake.

"I still do not see why you would wish to kill your hair..." he noted, as an after thought to poke fun at the idiocy of American culture.

Re: Silence (Open)
Reikia nodded in confirmation as her concentration moved once again. This time she was gazing directly at her white ribbon, which had formed a messy tangle in her hands. “Yes. Your right,” Reikia said quietly, without really thinking beforehand. Her blue eyes had narrowed in attention to the piece of ribbon, whilst her fingers worked to untangling it. When it was finally free of its miniature knot, Reikia once again tied it into some random way that only resulted to form a similar knot. Her fingers twitched in hesitation at Vash’s next comment, and he gained her attention immediately.

“Kill my…?” Reikia asked, blinking in surprise as she repeated the words out loud to herself. No wonder it appeared he was confused earlier. Before Vash could likely answer the question, Reikia had already started laughing as the thought slowly sunk into her mind. A hand went up, leaving the white twisted ribbon behind, to cover her mouth in a polite gesture to muffle the sound. Reikia wasn’t laughing at him, but just found it amusing he thought she literally was going to kill her hair. How would one actually go about that anyway?

“I didn’t mean kill it silly,” Reikia responded after steadily calming down, but couldn’t resist the urge on poking him gently on the arm with a finger. She sighed, her mouth forming a safe smile as she looked at him. Her voice was light and humorous as she spoke, which was an obvious sign that she wasn’t calling him ‘silly’ offensively. Reikia still thought it was amazing he had misinterpreted her, but after she thought about it, she could quite easily make the same mistake if she didn’t know what a hair dye was. “I meant I want to change the colour of it.”

“Kill my…?”

Reikia seemed somewhat confused by his statement. Then the laughing started. He was a little shocked by it, but she seemed playful enough about it. A familiar poke to the arm teased him further. It was confusing as to why she was giggling. It had been what she ment, right? He was sure she had specifically said "die" when she was explaining herself. A simple scratch of the head as he looked back at the girl gave away his need for some sort of explination of her outburst.

“I didn’t mean kill it silly.”

That at least explained one part of the equation. Now he simply needed to know what exactly she ment. With a name like "dieing", it was difficult to understand why it wouldn't be just that. Then again, it didn't make much sense in the first place. A more pleasent look replaced his confused one as he realised the joke. It did seem quite silly to think people acctually tired to destroy their hair, especially for fashion. He was aware that beauty came at a price, but having no hair seemed a little steep to him.

“I meant I want to change the colour of it.”

"Now why would you do that?" the dunpeal question, almost rehtorically. "I particularly believe your hair looks perfect. Such a captivating blue. I doubt very many have hair of that colour. Or, at least, naturally. What would be the point of making yourself bland?"

It at least made more sense at this point. However, that magnificent shade of turquoise blew away more common colours such as blond or brunette. Even the occasional red head had nothing the unique aspects of Reikia's blue hair. He rathered enjoyed it, oddities having always interested the dunpeal. It was a sign of being special in some way, a mark of purpose in this world. At least, that's how he saw it.

“Like I said, I want to fit in,” she answered. In spite of the fact that the question from Vash seemed somewhat rhetorical, Reikia still answered. She was the type of person that answered questions like that without actually realising until afterwards that they shouldn’t be answered. Reikia certainly had her ditsy moments, but the girl was naturally clumsy in the first place. Her heart was in the right place though, and constantly putting others before herself. With these kind of qualities, the bad ones simply didn’t matter or get noticed anymore. They just added more to her kind exterior.

As Rei reflected Vash’s response, a slender finger poked her cheek. Her eyes were cast to the sky again, which was a habit she had picked up recently whilst she was clearly thinking about something. In fact, this time Reikia had expected that kind of reaction from and didn’t show any astonishment. She was just contemplating the question and her own answer, before finally deducting a similar response herself. It was rare and rare things were often considered beautiful and precious? Maybe even important in some respects? She smiled at the thought, suddenly reassured.

“Thanks,” Reikia replied simply as her eyes slowly returned to him. She shrugged half heartedly, as she smiled again. Her hands were relaxed in her lap, whilst one of the loops was tied around a finger. She didn’t care, nor did she notice. Reikia was currently happy again, and the whole cafertia incident felt miles away. She still felt the need to explain herself for her own line of thought which had lead to that decision. She subconsciously felt like she had done something wrong, but couldn’t pin point why. However, she had of course decided against that choice and resumed to enjoying the outdoors.

Reikia was a curious one. Everyone wanted to fit in, but that was clearly not possible when you were attending this school. It was a label you would live with forever. People in Buffalo were starting to become privy to the oddities Manga High created. More and more people were beginning to question what exactly went on inside the school. Some residence even knew! It was a fact of life and hiding it was difficult. The attempt at decieving those around you of what you were was almsot futile, though he didn't have the heart to outright tell the girl that.

However, it wasn't nessesary. She seemed to finally understand the gift she was given. Differences are good! They make your experiences diverse and worth having. The dunpeal always found something interesting around MHs if only for that reason. So many cultures, thoughts, abilties; it was overwhelming at times. He enjoyed the diversity of the school. How someone wouldn't enjoy to be as diverse as those around her was a challenging ideal to grasp for the hunter. Reikia finally saw this and seemed to be reassured by the idea. It seemed to boost the confidence she ahd in herself and maybe gave her a little pride in her appearence.

“Thanks.”

It made him smile, to say the least. Helping people was something he enjoyed, and helping someone without raising a blade was rare and rewarding for the fighter. He tipped his hat in acknowledgment and took the silent advise given to simply have another lull in the conversation. The peace was welcomed as the pride he had obtained was enough to keep him satisfied for the moment. Tipping his hat down to completely cover his face, he looked as though he was about to doze off.

Re: Silence (Open)
Gradually, Reikia somewhat gracefully stood up before looking down at the man she had just met what could only be like ten minutes ago. As silently as she could she brushed herself down from the leaves and grass that had gathered in her lap with a soft smile. The leaf she had been twirling was left forgotten on the patch of grass besides him, but Reikia didn’t take any notice. He appeared to be sleeping, but there was nagging feeling it would just be rude to leave without any notice. However, it would be equally rude to disturb him if he was truly sleeping underneath his hat and this left Reikia confused about what to do.

Instead, Reikia merely twisted the white long ribbon back into her blue locks as she waited. There was the slight of chance he wasn’t perhaps really asleep after all, or she could accidentally wake him up doing so. She paused for a moment, before nodding unconsciously as she decided what to do; Reikia couldn’t really stay any longer. Slowly, Reikia stepped away from the tree and gave a small wave even if he might not be watching. She didn’t want to wake him up, but if she was to say goodbye whilst he was asleep with the chance of him waking up didn’t sound too bad either. Thus, Reikia smiled.

“I have to leave now. Bye!"
