Silver Tear Drops Silver Tear Drops
Petite glassy rain droplets... Silver tear drops Silver rains An Image inside Of a baby Tucked away The image turns From baby to man... Still tucked away And the tear drop falls So very slow About to slam Into the hardness of earth A hand appears To catch the fall In a tattooed palm Sputters ... Splashes From the busted tear drop Dampens my gaping stare It wasn’t a man That fell in that hand ...But an image of me Standing safely in the palm Of a gigantic hand ...Soaked... My attention turned To the One with the hand ...It started over again This time I saw The tear from His eye Had encompass my image Again I am falling From His eye down his cheek Suspended in the air Falling.... Until I reach The Palm of Hand. I hear Him Speak I Cry Silver Tear Drops In the image of you Praying always You’ll make it through Asking My Father To Give Me You My Silver Tear Drops Are My Heart Wrapped around You copyright Carla Rickard
