Allessia Santos walked out onto the grounds, and towards the lake, with a depressed look taking over her normally cheery face. She had been attending Hogwarts for about 2 weeks now, and was becoming homesick. She wasn't used to being around so many people at one time; I mean, if you were raised on a farm your usual companions would probably be cows and chickens.
Allie didn't like how there were so many walls in Hogwarts, and so many rules and boundries. She missed walking through the jungle, and picking some random way to go; because back home, there were no boundries...No rules. Back home, in her familly's hut of a house, she was free to do whatever she wanted, whenever she wanted. She would only have to take about 3 classes; English Language class, Math, and Science.
As the pretty Brazilian girl reached the lake, she sighed. She then bent down, and picked up a nice flat stone, and, with a sullen look still on her face, flung it out into the lake, giving it about 4 good hops.

"Wow, you're pretty good at this, huh?" asked a pretty blond Slytherin whose long yellow hair fell in sheets down her back. She smiled, picking up her own rock, which she flung and landed with a PLOP in the water.
"Yeah... I guess I missed the boat on the rock skipping skill. I've never been good at it... I'm Bridget Kaligaris, by the way... Sorry for rambling without introducing myself," the blond said, chuckling.

Allie grinned at the arrival, trying to hide her depression. She giggled, a tiny bit, and then looked to Bridget."Eet ees not a big skill, anyway." She said, in her deep brazilian accent. "I am Allessia Santos, Allie for short. Eet ees a pleasure to meet you."

"Well, I might have to disagree... it's a skill that attracts a crowd. Or at least a Bridget," the blond said, grinning.
"And it's very nice to meet you too, Allie... Your accents really cool, by the way. Where are you from?" Bridget asked curiously.

Under the burning sun himself, a younger boy had been sitting in an Indian-position for quite a while, a stray hat covering his entire head as an umbrella would. He had his problems with sunlight, which if he stared at too much, would leave him temporarily blind for a few days, even weeks.
He'd been concentrating within just listening overall, trying to improve his earsights and taking the time to consider the life in Hogwarts. It was definitely different than the Marina he now resided in...or the Five Peaks. It was then when the sounds of a rock skipping across the lake interrupted his thoughts, alongside talks from the girls.
However, he never moved an inch...he just decided to continue enjoying the environment overall.
