We have added a few things to the requirements to power and ability upgrades. Be sure and read the details in the most recent update when you request a new power / upgrade.
Well, its the weekend here at MHS. Wouldn't it be great if all schools started on a Friday for the first day of school. What a way to start off. You get a weekend right after your first day. Well, this is because we are done with the first day of class. How so you ask. As you only went to one class. yes, but I am sure that doing the same thing for each class would get boring. So the one class you experienced is basically how all the classes are going to be.
Teacher posts role. Day gets started, end of class happens, everyone goes to their next class, or home..
Well, ezboard still hasn't confirmed anything on a final date when everything is changed over to Yuku. And we are working on what to do next. We all want user friendliness after everything is changed away from Ezbaord, and we are trying everything we can to ensure that we have just that when we are at a new board hosting site.

Skipping through the flowers (eddie's chara)
It wasn't quite a beautiful day, but it wasn't really miserable either. The skies were full of gray clouds, and the sun was mostly blocked from view. There would be rain later on that evening, but for the next few hours, the weather would be fine. It was cool out, and a hard breeze blew across the campus. Most people wouldn't enjoy such weather quite so much; but as long as there was wind, Saori was happy.
As Saori skipped through the rows of flowers, she hummed softly. It was perfect out here today, with the breeze that blew through her hair, her clothes, over her body.....she felt at home with the wind, and the stronger it was the better she felt. As a plus, she was the only one in the garden, and could be herself.
Or so she thought....
Her big, emerald eyes fell upon an especially pretty flower as she skipped along, and she smiled to herself, mentally noting its beauty. As she pulled her long, thick green bangs from her eyes and tucked them behind her ear, she leaned over to the flower, burying her nose in it and taking a deep sniff of it. A few bits of pollen came with the scent, and she had to pull back and let out a small, cute squeak of a sneeze.
After shaking it off, she continued down the row, smiling to herself as she hummed her favorite tune, a song her mother had sung to her as a baby.
She felt a little lonely, but she ignored that feeling. After all....she preferred being by herself to being teased by someone....and she was sure that people would do such a thing, considering what she'd gone through before....

Lucas was sitting underneath a tree not too far away from Saori, and had been there for a little while now. He was surprised he'd never been there before, the garden looked like the perfect quiet place for him to read, write, and maybe play a little saxophone. There was no doubt that the beauty from the place had inspired him write and play, and not too long ago he was trying to decide which one to do.
The blue haired boy's musical side got the better of him today, and he had decided to play for a while. After all, Lucas was always better writing when Stella was around him. She inspired him more than any amount of beautiful scenery ever could, he just wished he could tell her that. But right now wasn't about Stella, and Lucas pushed all thoughts of her aside for a while.
After taking his blue and gold coloured saxophone from its case, the musician placed his fingers on the keys and mentally counted himself in. For a day like this the best kind of music to play was the blues, and as his emerald eyes came to a close, he began to play whatever came into his head. His seven years of practice made him sound like a professional as he played, trying to make the music sound as good as he possibly could as it echoed through the quiet garden.

Suddenly, Saori stopped. Tilting her head back, she began to look around, her emerald eyes wandering over the whole area. Music had filled the air; and while it was beautiful and enjoyable, it could only mean one thing: people. After all, the music had to come from somewhere. But where?
When her eyes fell on a boy sitting beneath a tree, she let out a quite audible loud squeal in surprise, and blushed deeply from embarrassment. She had been making a fool of herself, skipping about like that! What if he had seen?! She immediately ducked down behind the row of flowers, attempting (and failing miserably) to remain hidden. Unfortunately, the row failed to hide the top of her head, and it was likely that Lucas could see her through the bushes.
She turned around, facing the other direction. Her eyes were wide, and she placed a hand over her chest, where she could feel her heart racing, pounding against her chest in fear. She was so afraid of what would happen. If he'd seen her, he was likely to think she was silly or weird, and would probably hate her for it....
"Oh no, it's going to be just like home! There's no way that boy will ever like me now...." She thought to herself, as she shook behind the tree. "I don't want him to make fun of me, I don't want to be teased!!" She was so afraid of emotional pain, and of being hated, after all of the torment she'd gone through....

Though the music he created filled his ears, Lucas heard a faint squeal. He suddenly stopped and looked around, spying a lady trying to hide behind bushes. After staring for a moment, the musician placed his instrument in the case, closed it and picked it up over his shoulder. He slowly walked over to her.
Lucas knelt down to the bushes and flowers and pushed them aside lightly, in attempts to see her better. Curiously, Lucas tapped her on the shoulder. " Um... excuse me miss? Are you alright? Why are you hiding here?" He asked, stopping himself from asking more questions. The boy had a habit of getting too inquisitive if he ever thought something was wrong.

Suddenly, there was a tap on her shoulder. Saori had been completely lost in thought, and had not expected anything to touch her like that. Such a thing had been happening a lot since she'd arrived at MHS, one had to wonder if it was planned this way. Immediately, she let out another squeal, louder than the first, and leapt forward, spinning around to face her "attacker." One hand extended out to instinctively shoot a gust of wind at Lucas in defense; and it would have hit, if her feet had not landed on a patch of mud. Apparently, someone had missed the flowers when watering them...
Her feet slipped out from under her, and she fell backwards, landing hard in the mud. Her arm flailed above her, blowing the wind at the trees instead of the boy, causing little more than a rustling of leaves. For a moment, she was dazed, sitting on the ground, not sure what had just happened.
Then, she looked down. Her whole body was covered in patches of thick, brown mud. Her white shirt was ruined; mud was in her long, thick green hair; her skirt was simply a mess, with her entire rear covered in mud. And she was shaking hard, so afraid, so embarrassed, she didn't even know what to do for a moment. With so much else happening, she didn't even think to close her legs, to keep Lucas from seeing up her skirt.
Without even listening to his words (she was far too ashamed of herself), she spun around and began crawling away, trying to escape behind the bushes again. All this did was get her even dirtier, as she scrambled on her hands and knees to escape before he began teasing her. And then, she slipped again, landing flat on her belly, and completely covering herself in mud.
Now, she was too afraid to even move. She simply cowered in a ball on the ground, crying, tears streaming down her face, leaving messy trails of watery mud on her cheeks. She didn't know what to do, everything was closing in on her. This boy was going to make fun of her, torment her, and she couldn't escape; it was her greatest fear, come to life....
And with all the wind magic in the world, she couldn't seem to escape from the mud....

Lucas watched her fall. She was all covered in mud and he felt as though it was his fault because he came up to her unannounced. After mentally cursing himself about that, Lucas was about to help her up when she started crawling away. Maybe he should have left her, she seemed like she didn't want him around. He just watched her as she fell again, then started crying? That was surprising for him.
Though he felt as though she wanted him to leave, the emerald eyed boy crawled after her, his navy pants getting mud all over them. He didn't care if his clothes got all messed up. He'd upset someone, and that was something he hated to do. Now what did he do? Lucas decided to try and talk to her first. " Hey, I'm sorry for startling you... uh... Please don't be upset." He managed to get out.
His words didn't seem to be getting through to her. Lucas reached over and picked her up so she was at least sitting down. After cleaning his muddy hand on his white shirt, Lucas tried to wipe the mud from her cheeks. " Hey there, are you alright?" He asked, his voice quiet and full of concern.

She felt him grab her, and she just trembled in his grasp. There wasn't much else she could do at this point; she couldn't escape the mud, so all that she could hope right now was that, if she let him do what he wanted to her, he might leave her alone afterwards. If she fought back even the slightest bit, she would only prolong her suffering. At least, that's what experience had taught her: be as obedient and submissive as possible to minimize the pain.
"Hey, I'm sorry for startling you... uh... Please don't be upset."
What was this? HE was apoligizing to HER? She blinked a couple times, and looked up at him, emerald eyes wide and full of confused innocence. It didn't make sense to her why he would say that, or even care if she was upset. After all, what was she worth, especially to a stranger? Her experiences caused her to have very little self-worth or self-confidence, and ever since she'd arrived at this school, her interactions had puzzled her quite a lot....
But she'd stopped crying. A few more sobs escaped her, but her tears had all but stopped. She squeaked cutely as she felt his hand on her face, wiping the mud and tears away, but she didn't fight it. She was nervous, and deeply ashamed at her actions, as was apparent by the blush and the non-stop shaking; at the same time, she was shocked at the turn of events, and the couldn't get her mind around the situation. So, for a moment, she sat in Lucas's arms silently, looking up at him through the thick, muddy bangs that hung in her face, giving in to his actions.
" Hey there, are you alright?"
She nodded, and the blush on her face deepened. Her head lowered, and she looked at the ground between her knees, her hands resting on either side of her to support her body.
"I...I'm so sorry..." Was all she could think to say.

Lucas watched her look away from him. It was fine, he wasn't going to make her look at him. He studied her for a moment, realising how much mud she'd managed to get on herself. Then he looked to himself. Though the young man wasn't as muddy as she was, it was the muddiest he'd ever been in his life. Still, that thought didn't bother him. His main priority at that moment was looking after the sad girl beside him.
"I...I'm so sorry..."
As he started to gently remove some of the mud from her hair, the musician spoke. " It's fine, I shouldn't have scared you like that." He began, smiling at her even if she couldn't see it. " My name is Lucas, what's yours?" He asked, still speaking in a soft calm voice. He didn't want to scare her or anything like that, since he still didn't really know why she freaked out.

She blushed a bit as she felt his fingers going through her hair. Even if it was to remove the mud, it was a little strange. She could feel it, and...somehow...it felt nice, being touched, sort of like this boy at least cared a little about her. She knew it was impossible, the vast majority of people teased her, so she was sure she couldn't be liked so soon after they'd met...
It confused her....
"I...I'm Saori." She blushed, still looking down at the ground beside her. Her eyes lifted to his for only a fleeting second, looking through her bangs without moving her head, before she bowed the best she could from a seated position. "N-nice to meet you....L-Lucas..." She lowered her eyes once more, as her voice trailed off. It wasn't difficult for her to thank him; what was hard was her mentioning his touching her. It embarrassed her deeply, but somehow she felt as if not mentioning it made the feeling go away.
"Uhhm, I uhh....I just...." She couldn't explain herself either....as she heard her own voice speaking, it simply became more difficult for her to say what had happened. After all, it had been quite an embarrassing situation....and she was quite afraid of telling him that she'd thought he was going to hate her....what if that provoked him into doing it?
Finally, she just fell silent. She didn't know what else to do....

" Nice to meet you to." Lucas replied, in a friendly tone. At this point, he wasn't sure what else he should say. Usually he brought how his toy soldier Jon and brought him to life, but the idea of a talking toy might scare the girl. No, Lucas would leave his toy out of it. The last thing he wanted to do was scare her, since she already seemed in a bit of a freaked out state.
He wondered if Saori wanted to stay here or leave. All Lucas knew was that she was embarrassed about the situation. He wouldn't ask about leaving yet. Instead he'd just sit there with her until she felt even the slightest bit comfortable with him around. Lucas stopped trying to get the mud out of her hair. He thought it might have been one of the reasons why she was embarrassed. After all, he did just meet her. " Are you alright?" He asked again, though he wasn't irritated that he couldn't get an answer.

He stopped touching her, and steadily her breathing became normal again. The blush faded from her face slightly after a moment, and she seemed calmer. She had liked it a little, but was now much more relieved than disappointed; it was rather uncomfortable to have been in that position. She pulled her knees up against her chest and wrapped her arms around them, curling up as if to defend and protect herself.
Still, somehow, she felt a little more comfortable around Lucas, and it showed in her body language: she wasn't nearly as scared anymore, just extremely nervous and embarrassed.
" Are you alright?"
She blinked and looked up at him, then her eyes got wide and she blushed deeply. It was quite obvious that she had suddenly realized she'd ignored his last question by accident! A frown crossed her face, and she looked extremely embarrassed and worried.
"I'm so sorry!! I...I didn't mean...I just...didn't hear you!!" She squirmed a but uncomfortably. At first, she thought maybe he was annoyed with her; and such a thing would be awful! But as she thought more, she realized that the tone of his voice wasn't one of irritation, and she breathed a sigh of relief.
"I...I'm fine...thank you...." She looked up at him, and gave him a small, shy smile - a first!!

Well it seemed that Lucas was right about one thing: She was embarrassed because he was touching her hair. It didn't bother him that she was, he was only trying to be nice after all. But he could tell that she got a little calmer when he stopped. His actions probably weren't how a normal person would act, but when it came to Lucas, he tried to help out as much as he could.
"I...I'm fine...thank you...."
And then Saori smiled, something the young musician hadn't seen before. " No problem, it's good to know that your ok." Lucas replied. He looked around slightly, unable to see anyone else in the gardens. " Well, would you like to stay here for a while or get out of the garden we're sitting in?" He asked. He guessed that she wouldn't want to go anywhere with mud all over her, which was why he checked to see if anyone was around before asking.

A question? What would she like to do? Saori blinked a couple of times, before her eyes widened. Her mind raced: how could she answer such a question when she was caught off-guard? Actually, she didn't really know how to answer that question anyways. She wasn't sure what she wanted to do at this point; her mind was completely blank at the moment, everything was happening to fast...

Just like before, her voice had come out very meek and small; even though the fear had faded, she was still quite the submissive one, and would not likely ever be the one to choose the event...
Her eyes drifted down to her own self, and she saw her once-white blouse and red skirt were now a dark, deep brown. She was covered in a thick layer of mud, which seemed to be drying now. A small, cute sigh escaped her, and she lifted a hand to rub her opposite arm nervously. She would sure like a bath right about now; but that was not something she would ever suggest to someone else!!

Lucas just smiled at Saori again. She was so innocent and nervous, it just made him smile, even if he couldn't explain it. " It doesn't bother me what we do. If your comfortable here than that's fine. I'll sit here with you if you want, it's no trouble to me. I just thought that you might be uncomfortable with mud all over you, that's all." He explained, keeping that friendly tone obvious in his voice when he spoke. He didn't want to try and make her do anything or any of that, he would help her at her own pace.

He wouldn't make up his mind either, which sort of left Saori in a bit of an awkward position. She nodded a bit in response to him and lowered her eyes to focus on the ground beneath her, thinking for a moment. There was no way this shy, innocent girl was going to tell him what to do! No, she didn't have the kind of voice to speak up about where they would go or what they would do. She was the sort to stay in the back, to follow others wherever they led...she didn't mind what happened, as long as she wasn't put in an uncomfortable position.
"Oh, no! I...I don't mind what we do..." She pressed her index fingers together shyly, a faint crimson filling her cheeks once again. "You...I....how else would I get the mud off of me?" She blushed a little deeper at the thought of talking about "baths" or anything having to do with nakedness with a stranger....
Slowly, she lifted her eyes to him, giving him a look full of innocence. She would lead where he followed, without question. It was her nature to be obedient and submissive; but she wouldn't tell him that....

Lucas stretched his legs out and looked to his pants. The front them was covered in mud, and the back probably was too. But it didn't bother him. A pair of pants was something he could easily get back. Shrugging his thoughts away, Lucas turned his attention back to Saori. It seemed that she didn't know what to do, and it wasn't like Lucas to make decisions for people.
"You...I....how else would I get the mud off of me?"
Lucas pondered on the question for a moment. " Well, the most obvious way to get mud off yourself would be to have a bath." He explained. That was the most logical answer to give, Lucas didn't know if there were any other easy ways to get mud off someone, unless she tried to sit there and pick it all off, but that wouldn't be very smart.

Oh, how she'd hoped not to talk about this with him! Immediately, she blushed deeper. Her hands raised to her cheeks, as if to hide the color that now formed there, and she squirmed a bit nervously. What should she do now? She could try to change the subject and come up with something else to do....but what could they do? Besides, Saori wasn't very good with words; she'd probably only continue to make a fool of herself.

Still, it was really quite embarrassing to talk of a bath with a stranger; those were private things, and poor shy little Saori's head was reeling at the current conversation topic! She squirmed a bit, as she looked down at the ground beneath her.
"I...uhhm...I dunno..." She squirmed a bit, as she hesitated. She didn't really know what to do. Making a decision was never her strong point; she was a follower at best, never a leader! She could never tell someone else what to do! She giggled nervously, before continuing, "I...why don't...you decide what to do....?"

Lucas watched her squirm and blush. Perhaps he shouldn't have said what he did. Oh well, at least it let her know that he wasn't going to try anything stupid. So she was putting it all on him. Fair enough. Lucas would just follow the most logical solution to the problem. He stood up quickly, and his head came into contact with several twigs, then a branch. Bringing his left hand up, Lucas rubbed the spot where it hit lightly. He showed pain on his face, but replaced that look with a smile as he looked down to Saori and held his hand out to her. " For starters, how about we get out of this mud." He said.

Her eyes wandered down over herself, and she blushed a bit. That was probably a good idea, after all: she was nearly completely covered in mud. Usually, she would probably have been absolutely scared to death about what he must think of her in this predicament....if that situation hadn't already come and passed. Still, Lucas remained there, and he continued to be nice to her....
It confused her deeply, but she was grateful that he wasn't teasing her.
After he spoke, Saori lifted her gaze back to Lucas. Curiously, she tilted her head to the side, before blushing a little more. She pressed her index fingers together nervously, as she waited for him to continue...and when he didn't, she had to blink a few times, not really understanding his suggestion. It was very vague; what was it he wanted to do?
"I...uhhm..." She mumbled nervously. It didn't feel right to question his answer; she hoped he didn't take it the wrong way.....if he disliked her for this, it would make her feel awful! Still, she had no other choice, she had to step out on a limb here. After all, what would she do if she didn't know what he wanted her to do? "H-how should we do it....?"
