Snare dagger
Does anyone have experience with both Tendonslicer and the Dart of Immobility? I'm wondering which will be better as a snare utility weapon. DOI of course has better dps, but as this will be situational and offhand (or swapped), I don't worry too much about it.
DOI checks poison resist at (-30), while Tendonsliver checks MR at (-300). I'm thinking the Tendonslicer would be resisted, less , due to the huge modifier, but if anyone can tell from experience, that would be better.
I use Tendonslicer situationally a LOT. It also comes with a -50 hate reducer which makes a big deal on aggro from my experience. As far as resisting the snare I can tell you that most mobs all the way up to GoD do NOT resist it much. In fact if I mainhand it when we are short someone to snare it has yet to fail me. It procs a lot. Ive passed on the DoI personally do to it being a fairly high aggro weapon and already having tendonslicer. All in all I guess id go with which ever pops first for you. I can tell you on 9 AL kills ive seen 1. Not sure on DoI drop rate although ive heard its pretty good.

Re: Snare dagger
neg 300 resist is pretty hard to resist, especially in PvP. Neg 30 isn't bad it's no where near the TS resist check. Once you get WA5, the loss of dps isn't too bad when using a TS until it procs.
Re: Snare dagger
Tendonslicer owns for snare, unless the mob is immune is it basicly never resisted. In PvP its the bomb, there is nothing people hate worse then being snared and this is so reliable a snare.

Yeah, Tendonslicer is almost never resisted. It's killer in PvP, it's great in general. I mainhanded it for months, was only resisted twice vs. NPCs not immune to snare - Vyemm and a Glimmer Drake.
The downside to it is that the snare duration is unreliable.
