Solo Renux With Druid Main On Same Acct
Ok, my rogue (love her to death) is my alt. I have a 65 Druid who has helped a couple rogues with Renux in her time. I was pretty sure I could solo her, but my toons are on the same account. I hate asking people to help me get my epic for my alt. So, I really wanted to get Renux by myself. And I actually managed to pull it off. Here's what I did:
There is a spot near the dragon bones in SF where Yendar Starpyre stops his march for a bit. I camped my druid there with her swarming line of DoTs up (they are -150 check against magic and Renux has HIGH MR). Then I logged my rogue, ran to the spot and waited for the gnome. I turned in the Book of Souls and the parchment and immediately smacked my sneak/hide button. Renux didnt agro!
Next, I sat down and camped to my Druid, who was parked a safe distance away and SoE-ed. Fortunately, Renux hadn't despawned. I targeted and snared her. And she resisted. So I ran around and kept trying to snare her. On the EIGHTH try it stuck. From then on, I dotted and kited her to death. (Unless you have sick mana regen, I recommend a KEI. I didnt have it and was down to 20M.) Then I just logged to my rogue and picked the corpse clean!

Grats to you. I am kinda in the same boat, Main in druid, alt is rog on same account. But Rog is not high enough just yet to be doing epic and i think i will just get a few people together to help out.
The only experience i have had with Renux is i snared her for someone, and it resisted and she beat the snot out of me. (i was in my 50s at the time tho!)

Man... the safehouse sure has changed where a thread like this isn't flamed into cinders hehe. Twink Rogues used to be sooo hated. But i guess now its the way its done.

Yes i may be a twink rog, but its all about the journey. I am having such a great time playing a melee character, especially one with the skills and abilities of a rog.
We all gotta play one class first, so what if mine wasent a rog?

Renux is on Circle of Unseen Hands faction, I believe. She does not automatically aggro unless you are KoS to her faction.
I bow-kite her with my ranger easily.

I did the same thing when I was working on the Box of souls for the HE mask. Was like 2pm in the afternoon and no one was on to ask for help, so I said F it and did it. BTW AFAIK Renux spawns indifferent. Not sure if that depends on your faction with her or not.
