Something Deeper...(Fawkes)
Arion slowly approached the beautiful waterfall, gentle mist caressing her fair and soft skin. Softly smiling to herself she looked up at the azure sky, everything so calm and quiet. She was waiting for him...Fawkes, the guy who she knew was from the same region she was.
Somethings ran deeper than aquaintance, and Arion had thought it before. She knew that blood called to blood just as the light called to darkness. Before she knew it, she had slipped down into a dark sapphire one peice, and jumped in the water.
Now, why did she do that? She knew this guy was coming and now, she was in the water. Still, the water seemed heated, like it came from an underground hot spring. She lay there a second, letting the warm water cause her a pleasurable shivver. Then she opened her eyes to look at the endless blue sky, and she wondered if perhaps, someone back home would see it too. Sighing to herself, she then took a deep breath and dove herself underwater. The water was remarkably clear, so she was able to swim all the way up to the rocks that seemed to guard the water fall. The current was pushing her back, but she clung to the rock and pushed herself up. With her long dark curls clinging to her back, she thought she almost looked like a mermaid out of legend.

Re: Something Deeper...(Fawkes)
It wasn't long until Fawkes arrived, wandering out onto the banks of the water, quietly ignoring the faint singing of one of his fireflies, floating by his ear. It wasn't long until he saw Arion, with a quiet, but sharp intake of breath and the sudden shift of his eyes from silver-blue to green-gold, glowing brighter than before. The few fireflies hovering around him all vanished.

He looked over Arion, for a moment in awe. She reminded him of some of the mythical water spirits he'd read about in his family's library, stunning without being remote.

"Hey." He said eventually, softly, a smile playing across his lips.

Re: Something Deeper...(Fawkes)
At the sudden voice, Arion's first instinct was to duck under water in surprise and fear. But then, she internally slapped herself. It was proabbly that boy she was to meet here, he had come at last, and here she was as timid as a bunny!
Growling, she turned under water and swam to the edge where she knew he would be waiting, her heart racing. Why was it doing that? It was, after all, just a boy. But then again, growing up, she had had so few interactios with the real world and it was really weird when she contacted with other humans. Looking up, she kicked herself up from the ground and thrust herself up.
She finally poked her upper head out from the water, her brown eyes looking into his golden green eyes...wait...weren't they blue last time? SHe sighed and told herself not to be silly. She finally stood up, her arms resting on the nearest rock by the shore. She looked up at him, it was so odd. Last time, she didn't have this kind of reaction but...this time...she felt a shivver going down her spine. Perhaps it was because she was alone with him...
"Hi," she said softly, her curioisty showing in her voice, "I don't know what came over me...I guess I just got bored and then there was this really hot water and it was really cold out side and-"
She stopped herself, she was obviously talking really quick and obviously nervous. She sighed and cleared her mind. What the flip was wrong with her? It was just Fawkes...
"I mean...do you want to come in?"

"You don't need to explain. I probably would've gone for a swim too," Fawkes replied gently, grinning slightly. "And aye, I'd love to come in. Give me a moment and I'll be right there."

He methodically, and a little bit slowly, pulled off his shoes and socks, stumbling a little bit, because he was looking at her instead of his feet, before dragging his eyes away from her to look at what he was doing. Setting both shoes and socks to one side, he pulled off his shirt, folding it up and putting it aside.

Shirtless, it was easy to see he was pretty toned and fit, and in good condition. It was also easy to see that he was cold, as he shivered a moment later as the cold air hit him.

He quickly undid the top button of his jeans and headed towards the water.
"I hope it's as warm as you said it is. Freezing up here." He grinned.

Arion turned around quickly when she saw him start to take off his clothes. What she really didn't want him to see was that her turning a little shade of pink. When she thought he was done, she turned to look over her shoulder, but found he wasn't. However, she couldn't help but stare at him...he was beautiful. Beautiful like she thought she never could be... Sighing softly at him, she met his eyes and then blinked in a bit of shyness. She turned back around, her heart racing in a way she couldn't explin.

"I hope it's as warm as you said it is. Freezing up here."

Arion smiled and, in an instant, she turned around and looked at him, her eyes widening at how beautiful he really as.
"Well..." she said smiling, "what are you waiting for?"
Smirking, she pushed a little bit of water at his feet.

Fawkes smirked back at her, sliding into the water, wincing with a little bit of pain as the water touched the raw flesh surrounding the metal in his wrist, but smiling again once it passed a second or two later.

"You were right. Pretty warm in here after all," He grinned, tilting his head slightly. "Company's pretty good, too."

Arion smirked when she heard what he had to say, tiny little droplets of crystal clear water falling down her nose. Opening her eyes, she began to twitch her nose to try and get it off. All the while she was stepping backwards, finding it terribly embarassing. Suddenly, as she stepped backwards, she stepped off of something.
Ker plop! She was falling in the water, letting out a quick gasp before she sunk. Once, again, highly embarassing! Could she do nothing right around this guy? What was worse was...she couldn't bounce off anything to get back to the surface. Just how deep did this pool go?

Fawkes was over there before she could sink far, putting his arms around her to hold her up, before quickly lifting her up and depositing her on the higher ground with a small grin. It was a moment later that he realised how close she was now, pressed up against him, and he went a little bit pink, but didn't pull away, just smiling at her.

"Hey - Are y'alright?"

Re: Something Deeper...(Fawkes)
Arion felt someone or something yank her up and she knew immeditatly it was Fawkes. Gasping in the water, she blinked and was pulled upward. Coughing, she felt something hard against her back and knew he had set her up on a rock.
"Aye, I'm fine...although I thought I saw something...you want to go check it out?" she asked with a glimmer in her eye.
