Somewhere in the Gulf of Gunthak...
Ouze gathered his weapons and formed up with his friends. A grim war party set out to halt the Froglok advance. Cibulan had the point, blades at the ready, while Ouze & Ouzer walked behind him, alert for danger. Ezmrella was in the middle, the dwarven cleric's hands crackling with healing magics. The party was completed by the bard Lithian, notes of solid music emanating from him and surrounding the party in a shield of song.

The strike force penetrated into grobb, as troll and frog fell alike around them. The frogs were lower in strength but had many more numbers, and they seethed with their newfound power and long simmering hatred of the trolls. With every frog they slew, 3 more rose to take it's place. Cibulan's blades flew, green blood spattering everywhere. A froglok shaman began casting a spell of healing on his warrior brethren, only to have it cut short by a vicious slash of Lithian's blades. The crunch of bone and steel rang in the air as Ouze & Ouzer smashed their way into Grobb to defeat the invaders...

That was a week ago.

Despite the best efforts of the strike force, and all the brave trolls that perished repelling the invasion, the frogs were fighting with the unbearable lightness of valor burning in their souls. The stike force was forced to pull back, swords still swinging, as the druid Uyene swept in and evacuated them to safety, lighting striking down around them. The trolls were forced to flee in the night, through the burning desert, into the dark caves of NeriakThe Tier'Dal took them in, but never accepted them. Things had not been so dire for the Grobb clan in a very, very long time.

Ouze sat in his cabin in the swamp, realizing the Frogloks would soon arrive even in his secluded area of the swamp. He had stayed and fought the Frogloks to his death, but the cleric Surus has ressurected him. "This is not yet yer time, fatty" the bald dwarf snickered.

Ouze Stinkeefeets was no more. Ouze looked deep into himself, and his black heart boiled over with rage and fury. If it took a thousand years, he would reclaim Grobb if he had to crush every frog skull under his boot to do so. Ouze Frogstomper rose from his cabin, and gathered up his things. He took one look at the things he would be leaving behind, and lit a torch, tossing it onto the floor and striding off into the swamp.

Dockmaster Bick had never heard such a request, but the diminutive halfling and his hooded companion would not back down. "That's right, swabby - I want the stone moved from the quarry in lavastorm through the Freeport docks without the Militia being alerted. Hiemer pointed and demanded, dropping ashes from his corncob pipe onto the boots of the baffled Dockmaster.

"That's impossible! No one can move so much through this dock without notice! Impossible, i tell ya! What do ya need 10 boatloads of stone for, anyhoo?" he asked.

The hooded one stepped forward, revealing the blue-black skin of a dark elf. His robes fluttered about his form, but the dockmaster could see tendrils of blackness forming about his hand as the necromancer's lips moved.

"Well, nothing's impossible, I suppose. And I guess it's your business" he quickly agreed.

Monfeld sneered, and the blackness left his hand. "I am glad to see you agree, Human. Glad... and a little disappointed." He cackled evilly, and nodded to Hiemer. He began casting a spell, and lightning enveloped them, and in a thunderclap, the two were gone, leaving only the stunned and befuddled Dockmaster behind.

"10 boatloads of stone, indeed!" He muttered to himself. As he thumbed through the large pouch of platinum pieces they had given him to keep it quiet, he supposed he could curb his curiosity... and that of the Freeport Militia.

Sweet new castle Ouze! I was wondering, is that skull supposed to look like he's happy? cause he looks like he's smiling.

When's the housewarming party?

Re: Somewhere in the Gulf of Gunthak...
I don't think I intended it to be a happy skull. But, so you have it.

I had ment to put some froglok heads on pikes ( as well as add in a pirate ship with a troll face on it, a path from the docks to the docks to the castle, a giant dragon skull for the main entrance, and some other things) but the finished model is around 249mb large, - with 512mb of ram, loading the model + undos + drivers + windows uses virtually every little bit of ram I have and puts me at the crash limit so I had to call it finished. :(
