Kane walked along by himself, deep in thought it seemed. There was so much on his mind, and the best way to try and solve the problems he had were to go somewhere alone and try to figure it all out. Originally the most logical thing to do would be stay in his room. After all, Kane had no roommate, and he wouldn't be bothered by anyone there. But his room was right next to Hawthorne's.

Dressed in his usual attire of dirty loose jeans and a black singlet, Kane made his way down to the waterfall. His hands were in his pockets as he walked. Kane stopped walking and scanned the area lightly. He spotted some kid sitting on a rock. Kane didn't take much notice of them. He walked to the water's edge and looked down at his own reflection. Just staring at himself made him think about his family. His blonde hair was the same colour as his mothers. But as Kane looked to the eyes of his reflection, the image of his father suddenly appeared before him.

With a quick blink the image was gone. Kane sighed, it was just his mind playing tricks on him. Lately that had been happening a lot. Thanks to that crazy fortune teller, Kane had been seeing his father everywhere.

Kane listened to all the things he would do. Though after seeing Hawthorne's past, he knew that there would have been a few things better to do than fighting, but she was experienced at the kind of thing. He'd seen it. When he mentioned the one senerio of claiming her to be his own, he was extremely happy that he didn't go in that direction. Hawthorne had been abused in her past, and that would have scared her more than anything else he could have done.

" I could never do any of those other things. It might be my pride, but I did what I thought was right. If you're not fine with that, I don't really care. You don't have to be. But the only person that mattered to me at all that day was Hawthorne. I wanted to protect her and I didn't want to screw around while doing it. She's safe now. She wasn't hurt. That'll all that matters." He explained.
