Spoilers for 9/29/-10/3
Jax goes to his ailing dad’s bedside.
John says their prized possession as been stolen, an infamous deck of cards.
John believes the family has been in good fortune cause those cares were lucky to them, and now worries with them stolen the family will lose everything.
Jax promises his dad he will do what it takes to reclaim the cards again. (Not that he believes his dad, just he is so sick; he wants to make him feel a little better)
Sam schemes her way to break out of jail and pulls a fast one on the sheriff.
Sam and her family have a past of bad luck, she hopes to change it.
Jax encounters Sam at a bar, and she rebuffs him.
Sam rebuffs Jax, till she overhears him telling the bartender he knows something about this infamous deck of cards and winning a poker hand.
Turns out these cards is also important part of Sam’s past, her great, great, great grandfather shot Wild Bill to get those cards himself.
Sam attempts to hustle Jax and challenges him to a poker game.
They are both out for same thing, looking after their families assets.
Sam lifts one of Jax cards, he goes to her boat to take it back and they get shipwrecked.

Luke has returned home to end the war with Cassadines and there will be a climatic confrontation.
Luke sees a pic of Lucky graduating from the police academy. Luke doesn’t believe it when Lucky said one reason why he joined was to haul Stefan to jail for good.
A murder charge against Stefan is dropped.
Ric gets Stefan out of a jail on a technicality, giving Luke another reason why Lucky shouldn’t of joined it, because to him it doesn’t work.
Luke kidnaps Stefan and takes him to a warehouse,
Luke plays the judge and prosecutor, invites witnesses who Stefan has done wrong and puts him on trial on live television.
Nik testifies that his uncle did kill Summer and it was meant for Emily. (She testifies too)
Stefan continues to be in denial, and he confesses he has done all this for his nephew.
Nik doesn’t want to have anything to do with Stefan again, and tells him he is dead to him.
Sonny receives a dire warning.
Luke wants Stefan to pay.
Sam leaves Jax high and dry.
Jason and Courtney share the most romantic evening.
Luke wants to punish Stefan.
There is a tragic fire.
