Stargate Props!
Well, I thought I'd get the ball rolling on this one.........
My favourite prop at the moment is my Zat gun!!! TK Lee can vouch for it, it's as sweet as a nut! I'm in the process of making a holster for it. This will look great with the rest of my SG gear. At the moment I don't have any decent photos of my Zat, but I'll take some asap and post them here.
Come on guys, what else is out there?
p.s. - my second fav item is my Suunto Advizor watch that most of the team wear!
I don't know if any of you have visited this site yet it surfaced in November 2003 and is to die for. They have gear from stargate studio to buy and they hold auctions via e-bay still in the early stages of growth.
I find myself going to the site and saying I WISH, I WISH some very nice stuff licenced by MGM Studios.
www.stargateprops.com
check it and you will find yourself saying I WISH.....
Re: Props
Ahhhh yes, I have found him actioning off the Stargate Props, And I sooooooooo wish I had more money to get me a bonafide screenused prop, but alas there are other fans out there who have larger pocket books than me thus I loose out The really annoying thing is when I first found him doing this there was some Jaffa armor going and even though it would have been out of my range as such, i'd have found the money to have real screen used jaffa armor if I'd only had a few more days to see what was sellable .
Oh well, back to licenced and other sources (For the ones that not availaable by licence of course ) for our prop jollyies.
...
yes, those zat guns really are beasts, and if i wasnt earning less than an unemployed peasant from mombassa, i might just make an investment there. Its alot of cash tho, but it would attract gazes of god like admiration from my brother, oh well, have fun with them chaps. #Edit By TK Lee# Err that info is off board info dude #End Edit# Edited by: TK Lee at: 15/2/04 23:53
Re: ...
Lee if you ever come across a hollow cast Zat let me know as Ive had a sound board ready for one for ages. At the moment I have one of my scifi sidearms programmed up with the zat opening and firing noises but Id love to get a proper zat shell to house the electronics in.

Re: ...
My boards are microprocessor driven so its not quite as easy as just a schematic, you need software and a programmer etc too to make them work. The plus side to that is that I can get some quite complicated logic routines going as well as led control at the appropriate points (like a blue led flashing when the zat fires etc).
CUstomising them for different projects is also fairly easy for me as the same core board is used in my Pulse Rifle where it does ALL the noises (grenade fire/load, empty firing etc etc) and drives the display and counts down, all the things you would expect. The same board just programmed differently is installed in our Proton Packs too.
Just let me know what you need

Re: ...
Plenty of them boards and all the software/harware to go with them but seriously if you can let me know what the rough costing is per board rougly and what software and hardware might be required (And a tutorial lol) and there costs so I can start working on them, also micro processor control could also operate the up/down aswell I take it. But I'm happy to leave it all in your hands and just buy pre programmed boards ready to fit in my projects, the up side to me having prom reader/writer would be if items required tweeking in inital design phase.
Anyway any Info atall you can share will be greatfully recived, PM me ( tk.lee(at)virgin(dot)net )if anything requires that.
The T.E.R is my next purchase although in our money, its about £285:00. Expensive? yes but worth it As long as I save, one will adorning my BDU well before SG-8 this September Then, the Zat in October
zat holster
I plan to make my own zat holster too (after I get a zat), those who have already made them, you should make a tutorial on how to make them
"now Children, all we need is some sticky tape, some sticky back plastic and a washing up liquid bottle" ( )
I have no ide where to start, so a tutorial would be a great help to me (and alot of people probably) who have no idea where to start!!!
I too plan to buy either a TER or a Staff (or both.....probably both)
Re: hum
I wouldn't bother (and I havn't), as they seem waaaayyy to large and quite heavy, yep nice price but to get one thats NICE you gona look at £100+ easy but if I find any good ones at a cheaper price I'll let you know Sniper, heck I'll be getting one aswell
