Hi Just hoping someone can throw some light on a problem I am having with my 96 model 3ltr Surf. I put some Bilstein adjustable shocks on using the original coil springs all was well. 1 year later I decided to beef up the springs so I purchased some TJM series 2000 Prado heavy duty ones. I noticed that the car had a pull to the left that was not there before it was also noted by the wheel alignment guy. I was told it was most likely the tyres so I bought new ones Bridgestone Dueler A/Ts. Now the car doesn't pull, however sometimes when going around a left hand corner or sweep the car seems to lock and you have to pull it back, you can actually feel the resistance sort of like a little tight spot and once past it its OK and of course it doesn't happen all the time which has made it difficult to diagnose, its but a bit scary when you don't expect it. The springs also rattle on bumps which never happened before. I noticed on the original springs that there is a bit of plastic 1 mm thick on the bottom but its hard to see that this would stop the rattle, but then again. Sorry its a bit long but just trying to give all the facts Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Regards Tod
