Well, its the weekend here at MHS. Wouldn't it be great if all schools started on a Friday for the first day of school. What a way to start off. You get a weekend right after your first day. Well, this is because we are done with the first day of class. How so you ask. As you only went to one class. yes, but I am sure that doing the same thing for each class would get boring. So the one class you experienced is basically how all the classes are going to be.
Teacher posts role. Day gets started, end of class happens, everyone goes to their next class, or home..
Well, ezboard still hasn't confirmed anything on a final date when everything is changed over to Yuku. And we are working on what to do next. We all want user friendliness after everything is changed away from Ezbaord, and we are trying everything we can to ensure that we have just that when we are at a new board hosting site.

Description: an oval face, with symmetric fine boned features, a thin nose, and large cornflower blue eyes, though her eyes change when powers are used, and also reflect her moods, for example when angry, her eyes pale to a shade of ice, when sad they turn a somber grey etc. Her facial bone stucture cause her appearance to be rather delicate, there a sense of fragility about her. Her thick hair hangs down to her waist, a shinning pure white with a hint of silver, straight and usually tied back with a wide black ribbon, her fringe is left free though she often pushes to the side.
She stands at 155 cm, and has a rather slight build, with thin hips and a tiny waist, as she has a very small appetite. She is quite fit, and her limbs are toned, as is her stomach. Stella’s skin is rather pale as she is usually only active at night, though her complexion is healthy.
She wears dark blue and silver; usually very fine fabrics, such as silk for skirts and velvet for her tops. She is aware her style of dress is old-fashioned, but feels more at ease in her chosen attire. Her tops are usually in a corset-like style, lacing up at the back and sleeveless, leaving her shoulders bare. Stella never wears trousers, preferring skirts that usually hang to just above her knees in material that cling to her slender legs. She leaves enough skin bare to feel feminine, but still chaste. She is aware her style of dress is oldfasioned, but feels more at ease in her chosen attire.
She wears black ankle boots with a moderate stiletto heel if going out but flat for practical wear, and around her neck a small sliver star-pendant. Her arms are ringed with silver, some of the bracelets set with jet and crystal.
At night, especially when the stars are out, Stella glows softly with starlight.
Personality: Stella is a recluse. She is uncomfortable in crowds, as she feels threatened and unsure how to react, so she usually goes off into a corner, to avoid attracting attention. She trys to put herself out in order to meet new people, and not many realise how uneasy this can make her feel.
She is very empathetic, able to relate to people’s problems when one on one. She hates to see people sad or unhappy. She has the ability to be able just to sit and listen, and to know when not to offer her opinion.
Stella has had little company for her childhood, so is unsure how to act around other people. Stella is most comfortable at night, and loves looking at the stars, as they remind her of her parents (see history). She dresses in dark blue and silver to mimic the night, to remind her of the time when she is most comfortable.
Special Power: both of Stella’s powers are tied up in her pendant
One: Night Sky. when used, the sky over the surrounding area becomes like night, a black sky studded with stars. tiny falling stars (the amount depends on the number of stars in the sky at the time, at the very most 10 when very angry/upset/panicked, the average is 5, increasing as her power grows) are fired from Stella's finger tips to strike her opponent, each one doing the damage of a white hot (or red hot if too powerful) ember. As the area is dark, it can also be used as a smokescreen. This can only be used once during the day, but multiple times at night (5 to 10).
Night Sky level 2 at the very most she can produce 20 when very angry/upset/panicked, the average is 15, increasing as her power grows
Night Sky level 3 Can cast Night Sky during the day 3 times rather then once. Each new casting renews the number of stars she can shoot
Two: wish upon a star. It can heal small hurts (for example, cuts, grazes, etc) to Stella or a friend, and relieve pain. If the wound is too large or complex for Stella to heal, she simply takes the pain away, leaving it to heal naturally. It can only be used at night, or when Night Sky is cast.
Stella discovered these powers when she was 14. Her father had left her the pendant, and when in use, it glows white. Stella’s eyes go dark blue when using Night Sky, and shine silver when using Wish Upon a Star.
History: Stella knows little about her history. She was found at the age of two on the doorstep of a distant cousin of her fathers, a wealthy Australian psycologist who raised her by himself. She could remember very little about her parents, for no photos can be unearthed.
In truth, her father and mother left her there to investigate the landing site of a recently fallen star. At the sight, they both disappeared.
When she was found, she had the silver pendant around her neck (found by her father in the heart of a meteorite), and she never removes it. Stella chose her own last name when 13, with permission from her guardian. It was formally Mark's own, Mitchell, but he took no offence to her change.
Her discovery of her powers happened as follows: Stella was reclining on the house roof, watching the stars. She was lying precariously close to the roof edge, and when a sound bellow (Mark turning on the T.V) startled her, she fell off the roof, a fall of 2.5 meters. Stella stood, her head swam for a few seconds, her pendant glowed, and suddenly the graze on her forehead that had been a result of the fall tingled. When Stella checked herself in the mirror, it had disappeared. This led to her experimenting, and to her discovery she could only heal at night. Upon this breakthrough, (when she had stretched her hand deliberately at 12:00 noon,) she wished it where night, so she could stop her hand hurting. Her pendant glowed again, and above her head the sky darkened to indigo. She found this counterfeit night as effective as the true one in terms of activating her healing abilities, and discovered it also allowed her to project several small star-bright objects from her fingertips.
Once, while watching the stars they seemed to come closer and closer, and Stella began to hear voices, coming aparently from the sky. The voices were kind, and asked her about how her life had been. Stella secretly thought of the voices as her parent's spirits, but when she mentioned them to Mark, he told ehr never to speak of them to anyone.
She had a 4 year old white cat, Celeste (short for celestial), who’s eyes match her own in colour. She was a gift for her 12th birthday, and Stella’s closest friend. Mark kept her at home, partly to keep her beauty hidden for fear she would be abused, but also to teach her astrology, as well as other more mundane subjects, and is finally sending her to school.

A shaft of sunlight had crept though the crack in the blue curtains to strike Stella’s closed eyes. She sighed as the sun’s glare pierced though the soft mist of slumber. Her cornflower eyes opened slowly, as the last dregs of sleep slid off. Slowly, so as not to disturb her sleeping cat, Stella slid out of her bed. Celeste made a small mew of protest as her bedding slid under her (the black cover having been disturbed slightly by Stella’s departure), but soon settled down again, occasionally twitching in some dream of hers.
Stella stood before her mirror, and stared. A thin figure in a white nightgown stared back. Stella pulled a face, and, ignoring the one her reflection pulled back, turned to her cupboard. The butterflies in her stomach had surfaced again, fluttering madly as if perused by some small child with a net, the feeling dulling her blue eyes to a greyer shade. She bit her lip gently in an attempt to still them, and got dressed slowly and deliberately.
Mark had breakfast ready for her when she emerged. Porridge steamed in twin bowls as she took her seat opposite him and ate.
“Nervous?” he asked sympathetically, having learnt the significance of the present hue of her eyes. Stella smiled ruefully and nodded, before putting her bowl of practically untouched porridge on the kitchen table.
“It’ll be ok.” He assured her, after casting a worried look at her still full bowl. But he knew better then to tell her to eat more. Stella never ate much.
“I’ll miss Celeste.” Stella sighed. “And you, of course.”
“Of course.” Mark replied, smiling at his ward. She smiled back.
Stella rinsed her bowl and dried it, all the while thinking about eh school she was soon to join. She had never really interacted with more then one person at a time, and now she was going to a vastly populated school. Okay, for the most part it is very good. I have a few things though. Please bold your titles.
Your first power though I am going to need more detail on. Mostly on the effect of what happens. Perhaps an example might explain better what happens when the ability is used.

Ahh, oops, I had posted something that I didn't even mean to. I needed one more thing. It's my fault for not asking it before. How often can she use her abilities. And for the first one, what would be the affects of being hit by it.

Nice character form, when you get acccepted perhpas mine will too, wanna be roomates if we get in? our characters are quite alike. In the way that they like alone time.(not saying that in wrong way.) Granom...I'm not sure what part of the rules you do not understand, but you are not allowed to post in other people's characters. If you want me to sound out every syllable so it's drilled into your head I will.

Okay, much better. One more thing I am going to ask. You say multiple times at night. Can I have a number of times, rather then an open ended amount. For example, some people can say five hundred is a multiple number of times. We are trying to prevent the possibility of people taking things out of perspective and going over board.
Also, The dorms themselves are co-ed, but the rooms aren't. True, there are a few instances of co-ed rooms, and one that is even pretty recent. But the recent one was a mistake on my part, and the ones from before that were before we made the decision that they weren't co-ed.
Sorry Kobita. That should have been posted up in the TL. Not your fault if you didn't know that. Yell at us admins. *gomen*

I can see the dilemma and have adjusted accordingly. If I decide to make another character at a future date, I’ll know not to let anything open ended!
On a different note, is my character ok? For example on a scale of 1 to 10... (That bit’s a joke). But is she developed well enough, or are there some areas that need more detail? You must have so many profiles to read through, and I wanted mine to be sort of original. Sorry to bother you, just wanted a bit of feedback.
oh, and if i can't be Granom's room mate, i could be the room mate for the girl in the co-ed room (its Hawthorne Johnstone, isnt it?), if she still needs one.

I would say your profile is good. Better then some but there are a few that top it. I won't say exactly, as it might get people mad. hehe, and I always try to nstay nuetral. But I can easily tell you, it is nowhere near the worst.
If she is already someones roommate, we aren't going to remove her, or the male, we'll keep it untill they decide that they would prefere to not have a roommate of the opposite sex.
