Story of Rasciel
Okay, this is too big to put in a post so I'll put it here. It's based losely off of Catholic Dogma and Jim Buthcher's Death Masks. enjoy.
In the begining....oh we all know that story but what about before the begining? We know that Satan exsited as himself when the world was created, but how did he and his folowers get there? And what about the storys of Demons through the ages? How did they come to be outside of hell. Well, here is our story.
Before God created the world, he lived in harmony with his loyal deciples, the choirs of angels. We lived in peace and harmony for eons. When god told us his plan to create a world, we stood by him. When God told us he wanted it to have living creatures on it, we gave him ideas on those creatures. When God said he wanted something to resemble us, we gave his clay to help.
But when God said that we would have to bow to those that were less superior then us, we drew the line. There were thirty-one of us, mostly centered around four beings. Three seriphims, Lucifer, Azarel, and Lusciel, and one Archangel, Me, Rasciel. We formed the rest of those that were soon to be called renegades into a fersome army.
The war lasted for an eon. Attacks, counters, feints, traps, and withdraws, we designed them all. The last battle saw all thirty-one of us fighting for exsitance in a place that didn't want us to. God finnaly stepped in and gave us a place to rule over those we refused to bow to. He gave us Perdition, Hell.
At first, it was just a dark hole in the middle of nowhere. When we started to gain humans, they thought that they were damned to endless torture, and their thoughts caused the place to give them what they wanted. Fire and lava spat out of the darkness. Cracked rock and runis gave a formation. Skeletons and creatures of the darkness tortured and laughed, and we were the rulers.
After thousands of years, we grew tired of the place. We searched for a way out, but it wasn't until a certain individual walked the earth did we find a way. Satan, as Lucifer was now known as, wispered things into a member of his regiem and tainted his thoughts. The betrayer was our puppet, and he danced to our tune. It wasn't until it was too late did he realize his mistake. He hung himself, after reciving a payment for his services. His payment was our way out.
Thirty pices of silver fell from his grasp and were scatered on the ground. We took posesion of smaller beasts and vermin and made our way to these coins. Inside of these coins, we would put our essence, our power, and our knowledge. We scatered the coins to the far reaches of the planet you call earth. For two thousand years we have inahbited these coins. Seven have been found, two have been given. Azarel was the first to give his in a agreement. He gave his to a prophet name Nicodemus. Lasciel waited almost as long as I have till she found a suitible host, a wizard named Harry Blackstone Coperfield Dresden. I have been folowing my chosen for a long time, and only recently have we entered our agreement. He is a ninja, the last of his clan, and he is my host. He is Maevis Pas.
