Studying
Carrie Ashmore sat at a table in a almost empty library with a pile of books on the table. In two weeks Carrie had her first test of the year and like usual Carrie was preparing for the test way earlier then she had to. No wonder the red haired girl didn't have much of a life.
Alice was walking through the Library looking for a book for background reading when she saw Carrie. She knew Carrie because she was in her House and because Alice spent a lot of time with Lexy.
Deciding to strike up a conversation, she said, "Hey Carrie. What're you reading?"
Re: Studying
"Yeah my aunt teaches Herbology bur I'm still not naturally good at the subject," Carrie told Alice. "I still get pretty good grades in the class though,"
Re: Studying
"I like Potions, Alice admitted. "I dunno, everyone else I know seems to hate it. I do real good in it, though. To me it seems like cooking."
Re: Studying
"That's awesome," said Alice, smiling. "All of my friends think I'm weird for liking Potions. What I have trouble in is Defense Against the Dark Arts."
Re: Studying
"I'm not really a hundred percent sure what I want to be also. I kind of want to be an author and I kind of want to work for the ministry. I mostly want to be a Professor at Hogwarts though," Carrie told Alice.
Re: Studying
"Potions would be a fun class to teach but there are a lot of other classes I also wouldn't mind teaching," Carrie told Alice. "The one class I would never be able to teach is flying. I'm horrible at flying,"
Re: Studying
"You're joking?" said Alice. Alice had never spent much time on broom, but she just didn't like flying very much. "I thought flying came natural to Wizards."
Re: Studying
"It comes natural to some witches and wizards but I'm not one of them," Carrie told Alice. "I hate flying anyways so it doesn't matter to me,"
Re: Studying
"No I don't like to watch quidditch to me it's boring," Carrie said to Alice. "I go to my cousin Linda's games though even though there boring,"
