Superstition
In Moagara the Gods do not directly communicate with their worshipers. Priests and common folk alike look to omens and portents to guide them through the savage and dangerous world in which they live. The power of true belief is an acknowledged fact in Moagara and plays a vital role in their mythology. The Gods themselves were born when all living things united in their shared need for succor (see the Chaos and the Lightbringers thread).
Thus, there is not a clear line between the "magic" (things that might be perceived with a Detect Magic spell, for instance) and the supernatural. A mundane token soaked in the sacred rains of the Watermel festival might not glow with magical energy, but could very well aid in natural healing, or prevent disease. There is no good way to quantify these things in a purely game rule sense, but their potency is truly believed by the vast majority of the Moagari, and this belief gives them power.
