TALAQ/DIVORCE
I AM RECENTLY DIVORCED. MY HUSBAND JUST UP AND DECIDED AFTER A YEAR OF NIKAH THAT HE SHOULD NOT BE MARRIED. I DO NOT AGREE WITH THE DIVORCE AND WISH WE COULD RECONCILE. I WAS WONDERING SINCE MY HUSBAND DOES NOT HAVE ANY REAL GROUNDS FOR DIVORCE, IF IT IS FAIR AT ALL TO SAY THAT HE CAN NOT DIVORCE ME.

I can understand how you must be feeling. My advice would be to seek the advice of an imam as he/she will no doubt be able to put things into persepective for you.
