Well, its the weekend here at MHS. Wouldn't it be great if all schools started on a Friday for the first day of school. What a way to start off. You get a weekend right after your first day. Well, this is because we are done with the first day of class. How so you ask. As you only went to one class. yes, but I am sure that doing the same thing for each class would get boring. So the one class you experienced is basically how all the classes are going to be.
Teacher posts role. Day gets started, end of class happens, everyone goes to their next class, or home..
Well, ezboard still hasn't confirmed anything on a final date when everything is changed over to Yuku. And we are working on what to do next. We all want user friendliness after everything is changed away from Ezbaord, and we are trying everything we can to ensure that we have just that when we are at a new board hosting site.

Appearance: Tarik is very tan (he is Egyptian of course) and has dark brown hair. His hair is fairly long, going down a little bit past his jaw. He stands at about 5"11 and weighs about 128 pounds (skinny boy, he used to walk a lot and didnt eat very much) His eyes are a light, yellowy brown, some people consider them gold. He wears his family name (amon) in hieroglyphics (the sort that pairs a symbol with a sound) on a silver small plate around his neck on a simple black strip. He wears a headband(he has a collection kind of, a different one everyday or so) that used to guard his eyes from the sand when he lived in egypt.They have tribal designs or are just plain colors (mostly black and other dark earth tones). He mostly wears simple cargo shorts and is in denial of the fact that other places in the world do not have the same climate as Egypt. He wears simple t-shirts usually black or earth tones like his headbands. Tarik occasionally wears a sweatshirt at night, if it's windy, but otherwise no cold protection. He's not used to cold weather, so usually he's caught freezing cold by the weather. he wears two simple black bands on his right wrist, and a silver snake bracelet on his left (it's the kind that it's a snake wrapped around your wrist, at the top the head meets the tail). He has a small tatoo of the egyptian symbol for health or heal right under his right collar bone from an unsuccessful attempt to heal himself. I hope that was descriptive enough, if you need any more just ask
Personality: Tarik is very loner-ish and doesn't have many friends. But for the few friends he does have, he is very loyal and would fight for anything to save or help his friends. He's pretty mean and sour, and thinks of himself as the best. He doesn't brag, but if confronted by an older, tougher also nasty person he'll think he can take them in a fight. Frankly he can't (he's an okay figher, but he's way too cocky). He's not talkative at all, as he lived in Egypt until he was 13. His English is not good, and his native tongue is Arabic (i dont know any...) Tarik normally keeps to himself, and would rather sit alone then with other people. He's a man of few words, mainly because he doesn't know English extremely well. He opens up occasionally, but only to people he really trusts.
Special Power: I think time was locked, but you said if it was creative it was fine. I think this might be OK
1. Time Turning Healing Tarik has the power to turn back time only a little, on a certain concentrated area. This power is mainly for injuries. For instance, if someone breaks a leg, if he gets there in time, Tarik can turn back time on the specific spot where it was broken to the time when it wasn't broken. He can't do this on himself, however. He doesn't know why and has many scrapes and scratches because of it. He attempted it once, but all it resulted in was a permanent image of the health symbol under his right collarbone (he broke his collarbone) In order to perform his power, he has to draw the hyroglyph for health on the spot (kind of like the way things work in alchemy, but Egyptian: I'm also not sure of the egyptian symbol of health, when i find it i will post) of injury. He always carries around a sharpie permanent marker, or a pen for that reason.The only down point is, after healed the symbol becomes sort of a tatoo scar, permanent on the point of injury. Tarik is also pretty tired after healing only one injury. Eventually, Tarik might be able to use his power for more of an offensive reason.
2.Memorization. This is more of a talent then a power per-se. Tarik can hear something once and memorize it. He read books about heiroglyphs and therefore knows how to decifer his ancestors writings. In no way is he super smart. Some things he just memorizes and has no idea what they are saying, but if he gets it beforehand, he'll remember it. It also helps with his first power, the fact that he has to draw a symbol to use it. He memorized the lines and shapes the first time he had to use it, on his father.
History: Tarik grew up in Cairo, Egypt on the outskirts of the city. His family rarely spoke, and usually sat quitely, either reading or something else. They had an extremely small television in their small house and few electronic devices besides the TV and the telephone. Tarik has one brother, who is 6, named Arhin. His parents rarely spoke to their children and usually expressed what they were thinking and feeling through their actions. Tariks father, Jabari (means brave) gave him his first headband as a symbol of trust. After that day, he let Tarik go trekking around the city alone. One day, tarik was studying silently iin the main room of the family's home. Jabari entered, staggering. A riot had erupted at the marketplace, Tariks father was caught in the middle of it. He had several cuts, and told his family he thought he had broken several ribs. Tariks mother, Ain, beleived very much in the old egyptian customs and told Tarik to draw the symbol of health on his father's side. With much pain to his father, Tarik drew the symbol, and continued to examine the damage. Suddenly, a small light gathered near the injury and the red pen used to draw the symbol turned to thick black lines. A crack was heard, Tarik's father screamed, and the ribs were healed. Afterwards, Tarik feinted out of exhaustion. That was the longest Tarik ever turned an area back, the injury had happend an hour prior. That's how he realized he could turn back time on very small areas.
EXAMPLE ROLE-PLAYING POST: Tarik walked down the hall of the airport. He lugged his black duffle bag and silently wished he could afford one with wheels. His family had saved all the money they could to just get him tickets for the one way flight. He hoped he wouldn't be coming back, for their sakes. He loved Egypt, and didn't want to leave his homeland. But his parents insisted on sending him to this special school. The knew that he needed to find out what his talent was about. They wanted him to be able to master it. Despite his objection, they purchased the plane ticket and sent him to go. Rubbing his snake bracelet, Tarik prayed that he wouldn't regret his family's descision. He knew he wouldn't make friends, but he hoped he might somewhat enjoy this experience. It was something unknown, but he was ready. Getting to the gate, he showed the clerk his ticket and continued walking through the tunnel leading to the plane. Having a bit of trouble finding his seat, (the ticket is written in English) Tarik asked the flight attendant in Arabic and she showed him where to go. he saw that he was sitting next to two American men, who knew each other.
"Excuse me please." he said, trying to be polite. The two men look at Tarik and smiled at each other.
"You from Egypt kiddo?" one asked. Tarik nodded, not wanting to talk with these people any more.
"We're archeologists. You're ancestors tombs are pretty interesting you know." Tarik sat down, and ignored the man.
"Don't understand eh?" he turned to his companion, "I bet he knows three words, me, please, and bathroom. Fricking iidiot, getting on a plane to a place he won't be able to talk with anyone. I doubt he even has a passport." The friends had themselves a good laugh, but Tarik was boiling up inside. He had understood everything they said, save the word archeologist. Turning to the men, he said,
"If I were you two, I would think about what you were going to be saying before you say it. I took English class, and I am trying to learn. Shut up."

I dunno if you mentioned pants in your description, and I'm too lazy to go back and look. If not, I don't see any problems aside from length. You might wanna look back and flesh out things like personality and history.

Alrighty, the only thing I'm weary about it the first power. Now, when you are healing a person does time go backwards, or the fact that the leg was broken? The leg will go back to the moment before it got broken, the bones and such? Just need to explain that one to me a bit more. As soon as you do that, you shalt be accepted. ^_^

Sorry it wasn't clear. I'll try and make it easier to understand.
Well, Tarik draws the symbol at the root of the problem. For instance, when Tarik's father broke two ribs, Tarik drew the symbol across, the place where they were both broken. Now, the symbol acts as a marker for what place with be turned back in time. Basically, it's only that spot that gets turned back. So, even though this is like impossible, if you got tan between when you were hurt and when tarik healed you, then only that spot wouldn't be tan. I hope i cleared it up, if you need any more of an explanation just ask.
