Terror upon Mobius Terror from above Prologue
Our tale descends onto another world where humans do not rule. Neither are we slaves or extinct, we were never there. A mysterious planet some may know as Mobius. Here what seem the under dogs of our own lives roam strong yet they have gained human character. They have the power to think, to feel, to love, to hate. Creatures from hedgehogs to alligators, armadillo and chameleon, they are all here living in quiet peace. But even above them they are others, other worlds amongst their own. First there is the guardian of 7 Chaos Emeralds and one ‘Master emerald’. Upon his floating home, high above all others, he stands alone, fulfilling his mission of protection. Even in these early hours of the morn the guardian watches. His duty to protect out weighs virtually all his own needs.
This guardian is the rumored last of his kind. The ancient race of echidnas that mysteriously vanished from the island and never returned. He broods over the emeralds, always watching for even the slightest change. Should the emeralds be taken, the island would crash down into Mobius causing massive devastation but as long as he lives, nothing will come in between what he must do. This creature is called Knuckles, a crimson echidna with a mighty strength hidden in his muscles. His hair hangs in almost dread locks, swinging like our own hair when he moves his head. He has fierce and gentle purple eyes, which are surrounded by a white void of his eyes. What could be considered his muzzle is a pale brown; almost tan like color covering the bottom of his face. A short black nose shows its end. His hands are covered in white gloves but don’t cut down the fierce claws coming from the Knuckles where his name comes from. A white crescent moon faces upwards towards his face from where it lays on the highest point of his chest. His tail sticks out hard almost like a lighting bolt from his body. Even though both his legs and arms are slender they pack more than can be seen. His legs dip into a green cylinder, which rests above shoes. The shoes have a crimson front and back half while the middle part is a deep yellow. Over the top of the shoe is a metal piece which looks almost like a piece of flat silver Lego.
The room of which he sits now shows clearly how old it is. Sand colored stone forms a shrine and protection for the Emeralds. Some stones are lightly covered with soiled moss while others are littered with cobwebs. Although one thing sands out, a giant screen still surrounded with those ancient blocks. Right now a pale fuzzy black has wiped it clear of color but even then you would not expect to see it, just so out of place although it is vital, for it holds screens of everywhere on the island.
Knuckles lies across the console, which holds the Emeralds. They float with a protective green glow and the Master Emerald, biggest of all, hovering in the center of them all. Knuckles stares up at them, a hint of loneness hanging around his sullen face, resting his head on his arm. Wondering so much about his past, the past where his kind lived here. Would possibly made them flee? What made him to be the only one to stay? His expression looks up blankly, with nothing to break the binding silence all he can do is wait. No other resides on the island or he would know about them. He is all alone; high above Mobius, high above the terror as something is beginning to stir. But it is not just below concerns rest. Hidden amongst the shadows at present, there is something. A smile glitters within them revealing rose glossed lips. This creature stares at the emeralds delighted at such a find. Knuckles has long fallen asleep, too tired to notice even the image on the screen, a creature heading towards his island not so long ago. It has started and there is nothing the sleeping warrior can do about it.

What world?
What world is this fic in? Is it in a world based on the games, or one of the TV shows? as a fan, I know that it makes a huge difference. Segasonic, SatAM, AoStH, SU, Sonic X, Archie Sonic... Whcih one is this fic based in? If it's based on Segasonic (the most popular one, the one in the video games), you should know that those don't take place on Mobius, they just call the planet "Earth."

For a first attempt at a third person fic, this isnt too bad. Your description has gotten way better since the last time i read something you wrote, but a few grammatical errors such as comma placement still plague the fic. still, good opening chapter, and if i keep coming bakc here i'll look out for the newer chapters.
