That i might not sin against Thee Lord! March 2,2006 Isa 59:11 We all growl like bears; we moan mournfully like doves. We look for justice, but find none; for deliverance, but it is far away. Isa 59:12 For our offenses are many in your sight, and our sins testify against us. Our offenses are ever with us, and we acknowledge our iniquities: Isa 59:13 rebellion and treachery against the LORD, turning our backs on our God, fomenting oppression and revolt, uttering lies our hearts have conceived. Isa 59:14 So justice is driven back, and righteousness stands at a distance; truth has stumbled in the streets, honesty cannot enter. Isa 59:15 Truth is nowhere to be found, and whoever shuns evil becomes a prey. The Lord looked and was displeased that there was no justice. Isaiah 59:11-15 March 2, 2006 That i might not sin against thee Lord! 1.]Am I guilty of hostilities deep within? Grouchy undertones that cannot, or will not love? Do I represent You as You deserve to be represented Lord? 2.]Am I rough and bad mannered to others! Touting my gospel without actually understanding for myself the basic rudiments of faith? 3.]Do I placate others with soothing sounds that would melt butter, but are lacking the power to change hearts and minds, or keep them from destruction? 4.]Deliverance is not a word i associated with subjugation Lord! bringing my own desires under domination, and a conquering of this flesh. Deliverance under these circumstances is Christs pleasure, and was His desire on calvary, The utter application of my humble supplication. 4.]Do I dispense my own brand of justice to every man I meet, judging their action by my own authority, my own understanding of Gods laws? 5.]Have I exalted myself as the deliverer? Have I taken on the task of Moses without having the authority to be a deliverer? 6.]I am an offensive child in many ways! Lord not only do I illegally break your laws, I have the audacity to turn around and become hurt, when I believe someone has overstepped my own unwritten law. 7.]Am I flagrantly and openly disregarding your Divine Authority Lord? Have I determined in my own heart, that you do not mean what You have said? Am I finding ways within my own mind to change the words you use to other less strong words? Yes Lord, I see the error of that thinking, I see the rebellion, that is within! 8.]Everything within is hidden from men’s eyes Oh Lord, but nothing!, is hidden from you. My innards are full of bones and all manner of dead things! You see me when I fix things up in my own mind, to cover over and hide what I know within my heart is wrong. Vanity Lord, all things are vanity and shall puff up, as smoke, when your rain of clarity comes upon the blindness of man. Prayer Lord: I repent of making that same noise that the world makes! Lord you alone are my Justice and deliverance. Forgive me, my many offenses and my many sins Lord. I seem to commit Offenses daily Lord and add continually to my mounting indiscretions, keeping not, Your Holy Things Holy Lord. Of these things Lord I do repent, and ask for cleansing Lord. Lord! Deliver me from this bond of crying, clamoring flesh. I have often been a rebellious child, committed treachery against You Oh God in secrecy and in darkness, thinking that what I have done is right, because I am special. Forgive me and cleanse me Oh Lord! I turn back to you Lord this day and bind by Jesus Name those foul demons of oppression and revolt that have been within me, even as I said to others God knows my heart! My lying tongue I bind, In Jesus Name, and I offer you my heart, filled with the blackness of wickedness and i ask you Lord to break up that hard and unyielding ground. Now and forever more, Let the meditations of my heart and the uttering of my mouth, be acceptable in your sight Oh Lord! Let Justice rain down upon the dry bones, my life has become and bring new life and commitment to me. Lord, bring righteousness into the area right between my eyes Lord as a frontlet Lord! Let your Truth Oh Lord become my food and my only motivation as i walk this road with you Lord! Allow me Oh Lord to be utterly transparent in my dealings with your people, with the world and with myself. Let honesty be the measuring stick by which i apply my entire life. Lord, bring me to be Your Truth Oh Lord, change my character into Your character, that it may be my shield as i walk through this valley of the shadow of death. Let evil flee from Your earthbound representation. I pray this prayer in The Precious Name Of Jesus, and I say Oh Lord! Let your Will be Done On Earth As It Is In Heaven Lord! What is in Heaven has come to Earth. Hallelujah Lord i praise You Growl-a low guttural sound of hostility Bear-often contrasted with a bull, used as a warning, not to sell the skin of the bear until you catch the bear. Also meaning a rough or bad mannered person. Dove-a cooing person who advocates conciliatory policies. Justice-the administration of law according to a behavior or action, by the administrator of that law. Deliverance-to be rescued and set free from. Offense-an illegal action; a breach of law or codicil; to be in resentment or hurt, by someone’s breach of an unspoken or spoken rule/codicil. Iniquities-sin, injustice, and immoral behavior Rebellion-a defiant disregard for an established government or authority Treachery-a hidden and unpredictable betrayal; this is a french word meaning to cheat Fomenting-instigating and stirring up revolution and strife. Oppression-harsh and authoritarian weights upon the mind or spirit Revolt-to defy authority and act out in defiance. Conceived-to become pregnant with or to allow the mind to imagine or devise a thing Righteousness-being morally right or justified. To be in right standing before God! Honesty-is a quality of translucency, a lack of deceit (a plant with purple or white flowers that have translucent seed pods) Truth-a quality, which opposes the false, and is an integrity of uprightness and unification of inner and outer construction, it is being wholly true in a complete intactness Illegally-meaning unlawful and forbidden by laws and codicils, not just unlawful, but punishable by regulatory statutes. (Written laws, passed by a legislative body or government, and devised, to control or maintain, certain behaviors. Evil-an extremely far reaching immoral, wickedness, whose desire it is, to extend this wickedness and depravity to others. It is a very unpleasant supernatural force that is harmful to others and can involve the physical, the spiritual, and it can cause bodily harm of others. The use of the word evil, has often in ancient times and in these times, been the description for the devil Prey-one who is hunted by, exploited by, or harmed. One vulnerable, and easily taken advantage of and is made distressed by. (The Latins refer to Prey as booty, something to be taken as the right of one who is stronger in battle) Displeased-means annoyed, slightly angry or upset. Feelings of harassment, and the feeling of unhappiness at a result or a situation. It is disappointment and makes one worry. Unless The Lord builds it, it will not stand! |
