The Assignment 9-10
Chapter 9
“Only on one case, I get to redo the master bedroom.”
“Do I get to have some say in what goes in there?”
“Only some.” Elizabeth said.

Jason took Elizabeth home after they stopped to pick up Anastasia at Audrey’s. Anastasia fell asleep in the car on the way home. Jason and Elizabeth were talking about nothing in particular, but at least they were talking. Jason carried Anastasia up to her bed, and tucked her in. After kissing the top of her forehead, he turned and walked down the stairs two at a time. Only to be greeted by Elizabeth, and Megan talking.
“Hi, you two. Anastasia is up sleeping in her bed. I’ll just be getting out of your way.” Jason said.
“Thank you Jason. So are you two getting married? When? Where?” Megan said breaking her hug with Elizabeth.
“Where getting married on Monday, in the back yard if that is ok? Are you willing to give me away? And be my maid of honor? Can Anastasia be my flower girl? We thought that Michael would be our ring barrier. Are you ok with that?” Elizabeth asked, knowing that she was rambling.
“I’d be happy to give you away, and be your maid of honor, and yes, Anastasia can be your flower girl.” Megan shouted with joy. “Tomorrow you, and me, and Anastasia, and Emily will go out and get our dresses. Unless Jason you want to take Elizabeth out?” Megan asked.
“No, you four, can go shopping, only one thing, I want you take Johnny with you, just in case. And no Elizabeth don’t even think about arguing.” Jason said.
“Fine, I won’t argue.” Elizabeth said.
Jason left the house, minutes later, planting a small kiss on the top of her forehead.
“Liz, are you still upset with Jason, and the whole Courtney thing?” Megan asked.
“Yes, but I will have to ok, with it, because were going to have to get married.” Liz said.
“Ok, were going to have to start planning this wedding. Like NOW! So what food are we going feed them at the reception? We have to get you a dress. What flowers do you want. I’ll call something first thing tomorrow morning.”
“Calm, down, I don’t ant anything big.” Liz said.
“Elizabeth, you deserve something big, you helped me through my rape, and you rescued Jason when he was injured. You fought for justice when you were raped, you went through a traumatic experience when our parents wouldn’t believe you when you were raped. You deserve the best, and I believe you found it in Jason, even if you are only marring him to stay in college.” Megan said.
“Fine I won’t argue with you, but let’s not worry about this, until tomorrow morning. Ok, I love you, I’m going up to bed. I’ll let you get that.” Elizabeth said, to Megan as the phone interrupted the talk.

The next morning Elizabeth was woken with Anastasia jumping on her bed, and Emily and Megan sitting on chairs planted next to Elizabeth’s bed.
“We’ll its about time you got up sleppy head.” Megan said to her sister.
“We’ll it took me forever to fall asleep last night. What do you expect, me to do?” Elizabeth asked the two girls starring at her.
“We’ll get up we have a lot to do. We have to go and you get you a dress and flowers, our dresses, Anastasia’s dress, and a present for your groom.” Emily said.
“Emily, calm down. Let me get dressed and then we will go. Maybe since its still early, we can escape, and then we won’t have to take Johnny with us.” Elizabeth said.
“No such luck, after you went up for bed, I was still on the phone with Alexis, when Johnny came knocking on the door, telling me not to worry, that he was just going to be outside, and that at midnight that Franis would come on, and that he would be back in the morning.” Megan said.
“Why does Jason worry about protecting me, I’m a big girl. I can take care of my self.” Elizabeth said when Emily left the room with Anastasia in her arms.
“Hun, he really cares about you, if he doesn’t love you. So don’t worry this is his way of keeping you safe.” Megan said.
“You didn’t tell Emily about that were only getting married to keep me in school, and so that I can graduate. Did you? Please tell me you didn’t tell her about the arrangement? All I need her to think that the only reason that I am marring her brother is to pass school.”
“Well Liz, do you think that I would scope that low and tell her that secret.” Megan said.
“No, sis, I guess I’m just losing my mind.” Elizabeth
“Now, get up and get dressed, we got a lot to do today. I see you down stairs in 10 minutes. Hurry up.” Megan said.

Jason walked into the coffee warehouse, only to find Sonny yelling at the floor manager about something. See that Sonny was busy at the moment, so Jason ducked into his office only to find a stack of papers that need to be looked at and signed. Sitting down at his desk, he tried to concentrate on the papers in front of him, when Sonny walked in the room to see how things were coming.
“Hey what’s up?” Jason asked
“Nothing much I’m just trying to catch up on things before Carly and I got away. Are you still going to take care of Michael? I mean Letica will be there during the days, before and after preschool, but she trying to plane her own wedding.”
“Yeah, everything is still on, except Elizabeth is going to be helping if that’s all right. She’ll be living at my penthouse too.” (hopefully forever) Jason added silently.
“Jason, I don’t understand. I thought that you and her broke up about 3 months ago. I didn’t know that you were back together, not that I’m not happy for you. Sure Elizabeth can help out, I know she has a niece a little young then Michael, and they should get along great. Just one quick question DID YOU SAY THAT SHE WAS GOING TO LIVE FOR YOU?”
“Yeah, that’s what you usually do, when you get married.” Jason replied.
“Your going to marry her. Jason I don’t understand. Is she making you do this?”
“No, lets just call a agreement.” Jason said.
“If your sure your ok with it, then the best of the luck to, so when are you to going to get married?” Sonny asked.
“We’re going to be married on Monday at 2:00 at her sister’s house. Would you mind being my best man, would it be alright it Michael could be our ring barrier.” Jason said.
“Sure, that’s fine. Just wait till I tell Carly.” Sonny said.
“Is she going to be alright with Elizabeth helping to take care of her son?” Jason asked.
“She should be fine with it. Ever since she got pregnant with our second child, she has been mellow, but maybe she’s up to something. Any way, she’ll just be happy that for the last three months of her pregnancy she will be away from everyone, and she can relax, before she gives birth.” Sonny said.
“That’s good for her, I don’t know about you? Are you going to be able to handle her with all her mood swings?” Jason asked.
“Piece of cake, all I have to do is show her who is boss. Any way talking of wife’s, will go shopping to tux’s later this afternoon, as soon as Michael is done with preschool. Meet back here at 2:00.” Sonny said.

“How do you like this one?” Elizabeth said trying what was her 5th wedding dress.
“No, it’s not just you. Try this one on for me.” Megan said handing her the ivory sleeveless dress.
“Ok, how about you try this pick dress on? While I’m trying to put this one on.” Elizabeth said.
Minutes they immerged, Emily and Megan both in the pink dress that Elizabeth wanted them to try on, and Elizabeth in the ivory sleeveless wedding dress.
“Oh I like.” Megan and Emily both said at the same time, pointing to Elizabeth’s wedding dress.
“On no, but I agree with the wedding dress that you made me put on.” Elizabeth said pointing to the dress that both of the girls had put on.
“I told you so, and I agree that the dress, that were both wearing, does nothing for us.” Megan said.
“Ok, I’ll get the wedding dress, bit do me one thing, try this aqua color dress on, with the sparkles.” Elizabeth said to both girls.
Minutes later both of the girls immerged in the dress that Elizabeth saw at the corner of her eye.
“Were definitely going with this dress.” Emily said.
With that settled they started picking dresses for Anastasia. All the girls found the white dress, that flowed to the grown, lovely, and when Anastasia put it on she looked like an angel.
With that settled, they took all four dresses to the counter to buy them. When Elizabeth noticed the price on her wedding dress. $12,000. That was too much to pay for a dress. Megan knowing her sister was like that, calmed her nerves buy reaching into her purse to pull out her credit card. When Johnny saw what was happening. He reached into his pocket and pulled out thousands of dollars. Telling the girls,
“I’m under strick orders to pay for the hole thing. The boss won’t like it, if he sends his future sister-law in dept.”
Elizabeth and Megan went to fight the request, but they knew it was useless.
