The Beast Within
"The Beast Within"
I have seen many of us out there use the word Beast as a refference concerning their Vampyric Side. This is to help you understand why. The word Beast is actually reffering to the more Primal almost animal like instinct reaction we all have in each of us. This comes to mind many times especially when someone is going through an awakening due to fact that the mind doesn't know how to define it in any other way but that at the time. I have also seen it used by other that have differing Natures like Lupine for example and others. I even use it sometimes with this statement :
"The Beast Within"
(because to me when that side of me kicks in I do feel somewhat Primal)
Then I remember the other phrase I put along with it:
"Control the Beast or it Controls You!"
My suggestion is to anyone with a strong Instinctual Nature, it is a must to learn to keep this aspect under control or you may do something you normally would not do!
Control of this Nature is a very important issue we must all face or we will not be able to function as useful members of society. Yes it is a put of you just as much as you are a part of it. After dealing with it a few times you soon find this symbionic relationship and how it can be useful at times. It can protect you at from harm and give you warnings on empending danger because it is the built in survival aspect of you.
It isn't a fear but a health respect for what you are capable of that you should strive for. As for my self the only fear I have with it is that someone is going to get hurt if I do give completely in. In this day and age with so many that want to do nothing but get on your last nerve it definately could have some really bad results for you and others.
To disipline the instictual side of ones self can bring many advantages. Like the taming of a wild Beast, all the strenght minus some of the weakness like blinding and lack of focus one sees in an out and out rage. Controlled enough to know when and when not unleash it to your best advantage.
