We have added a few things to the requirements to power and ability upgrades. Be sure and read the details in the most recent update when you request a new power / upgrade.
Well, its the weekend here at MHS. Wouldn't it be great if all schools started on a Friday for the first day of school. What a way to start off. You get a weekend right after your first day. Well, this is because we are done with the first day of class. How so you ask. As you only went to one class. yes, but I am sure that doing the same thing for each class would get boring. So the one class you experienced is basically how all the classes are going to be.
Teacher posts role. Day gets started, end of class happens, everyone goes to their next class, or home..
Well, ezboard still hasn't confirmed anything on a final date when everything is changed over to Yuku. And we are working on what to do next. We all want user friendliness after everything is changed away from Ezbaord, and we are trying everything we can to ensure that we have just that when we are at a new board hosting site.

The Cheese Stands Alone! (Open)
From her room, she watches all. From the roof she sees all. The Eye of MHS, Kanami Miyamoto, now could go even deeper into the subjects that inhabit the school. The recent emergence of her power, touch projection, makes it possible for her to get up close and personal...without being seen! How long she was able to keep this up, she was not entirely sure. The first morning she woke up from a long-night of watching video feeds of the 3rd floor dorms, the faint patterns of her comforter were faint but visible on her skin; what a sight! Kanami had scant few occasions where she had been able to properly test out her powers. In the quad, there were several places that she could test out the extent of her abilities. Walls, grass, benches, a couple of decorative trees; she'll try them all!
The spunky girl dressed warm for the cold snap of weather; pink hooded jacket, white turtleneck, a pair of black jeans and boots. She tied her hair back up a simple loose ponytail with a pair of long tendrils curled and bouncing against her cheeks. her hands, though gloved, were stuffed into her pockets. There were few students outside, most retreating home or their dorms for warmth. This weather was nothing, Kanami thought to herself, there were colder places to be...like Newfoundland or Siberia!
The sight would be rather odd to anyone who would notice the girl staring at the library wall. Just staring, studying the wall. Kanami pulled off her gloves, revealing her bare hands to the cold weather and pressed them against the wall. One...two...three; she stepped close until she was pressed up against the wall.
And then she would be gone, melded into the wall...or so it seemed. Kanami could feel a sensation washing over her body, meaning the projection had to be working. She became the wall and was able to watch people pass by without them knowing there was a firey girl watching them. Her hands stung from the cold and she had to admit that but hell this was fun! Once she pushed off the wall, the projection fell and Kanami was visible again.
"Cool...if only I had this when I was a kid! I'd be the hide and seek champion." She rubbed her bare hands together and started scouting for another place to try out the projection.
The cold weather might bother most everyone. Perhaps there are those few that simply try to toughen it out. Yet then there are those few that most everyone might just give a sideways glance to unsure what is going through there minds.
Walking through the quad slowly, his hands together like they are normally seen as he walks Merciah has left the dorms and moves in the direction of the garden. He isn't wearing anything special even in the cold weather. He simply wears his usual turquoise colored robe and the thin leather shoes that he has had for so long.
Perhaps he is one that everyone turns there heads to wondering why. In this cold weather you would wear something more appropriate then what you wore during the summer and spring right?
Well, none the less, Merciah is seen in his usual garments. Yet to the casual observer it isn't visible, but to those who look. Merciah might seem thicker then he usually does. Ahh, that would explain why he seems to care so little for the cold. His garments are layered, he does wear something under his robe, though it seems otherwise at a first glance.
OOC: Oh my goodness. I'm going through your Deviant profile. I have missed so much, and you have become so much better. Once again I vow to return as your biggest fan. ^_^

Has everyone heard, there have been attacks in the forest. More and more students are showing up in Mrs Hanabishi's ward by the day. What's going on. It's the talk of the school.

A color of turquoise passing by would catch the mischievous girl's eye. It was a young man wearing robes and leather shoes, walking in a stoic and mindful fashion towards the garden. Kanami was the curious type of course, curious as to why in the world one would not wear a jacket in this weather? The girl smirked, slipping the gloves in her jacket pocket and started following after him.
Oh-ho, fun fun...
Being that Kanami had not been able to see his face fully, her mind had not been able to ID him. It was alert however, ready to find a match when she found the opportunity. Besides, when in doubt, blend in...literally! She kept herself walking as close to the building exterior as possible, in case she needed to press her hands to the frigid walls and become nearly invisible.

Walking towards the garden, nothing specific on his mind Merciah stops at the entrance as a breeze blows out from the garden. His hair which has grown during his time here waves in the wind. Brushing his hand once through his hair to straighten it out, he then continues into the garden stopping at some of the bushes and examining the flowers that bloom during the winter months.
Finally continuing farther into the garden Merciah stops at the entrance of the part of the garden that he has been tending since his arrival at Manga High School. One of his few hobbies that allow him some comfort and even a few memories of when he was younger in China.
At the entrance where he has stopped, he removes his mocasins and steps lightly onto the soft grass, no barefoot, but with no care for the cold. The small sanctuary that he has created for himself seeming to ward off the cold. The way the plants grow, they seem to insulate the small garden from the cold.
