Re: The Day After Tomorrow
In "Tomorrow," Gyllenhaal's love interest is 17-year-old Emmy Rossum ("Mystic River"). Their big moment comes after they get soaked by freezing-cold water and escape into an abandoned store. "Jake strips down to his shorts, and Emmy puts her arms around him - it's very erotic,"
:O
jake strips down to his shorts? that's the most fantastic news i've heard all day.
next weekend is gonna rock, seeing day after tomorrow Friday night and then Harry Potter bank holiday monday (not on the weekend I know, but I don't care)
Re: :O
Im gonna see it but i dont have high expectations for it, i just like the way its always america that gets it, will be the first film i see with jake in it, he weirds me out, i dunno if its his permanent frown or freaky eyebrows, i dunno summin about him.
Re: The Day After Tomorrow
I've been waiting to see this film since December 31st 2003 when I opened the first page of Empire magazine and saw the breath-taking double-page ad for the very first time!
I'm going to see it on thursday.
I seriously can not wait! It's my film hope for 2004!
Saw review on teletext. Says all the action takes place in the first half hour. The rest is just them talking between cups of tea discussing how bad the weather's been this time of year! Boring they said..sounds like it!
Why cant they make a decent disaster film? Armageddon was dire. Deep Impact better. Independence day stupid but good was exciting.
They never concentrate on a good script or story.
