The Rules
Please follow these, or you could end up banned:
1. No profanity, whatsoever.
2. You control only your character. Example below.
Wrong: Jon asked Jen for a soda. Jen said yes.
Right: Jon asked Jen for a soda. He awaited her reply.
3. No posting links. If you do, your post will be edited.
4. No links in you signature.
5. OOC (out of character) is to be kept in those forums.
6. No posting email addresses or Instant Messenger name's. If you want to give out that information, PM it to their private account.
7. No internet slang (such as "U" for "YOU").
8. Don't whine.
9. You have no right against a professor. His/Her word is final.
10. Don't let someone else post under your name, in other words: Don't let a friend or someone else role play your character.
11. Play at your own risk. We're not responsible for someone hurting your feelings, or you giving your email out to an untrustworthy person or anything along those lines.
12. If you have a girlfriend/boyfriend, remember: Nothing more than an innocent kiss.
13. Only humans are allowed for characters.
14. This is the present time, but consider this a different dismension. No one from the books exist. No Harry, no Dumbledore, and no Voldemort. Hey, it's a happy world 
15. No one has an invisibility cloak.
16. No one has a Firebolt.
17. Remember your level. I don't want to see a 2nd year making a time machine or a 1st year using a summoning charm. Try to think out what it would really be like.
18. You can't be related to someone from the books, nor can you be someone from the books.
19. No site advertising is allowed.
20. You may play as many characters as you want, so long as they have a proper bio, but the catch is you have to make a different account for your other characters.
21. You are NOT allowed to give out any board passwords. Only professors and moderators have that privilege. This means not posting them as well.
22. Do not bash people.
23. Under any circumstances, you MAY NOT kill/Mamie another character without their permission. After you receive their permission, it must be cleared by an administrator first, so contact one.
24. No power playing. Your character should not always perform a spell correctly. Your character isn't Super Man, he/she is a student.
These rules can be changed at any time. Have fun
