The Trio Arrives (ISO anyone!)
It was clear just from the formation in which they entered that the girl in the front was like a leader of sorts. Her black hair was sleek and shiny, cascading around her shoulders in a manner that seemed almost impossible to accomplish. Her makeup was perfectly placed, accentuating her dark eyes and her high cheekbones. She had a radiant smile, full of perfect white teeth, and there was an air about her that no one could quite describe. Her name was Brooke Bovay, and she was 15 years old, but there were times when she acted much, much older. Of course, there were other occasions when she acted her age or possibly even younger. Like now.
"I'm so excited!" Brooke said, practically bouncing as she looked around the hall at her new home. "Can you believe we're finally here?"
Kristin Langley, with her sweet demeanor and sparkling eyes, couldn't help but grin at her best friend. "Yep-this is what we've been waiting for all this time, huh, Brookita?" she asked with a laugh as she tried to take it all in. The paintings, the tapestries, the suits of armor... The doors everywhere, the moving staircases, and even the odd ghost passing through. It was exhilerating to the Hufflepuff girl.

"I think I like it here already," Allison Montgomery said with a laugh, pointing to a picture of a fat monk as she took the helmet off of one of the swords of armor and placed it on Brooke's head, an action that was sure to have her best friend screaming bloody murder in a matter of seconds. Sure enough, Brooke's shrieks filled the hall.
"Well-hopefully that will attract the new people we're dying to meet," Allie said with a wink to Kristin.

Sure enough when Linda heard the shrirks from the entrance hall she quicky rushed in. She looked around to see if anything was wrong but everything looked normal.
"Why was someone shrieking?" Linda asked the girls she didn't know.

"Oh, that's just Brooke being Brooke... Doesn't want anything messing up her perfect hair," Allie said in a teasing voice, knowing Brooke was deaf to any comment she might make at the moment as she pointed her elbow at the girl with the knights helmet on.
"I'm Allison Montgomery, by the way-you can call me Allie, though," the brunette Gryffindor said.

"Oh, yeah, pay no attention to her-she thinks shes Miss America or something sometimes. I'm Kristin Langley, by the way-it's nice to finally meet someone around here," she said with a grin to her housemate that she vaguely remembered seeing at the opening feast. She had been busy talking to some other 4th year.

Linda giggled when Kristin made the Miss America comment. Brooke seemed a little like Linda's little sister, Alexis.
"I'm Linda Ashmore. Are you all new to Hogwarts?" The strawberry blond Hufflepuff asked the girls.

"Aghhhh!" Brooke shrieked as she finally pried the helmet off her head.
"Yep... all new," she said, huffing a little bit as she tried to smooth her perfect hair.

"You all are going to love it here. Hogwarts is such a great school not because of what we learn but because how fun it is here," Linda responded with a small smile
"Oh, yay! I can't wait to meet them," Allie said with a fantastic grin. "I love exciting stuff-exciting people. You know what I mean," Allie shrugged.

"Yeah I know what you mean," Linda said nodding her head. Linda knew a lot of wild people at Hogwarts but she wasn't really one of them.
"So do you any of you like quidditch?" Linda asked randomly.

"Ye..." Kristin began, then, seeing Brooke's gaze, quickly shook her head. "No-not really," she said halfheartedly.
Allie, on the other hand, looked enthusiastic. "I really want to try out for Gryffindor!" she confessed./

"I heard that the Gryffindor tryouts are in a few days," Linda said. "I adore quidditch. It's my all time favorite sport. I'm the seeker on the Hufflepuff quidditch team," Linda smiled.

"Yeah when I watch quidditch matches it's my favorite postion to watch also," Linda said with a slight smile. "Of course I like looking for the snitch more then watching another seeker look for it,"
