Thowe Williams
Name: Thowe Williams
Age: 14
Grade: 9th
Appearance: Thowe is 5'6 and weighs 140 pounds. He looks lighter than he really is. He has a nice set of abs, but his arms are fairly small. Thowe usually is never seen without his jet black jacket. He got this jacket from his grandfather on his 12th birthday. It has his last name on it, and the number 55. When Thowe wears this jacket, he feels as if he is closer to his grandfather. He usually wears jeans on his lower body. Thowe has short brown hair that is usually a mess. He only does it on special occasions. He has deep blue eyes that look like they go on for ever, like the ocean. He also always wears his black nikes, no matter what the occasion. He thinks they give him good luck.
Personality: Thowe usually is a nice person. He is very open to all kinds of people. He doesn't judge people by the way they look. He is sometimes kind of a goofball. He'll make some stupid jokes to break the ice, and fail trying. Thowe is also a very likeable person. The one thing about him is that he is too trusting. He will trust someone with his life that he might have just met yesterday. When betrayed, he has a bit of a mean streak in him, and the normally nice Thowe will disappear, and a more aggresive one will come out. Thowe has no major fears, except death. After he lost his grandfather, he doesn't want to lose anymore of his loved ones. He now attemps to do too much to try and help people after his grandfather died. If there is one thing that he truely hates, its people that enjoy to kill. He could never imagine why someone would just want to kill somebody else for no real reason. When he is in a fight, he will stop at nothing to try and spare the person's life.
Special Power 1: Spirit Sword: Thowe can use his energy to create a sword. The sword is red in color, and looks like a lightsaber's blade. The power has a few setbacks however. First of all, it takes complete concentration for Thowe to use it. If he hears so much as a pin drop, he won't be able to pull it off. Secondly, when he has been able to execute it, it only increased to the size of a toothpick.
Special Power 2: True Sight: With this power, Thowe can see thourgh inanimate objects. He can see through walls, doors, and pretty much anything else that doesn't move. He currently has no idea how to use this power yet. The only time he actually pulled if off was when he grandfather died and he was overcome by emotion.
History: Thowe was born on May 24, 1992. He was born in the town of Rhinebeck, New York. His father's name is Gene Williams, while his mother is Maria Williams.
When he was two years old, his father got into a bad car accident and was taken to the emergency room. It was there that he died after losing to much blood. Thowe's mother was devistated. She went into a depression, and then finally put Thowe up for adoption. One year later a man by the name of Zebidiah Lindhurst adopted Thowe. Thowe was too young to remember this, so he thought that Zebidiah was his true grandfather. Zebidiah actually was a black belt in Tae Kwon Doe. He trained Thowe at a young age, and by the age of 8, Thowe had already became a black belt himself.
At the age of 12, Thowe returned home from elementary school to find a car parked in the driveway that he didn't reconize. When he went inside, two men with guns were inside. One pointed the gun at Zebidiah's head. Thowe ran up stairs and grabbed his grandfather's hunting rifle. He then heard a bang from downstairs. When he went down there, his grandfather was dead. Thowe was devestated. For some reason though, he could still see the men. They were headed to their car. Thowe could see them through the wall. He ran outside and started firing aimlessly at their car, but to no avail. They got away. He now had no family. This led him to some quiet, sad nights alone. One night, he woke up with something on his hand. This was where he first incountered the Sprit Sword. His body had created it without him doing anything. Thowe thought this was a sign that he had a gift. He heard about Manga High, and decided to apply. He hopes that Manga High would help him further develop these powers he has.

EXAMPLE ROLE-PLAYING POST: July 14
Wow, guess I really freaked out that last time I wrote in here huh? Well I know its only been half a year, but I feel much more mature. I've decided to use this journal as a place to collect my thoughts. Many things have happened in this time period that I've haven't written in here. Well, here goes.
After my grandfather died, I was mad with rage. Still am. I wanted to find somebody to train me how to fight with a sword. I travelled to the biggest city in all of DaeLuin; MoonCrest. There I decided to go to the town center, see if I could find any job openings. I met a man named Tykon. He was a middle aged man, if I had to guess I'd say he was about 40 years old. The guy could fight. I remember I was looking at the big board in the town center and he asked me what I was looking for. I just told him it was nothing he needed to know. (Well maybe I threw in an old man remark as well) and he hit me with a hard blow to the stomach that was faster than the average person's eye could see. I fell to the ground. Tykon then walked away muttering about kids these days. I ran up to him after I recovered my breath and asked him to train me. He laughed and kept walking. I kept pestering him, but he still refused. I had my mind set; this would be the man to train me. I was willing to do anything that he wanted me to do. He seemed intrigued. He said that his challenge was for me to fight the group of people that would steal from the people on the street he lived in. I knew he could easily do this, but he just wanted to test me. I agreed.
On my down the alley, I was jumped by some members of the gang. They wanted all the money I had on me. I refused and wiggled out of one of the member's arms. I ran up to the first one and did roundhouse kick that knocked him off his feet. One came from behind me and I elbowed him in the gut, turned around and hit him with an uppercut on his jaw. More members came out. The gang was fairly large, too large for me to handle. I remember hitting one thug with a right hook, and hitting the one next to him with an axe kick. Then a few of the jumped on me and kept hitting me. They knocked me out cold. I then woke up in a dark room. One of the men that I hit had a nice sized lump over his eye. I felt my face. My nose was busted open and my right eye was swelled shut. I needed to get out of here. I was more worried about living then being excepted by Tykon at this point.
That's enough for tonight. I'm pretty tired. My friends and I have a long journey ahead of us.
