THUNDER


Thunder oh Lord in the heart of man
Echo off the walls of my heart
Expand it with your voice of thunder
Tear and rip the stoney part

Take your throne within my Soul
Command the birds sing
And the thunders roll
Shadow me with your wing

Stretch the skins of my vessel
And have lightning strike the root
Of my condition
Wash me clean from the fire’s soot

Let me hear your thunder roll
In the Valley of my Soul
Let your thunder echo between the tops
Of the mountains high between the rocks

Let your lightning blaze the skies
That are darkened by the evil lies
Let it blaze from east to west
Give your saints their needed rest

Faster Faster Lord
The day approaches
Because of evil
Free will encroaches
Dieing Daily to flesh and blood
Made from clay
And watered mud
Redemption lies in
Cups of Gold
Tried in Fire
To hot to hold
And the water
Boils and settles
Like the brew
In the kettle
And the thunder echoes
Through the Generations blood
And reminds us that
We’re watered Mud
