We have added a few things to the requirements to power and ability upgrades. Be sure and read the details in the most recent update when you request a new power / upgrade.
Well, its the weekend here at MHS. Wouldn't it be great if all schools started on a Friday for the first day of school. What a way to start off. You get a weekend right after your first day. Well, this is because we are done with the first day of class. How so you ask. As you only went to one class. yes, but I am sure that doing the same thing for each class would get boring. So the one class you experienced is basically how all the classes are going to be.
Teacher posts role. Day gets started, end of class happens, everyone goes to their next class, or home..
Well, ezboard still hasn't confirmed anything on a final date when everything is changed over to Yuku. And we are working on what to do next. We all want user friendliness after everything is changed away from Ezbaord, and we are trying everything we can to ensure that we have just that when we are at a new board hosting site.

It was a quiet day in the garden as daedelus entered.
He then dat down on one of the benches and waited for the person that he was going to meet. While waiting, he took out his manga comic book(this time it is dothack book I) he sat there reading as he waited.

Hawthorne wandered into the Garden. She had such good memories here, and they kept drawing her back. Usually she wouldn't be comfortable outside this late, but since she was supposed to meet someone, she figured she'd be fine. Still, she had all her spikes on, you could never be too safe. Though perhaps both bracelets and the collar was overkill. She didn't quite trust the guy though, and she wanted to have every defense available at her fingertips.
She moved cautiously, nervously crumpling the edge of her Cannibal Corpse t-shirt in her hands. Why did she agree to come out here? She shouldn't have. She was seriously considering turning back when she noticed Daedelus sitting on a bench and reading.
Well, here goes nothing.
She approached the boy, moving silently in her worn moccasins. Not even a crunch of autumn leaves or crack of a twig to betray her prescence. She moved until she was standing right next to the bench.

Daedelus, suddenly stopped reading his book . He then closed it. So she is finally here, he this should prove interesting. He thought to himself. Then hearing her voice, he got up from the bench, and returned her greeting.
"Hello Hawthorne, how are you doing. I am sorry if we got off on the wrong foot the other day. It is a beutiful night is it not?" Then noticing her outfit, he wondered to himself.
he suddenly had a thought: Why all of the spikes on her outfit? it looks cool but, what is she dressed to fight against? Hmm interesting . he thought to himself.

"I'm fine. I hope you are as well." Her speech was very stilted, very formal, as if she was very uncomfortable. "The other day was . . . awkward."
She was not going to go into details about her own private paranoia with this virtual stranger, she wasn't even sure if she wanted to stick around. She fiddled with her bracelets, swirling them around her wrists. No one was gonna grab ahold of her tonight, that was for sure.

Then with that he threw back his hood. after his hood was thrown back there was a face. His face was rather odd. It had grey skin, he had pointed ears, a pair of eyes that were normal with the exception that they were blood red. His hair was also the same color and it came down past his shoulders, and half way down his back. Last but not least, there were his pointed teeth that looked very sharp. Then last but not least, there was a black crescent with a white dot in the middle of it. Since it was night time his eyes glowed even brighter then they did in the day time. They were so bright one could see them from miles away.

Hawthorne just stared wide-eyed at Daedelus. He was . . . different looking. But she wasn't sure how that was supposed to allay any of her suspicions. He looked like something out of a horror novel. Some beastie creeping out of the pit in order to do horrible things to little children left alone.
Involuntarily she took a step back, never taking her eyes off of the boy. She had known it was a dumb idea to come out here, and there was her proof, sitting right in front of her eyes. She took another step backwards, breathing faster. She could feel the fight-or-flight reflexes within her pumping into action.
"Ummm . . . I don't think this was such a good idea . . ."
She wanted to turn and run, but she didn't want to show this guy her back. It was a tight spot for her, but everything inside screamed that she had to get away, now! What should she do?!?

Daedelus frowned. I knew she might be scared of this face of mine, mostly everyone is, but this is a little bit over the top isn't it? He thought to himself.
"I am sorry to scare you, am I the first drow that you have seen? Most of my kind are like this.
But I am different, the marking on my forehead is related to my special ability. It is known as master thief, it lets me steal things from a long distance, away eventually it will be powerful enough for me to steal almost anything. But the drawback is, that I can not use it except for an hour at a time, then i must wait for nighttime again to use it.
This is the way i have always looked, if my real appearance scares you too much, i can put my hood back on. It is ok, it freaks out most people, but sometimes, it relieves them when they know what is underneath the hood i wear. But, now you know why i wear a hood. I am sorry to have scared you. It is not something i make a habit of doing. once again, i do not mean to scare you. I am not going to hurt you." he then waited for a response.

Ryoko was in a tree not to far from where they were. She was leaning against the tree. Ryoko watched them silently. One of the traits of being a thief was that she could move quietly and no one would suspect her. She was about seven meters away from the two.
Her blood red eyes watched them cautiously. She finally recognised one of them. The girl she'd previously met at the gym. But the other guy, she did not recognise. She watched as he pulled off his hood. Honestly, it did not scare her. Ryoko had already met someone who looked a little like him before. But even if she had not, he wouldn't have scared her anyway.
Crossing her arms in front of her chest, Ryoko watched them out of the corner of her eye as she allowed her leg to drop down off the branch and hang there slightly. I wonder what's going on with them. She thought. Hawthorne seemed a little scared of the guy, and she stated that she regretted meeting them. If worst came to worst for her, Ryoko could easily help her out anyway.

Hawthorne knew what a Drow was. She'd read about them in books. They delighted in slaughter and chaos, and they definitely ate babies. Not to mention, as far as she knew, they had a complete disregard for the rights of any other life form that was not Drow. She desperately searched for a way out of the situation. She didn't care about his people or his markings, she didn't want to be alone with him at all.
She noticed another figure sitting in a tree not far away, she couldn't tell who it was, but she didn't particularly care overmuch. At this point anyone would be better than him. She started backing away from Daedelus, angling towards the tree.
"Look man, I'm not really that keen on getting to know a Drow. I've read all about y'all, and you don't seem like a very friendly people. Asides from that, not really keen on getting to know someone who could take my stuff so simply."
You know what they say about thieves, they have the best traps for other thieves. And, since Hawthorne had spent a good part of her life as a pickpocket, she really didn't want a magical thief around. Couldn't gaurd against those.

" Why is it that you "humans" all think of us as the same. If you knew my history, then you would know that it is not possible for me to hurt you!
Do you even know why I am here? perhaps you should not be so cruel with your comments. take this in mind, perhaps you should get to know me before judging me by what race I am. I like humans, and i enjoy their company(not saying that in a perverted way.) it is because of this to my people, I am an EXILE. To my people, I am dead to them. So I came here because i thought i could get a fresh start, and maybe a second chance at life, and not be judged because of what I am.
Lastly, so what I have thiefing powers, I use those for good too. So could you please just give me a chance, instead of hating me for my race?
He stood there calmly, and waited for her reply.
Daedelus was waiting for a reply from Hawthorne, when out of the corner of his eye, he noticed someone in a tree. He then let out a sigh, "whoever you are you can come out of the tree."

Hawthorne stared cold-eyed at Daedelus. He sure went on a lot, but he didn't say anything that affected her much. She didn't care about his opinions on her views. He was stupid.
"You think people should look at you and see all that? Are you dumb? People play it safe. If they approached a Drow as if he was friendly, they'd pretty much get killed without a blink. How can you expect anyone to be normal around you? Isn't that why you wear the hood? To hide what you are?"
(OOC: that was rather cold. Why do you have to be so mean in chracter. You do know that if you are any colder to him, why do you wnat to make me an enemy?)
Daedelus then suddenly had a rather sad look in his eyes.
"It is pretty sad that you could stand to be around me only if i wear my hood. Maybe I should have just ignored your singing that day. You are so cold and cruel to a person that you will not give a chance."
Daedelus said as he looked to the ground. ( if you payed attention you would see tears hit the ground.) He stood there shaking, waiting for her response.

Hawthorne was cold, from the inside out. So much of what made her happy and free was taken from her at a very young age. She looked on dispassionately as the boy seemed to lose his grip on his emotions, and she softened, just a little. She didn't like to make people cry.
"That's not what I said, you're taking this outta context. But man, you gotta be used to people receiving you kinda cold. Anyone who's different gets it, and you look . . . well . . . scary."
There really wasn't anymore to say there. He did. Hell, he still was freaking her out, but she had a thing for underdogs. Still, she didn't usually find herself defending fellas like this. It was . . . odd.

Chris walked in smoke in mouth bouncing around like he was on speed "man these smokes u gave me, make me feel goofy and bouncy oh My god this shit gets u fucked up" as Chris drops in between the two crazy kids he turns to Daedelus "so where'd you get these drugs from man and why did u give them to me as the drug smoke raised up the tree" Chris turned to Hawthorne "and hawtty whats up girl, Im pretty sure Im high right now, this guy here gave me some tobacco's near the waterfalls and i think its drugs now hahahaha"

Perhaps, perhaps she should give Granom another chance. After all, he seemed rather sincere. She was just about to say so when Christopher entered, acting crazy, her eyes widened as he spoke.

Did he just call her hottie? That was an odd thought. But waitaminute. Daedelus had given him drugs? Hawthorne's eyes went cold again, and she turned on Daedelus.
"Look, I can understand not faulting you for the people you came from. But, I cannot consort with those who pass out opiates and intoxicants to the masses. It goes against everything I try to stand for."
She turned around, making sure to smile at Christopher. After all, he had thought that they were just cigarettes, it wasn't his fault if he was high now. She patted him on the shoulder.
"Hello my friend, I'm glad you are enjoying yourself. But I believe I was just leaving."

Ryoko watched as the two started yelling at each other. She initially believed that Hawthorne may be in some kind of danger, so she stood up, ready to jump in and stop that guy. After all, Ryoko would protect her friends. That was just how she was. But they calmed down, in a small sense, so she was glad she didn't react when she thought she should.

The voice of a stranger startled Ryoko, almost to the point of falling off he branch. She looked over and saw someone in the trees. Assessing the voice for a moment, she came to the conclusion that it was Jun. " Hey, Jun!" Ryoko whispered, trying to get his attention. She sighed, it was probably no use. He was quite far away after all. She looked back to the people and saw that Chris, the guy she'd met this morning, was looking like he was going to pass out.
Watching closely as Hawthorne got angry again, this time she wondered if the other guy would react and possibly get angry. Ryoko knew that with all the power Chris had in his own two hands, if he was high like they say, it wouldn't do him much good. So he would be unable to protect anyone. But then she remembered that Jun was there too. Ryoko looked back over to where he was. Hawthorne was friends with him, he wouldn't let anything happen to her.

(OOC: Granom, the reason why i used the space tobacco the way i did is because, i don't believe that you could know what the effects of space tobacco would have on a human therefore i request that you re-open this post because i believe everyone is having fun in this post. i also believe that Christopher is adding some much needed comic relief from the situation and there is many ways this could go. Please continue because this post was getting very interesting)

Daedelus's eyes widened as well. Interesting effect my gift has on humans. But this is BAD I just spent a LONG time here convincing hawthorne NOT to hate my guts now chris has waltzed in here and ruined that. Grrrr it looks like i will have to fix this.
"Hawthorne wait, I did not know that my gift would have this affect on him. If i knew it did this to humans, then i would not have given it to him. But first to make him sociable. he took chris by the arm and dunked him in the fountain until he was no longer high. he then looked at chris are you ok?" he asked with a concerned look.
