We have added a few things to the requirements to power and ability upgrades. Be sure and read the details in the most recent update when you request a new power / upgrade.
Well, its the weekend here at MHS. Wouldn't it be great if all schools started on a Friday for the first day of school. What a way to start off. You get a weekend right after your first day. Well, this is because we are done with the first day of class. How so you ask. As you only went to one class. yes, but I am sure that doing the same thing for each class would get boring. So the one class you experienced is basically how all the classes are going to be.
Teacher posts role. Day gets started, end of class happens, everyone goes to their next class, or home..
Well, ezboard still hasn't confirmed anything on a final date when everything is changed over to Yuku. And we are working on what to do next. We all want user friendliness after everything is changed away from Ezbaord, and we are trying everything we can to ensure that we have just that when we are at a new board hosting site.

Hawthorne had had a long couple of days settling in at the school, exploring, meeting new people. Not exactly something she was good at. She was just looking for somewhere to relax and mull things over. It had definitely been more pleasant than she had expected. She was actually making friends, something she hadn't done in a long time, and as such she was pleased with herself and her progress. With only one major break-down behind her, the new school year was certainly looking up. For once.
As she settled into one of the heated springs, she hid her self-consciousness as best she could. She rarely went about in anything other than the ripped jeans and oversized t-shirts that made up her unofficial "uniform". Besides, her swimsuit was a black one piece she had bought at the discount store, and it made her feel fat.
That and the ratty towel she had brought with her left her a little horrified with herself. Where were all these shallow thoughts coming from? They didn't seem like things that should float around the head of a girl covered in piercings. Hawthorne was a little ashamed of herself, so she quickly quelled the thoughts. Oh well, that was part of the reason she came down here, right? To go over her thoughts?
The water felt fabulous, and she caught herself absently wishing for someone to enjoy it with. She shook her head, silently laughing at herself. Boy had she changed over the last few days. Her old Da wouldn't even recognize her, she was sure of it. Perhaps she'd even use some of that money she had saved up to purchase some new clothes, after all, it's not like she needed to save up to move out anymore. She was free of that particular prison.
Stella made her way carefully to the hot springs, a bright blue towel in hand. She had had a very interesting start to the year. She smiled as she touched the bump at the back of her head. Her near drowning had not been a highlight, that was for certain. But her head was healing nicely.
Stella put her towel down on a try area of the ground, and quickly braided her hair. Her rushed job left small tendrils escaping to tickle her face, and she tucked one behind her ear absentmindedly before picking up her towel again. She was wearing her blue and silver two piece again, and she shivered slightly. The hot water was looking more appealing by the second.
But someone was already in. Stella narrowed her eyes slightly, trying to make out the figure through the steam. She thought she recognised the girl… yes; it was the one she had run into in the gardens, the one who had been so scared of strangers. She cleared her throat, not wanting to give the girl a shock when she entered the pool. Stella crossed to the opposite side, her white braid hitting her back lightly with each step.
“Hello again,” Stella said. She would not have spoken if there had been more then the two of them, but it seemed only polite to speak. She was unsure how the girl would react though, or even if she would remember her.

Hawthorne was startled when the girl entered, but not to the same extent as the last time they had encountered one another. She had settled down a bit, and the relaxing waves of hot water were helping. She smiled a sheepish greeting at the white-haired girl, wishing she had been as thoughtful as to braid her hair before getting into the wet.
"Hello . . . again."
She racked her brain. Where had she encountered this girl before? She hadn't run into very many people here . . . ahh! That was it. They had met in the garden, with Jun-Bo. Hawthorne blushed bright red. She had not been very nice to the girl at all. She was thoroughly embarassed for her previous actions, but just didn't have the people skills to smooth over it properly. Still, she wasn't such a coward that she wouldn't try.
"Did you enjoy the gardens the other night? I . . . I apologize if I was abrupt with you. Sometimes I don't deal so well with others."
There. She had done it. Now she just had to hope that the other girl would accept her apology. Hawthorne was a much stronger person, just in the space of time since she had arrived. She wondered how much of that was herself, and how much was a certain green-eyed boy . . .

Stella smiled as she slowly eased herself into the water. She could see it had been hard for the girl to think of what to say.
“No harm done, I apologise again for interrupting you.” Stella sighed as she settled down into the water. “Though I do not really understand why you were so scared of Me.” her mouth twitched up to the left, giving her a crooked smile. “I know what it is like to be shy, but you seemed to be terrified.”
Stella stoped, she didn’t want to put the girl on the spot.
“Never mind, let’s start again.” she smiled again, her eyes lightening to their normal blue. “I’m Stella, I’m 16 and I’m new here.” She smiled again, though this time it was softer. “it is a pleasure to meet you.”

Was she truly terrified of the girl the other day? Probably. She was still very skittish after all. Jun-Bo had done so much to calm her down. She guessed it had been pretty bad for the girl to bring it up again, but she really appreciated her wanting to start over.
"My name's Hawthorne, and I'm also 16. I had only just arrived last time we met up. I apologize again though. Meeting strangers is . . . tense for me."
She shrugged, trying to dismiss it as a minor character flaw. There wasn't much she could really do about it, but it really embarassed her. She wished she wasn't so jumpy all the time, but Jun-Bo was helping with that . . . She liked him so much, and couldn't wait to see him again.

“As I said, no harm done.” Stella smiled, and then closed her eyes and sank down into the water, letting it lap at her neck. “I myself really don’t like crowds, but then again, before I started here I had only talked to my uncle. So it’s a bit of a change for me.”
She opened one eye to look at Hawthorn. “You seem better now, less jumpy” Stella suddenly her other eye opened and she covered her mouth with her hands she had not meant to sound so condescending. “That was very rude of me,” she said, her voice slightly muffled by her hands. “I apologise.”

Hawthorne smiled, not in the least offended. In fact, she was comforted, her lowered tension levels were really beginning to show.
"Don't worry about it, I don't have very good people skills either. Besides, I am less jumpy. Jun-Bo . . . the guy I was with in the garden the other day, he's done so much to help me calm down. He's helping me to develop a sense of self, and a sense of strength. I've never felt so at home with someone before."
She also had never had another girl around her age to talk to, and she was starting to gush a little. She stopped talking and blushed, hoping that the heat and steam from the water would hide her heigthened colour. She hadn't meant to go on so about the boy, but he was just so fabulous, she liked him so much!

Sakura smiled and hummed as she walked throu the door of the hot springs. Lately life had been so grand, she just needed to relax. She was wearing a black tanktop and a bikini bottoms. Her rippled stomac was barely covered, her lush hips, moved with the gentle sway of her body. She looked up and spotted Stella. Her smile beamed, she touched the braid at the center of her head. Her sides freshly shaven, she felt at peace.
" Hey Mistress Midnight, can i join you two for a hot soak."
Her smile incased the new girl to, she tossed her towel on a chair. She sat down on the edge of the water her legs covered in thier cherry blossom tattoo slid in to the water.

When she heard Jun-Bo’s name, Stella smiled,
“I’ve met Jun-Bo. Apart from at the garden I mean. We talked on the roof a few nights ago. I am glad he is helping you.”
Stella thought privately by Hawthorn’s tone that Jun meant a lot to her. She sighed. Her own feelings about Jun were very mixed up. She was after all the first boy she had really met, so maybe what she was feeling was just a natural reaction to all boys. It was all very confusing, and she was not sure she liked all the new emotions the school was bringing.
“Sakura!” Stella exclaimed when her friend entered. “How wonderful to see you here.” She looked over to Hawthorn, trying to see if she would be ok with a new person. “Have you met Hawthorn before?”

Hawthorne was startled by the newcomer's entrance, seeing as how this was someone she had never encountered before. She tried to stay relaxed though, silently wishing that either Jun, with his calming personality was here, or a certain other person . . . She shook the thought off. It wasn't deserving of her. That was before she had met the strong boy, and he would be ashamed if he knew.
"Aaniin, Sakura, be welcome. There is plenty of room for everyone at this spring."
She was kind of glad of the interruption in all honesty, for she was not one to regale an audience with tales of her private infatuations. Especially since she wasn't exactly close friends here . . .

Stella was glad Hawthorn hadn’t been frightened, and smiled warmly at the girl. She clearly was already much improved from her time with Jun already.
A strand of damp white hair had become stuck to her face. She tucked it behind her ear, and waved her hand in front of her face to fan away the steam that was blocking her vision.
“I was just mentioning Jun-Bo, Sakura. You know him too, do you not?”
Stella then remembered the context Sakura had mentioned Jun-Bo, and bit her lip. What would Sakura say about him? Stella sighed, and sank a little further into the water.
That starry-eyed smitten look crossed Hawthorne's face as Stella mentioned Jun-Bo. What an amazing guy, he was so wonderful. Wait? This new girl knew about him? Hawthorne tried not to sound too eager as she turned to Sakura.
"You know Jun-Bo? Can you tell me anything about him? He's so wonderful . . ."
She couldn't contain a little 'He's so dreamy' sigh from escaping her lips.

She smiled and slid into the water, her eyes lower to watch the ripples of the water. She hears the question and looks up her mind begins to whirl. A small twist of her pouty mouth, she settles int o the warm waters.
" Yeah I know Jun Bo.....actually he is my ex.... Why are you and him ...dating?"
She lets her soft voice become flippant, still easy. She kept her body relaxed she was going to see what these girls were up to but she smelled some fun.

Hawthorne's ears perked up when the girl said she was Jun-Bo's ex. She seemed to take the break-up rather lightly. Maybe they parted as friends. Personally, she couldn't imagine letting someone like that go, not if she really had him in the first place.
She looked at Sakura again, as if searching for the source of the girl's ease in dismissing such an event. For Hawthorne it would have been momentous. But there she was, casually inquiring about the state of Hawthorne's own relationship with the boy. Astounding. She shook her head.
"I wish we were dating. Right now, we're just friends. He said he would protect me, it was really sweet. I like him so much, but he doesn't really seem all that interested. He treats me more like a kid sister, mussing my hair and stuff. I just wish he felt about me the same way I feel about him. Maybe he likes someone else?"
She knew she was fishing for information, and that she really shouldn't, but she couldn't keep her curiosity in check. This was a topic she was intensely interested in, she wanted to learn everything about the boy that she could.

Stella smiled as Hawthorn spoke about Jun. She seemed to really like him, it was very sweet. Stella could read the interest on Hawthorn’s face when Sakura mentioned they used to go out. Stella was herself a little interested to hear what Sakura had to say.
When Hawthorn said Jun-Bo treated her as a little sister, she grinned.
“He’s adopted me as his kid sister,” she said, smiling. “So maybe you don’t have to worry about that?” she turned back to Sakura, and a memory came to her.
“When I first met you, you seemed a little angry at him,” she said to the girl, frowning slightly as she remembered.

(Here due to the common beleive that it would be assoume if he showed up in the middle of this and others wanting him to :P)
*He walked into the changing room and slowly peeled all the cloths he wore off his body and folded them in a nice small stack. He smiled as he looked down. He took his towel and wrapped it around his naked body. He moved over to the door and half opened it before he heard several females voices. He peeked out at the women and took a count of who was there. He did not care if most of them saw him naked, but his little sis was out there and he would rather not go out there naked in front of her.
He moved back over and his cloths and pulled out his boxers. He dropped the towel and pulled the boxers back on. Then he wrapped the towel around him and headed back to the door. He opened it and walked out heading towards the other side of the springs from the females. He did not meet eyes with them. He figured they were having fun and did not need him to bother them. If they wanted his opinnion they would ask him for it.
When he reached the other side of the springs he pulled the towel off and his silk black boxers were visable. His muscles flexed and streched as he him self streched. Once he was done he stepped into the water tell his shoulders disappeared and he then closed his eyes imangeing that he was alone. He smiled and let his muscles relax, he was very sore from his last training in the gravity chamber.*

Hawthorne was starting to settle in, hopefully to finally learn a few things about this enigmatic man she had spent so much time with recently, when he appeared, as if summoned by their talking about him. Speak of the Devil . . .
She couldn't help it, her eyes followed him as he walked to the other side of the springs, stoicly avoiding eye contact with them. Another little sigh escaped her lips as her own eyes hungrily took in his muscled torso. Her fingers twitched, and she quickly pulled them beneathe the water, before she betrayed herself by doing something silly like reaching towards him.
When he dropped his towel, revealing the black silk boxers, you could have knocked her over with a feather. Her eyes went incredibly wide and she couldn't tear her gaze away from him, until he had lowered himself completely into the water. An incredibly bright red blush started at the neckline of her swimsuit and shot up to her hairline. He was gorgeous!

This comment gave her a giggle he did the same to her, and it had driven her nuts. She gives it a shrug and then looks at Stella as she speaks.

She was about to open her mouth ans dpeak when she noticed the door opened. She gave a smirk at who walked in.
" Well speak of the devil. I will tell you some of the main parts of my experince with that man.. Lets start with that hair ruffling thing.....he used to do it to me...it does show his feelings but.....it messed up my hair so much..... I had to shave the sides off."
She giggles and then moves closer to the girls, they have a clear view of Jun.

Stella’s gaze followed the other two girls, and she saw Jun-Bo. She waved to her new brother, and considered asking him to join them but did not. Hawthorn had been her first, so she should be the one to decide if Jun joined them. Remembering Hawthorn, she glanced at the girl. She seemed to find the sight of Jun clad only in shorts captivating. Stella glanced at him again, thinking she had missed what Hawthorn found so fascinating but did not notice anything peculiar.
She laughed when Sakura mentioned the habit Jun-Bo had of ruffling hair.
“I noticed that too, but my hair always falls back into place so I don’t really mind.” she was a little uneasy about discussing Jun, especially with him so nearby. But she probably was over reacting. If the other two thought it was fine, then it should be, shouldn’t it?

*He had heard the past few things the women had said and he was not in the mood to argue so he let Sakura's lie to the girls about the whole hair thing pass with out contest. If she wanted to make her self out to be a victum that was her call. He knew the truth and he was fine with being the only one with the truth. He had a feeling that this day was going to be a long one and that by the end he was going to be about ready to strangle the lass of lies.
He lowered his mouth into the water to hide the grin that came to face when he thought up that title for her. It was a pretty suiting title for the lass that seemed to always bring drama to the table and who seemed to say anything she could just as long as if keep her in the spot light of everyones attention. The one that did not mind hurting the ones close to her as long as she got her way.
He shook his head and came back up tell his shoulders were just out of the water. He had to get those thoughts out of his head. He should not be bad mouthing someone even if it was to him self alone. He leaned back againest the wall of the spring and looked up to the steam. If he did not meet their eyes, maybe they would not meet him. Maybe he could relax and ignore the words of the people around him.
If the girls could sense chi like he could they would be able to tell he was not happy about the comment Sakura made and how she was lieing, but it was not his place at this time to speak up, at least not in his mood.*

Hawthorne's eyebrows drew down low in her forehead, as she ripped her focus away from Jun-Bo to listen to Sakura. It was hard to manage, but she did it. She felt a nip of jealousy at the thought that she wasn't the only one he was being affectionate with, but she eased it away. She actually laughed when Sakura said she had to shave the sides of her hair off.
"He messed up my hair pretty bad. He took me out to buy a brush because of it. I've never owned a brush in my whole life until now. You're lucky that your hair just returns to place Stella."
Hawthorne was uncomfortable though. The girl Sakura was being pretty mean, and Jun-Bo was right there! What if she hurt his feelings? would Hawthorne be partly responsible for participating in the discussion? That would be horrible!
"Still, if that's how he shows affection, don't you just accept that? At least he isn't distant, or violent."
Her eyes clouded over, and she thought back to - NO! She would not think about that, not here. She was trying to make friends, and she didn't want to be the depressing element in the party. She took a deep breath and shook her head, clearing it. There, now she could refocus on what was being said.
