To Be a Warrior info CHARACTER DESCRIPTION Name: Furora Prelidatora Species/Race: winged doberman Appearance: canine build with the classic dobe stubby tail, doberman coloration - sleek black mane from just behind ears to base of neck as well as slick, black feathered wings. Dull green eyes - only about the size of an antelope. Important Bits: No weapons or anything particularly special other than her superb sense of hearing. Talents/Skills: flying. Personality: I'll just give you a basic skeleton - Furora is a typical dog personality wise. She loves attention and to be part of a 'pack - although she is slightly distrusting, once you become a part of her 'pack' she will defend you until she is no longer able to. Extremely loyal and equally as sardonic. (Hey, a life alone will do that to you.) Background: history is in the first post. Nothing elaborate. Pictures: N/A -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- SETTING DESCRIPTION Name: Coryn (nondenominated) Locale: N/A Open/Mod: open Physical Description: Think African plains with a jungle twist. ^_~ basically a big open area of wild long grass with clumps of tropical trees and greens spattered about. Rock formations are also abundant here. (Limestone, mainly) Important NPCs: N/A Other Info: N/A -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- WORLD DESCRIPTION Name: Coryn Open/Mod: open Overview: As I said before, many open areas for the grazers but also plenty of tree concentrations - rock formations scattered about. Important Geography: The rock formations here are the most prominent thing about this world. They are the tallest, most apparent part of this land. Dominant Cultures: No real ruler. Back to the whole 'the strong will survive' bit. Magic?: Indeed, much magic. Other: There are seven portals scattered throughout this world. (One of which Furora has stumbled upon in her first post.) Each of these portals lead to a different parallel dimension and has its own secret hiding spot. (Yes, I am personifying inanimate portals! XD) These portals only open ever third night, and usually have some method of luring as many creatures as possible into it. (For example, Furora's portal used a glowing light. Other examples could be sounds, visions, or perhaps even blatant demands on the creature to enter.) These portals can be hidden anywhere: the sky, the mainland, a lake, or underground. (tricky little things ^_~) Few animals know about these portals, usually once a creature is lured it - it doesn't wish to return. That's about it for the creepy, randomly appearing portals. These waters are my skies. Re: may I join? I don't think there would be a rpoblem for one thread. As long as you leave plenty of space for the others to react, everything should work out fine.  My posts are realitvely short, considering I'm usualy a post whore. hehe. This is to allow for the others to react / talk / etc...I usually try to wait until ( in this case both ) parties invovled post at least a littel something.

Re: may I join? It's an open thread, hop on in. There isn't a direction (at least, not one of which *I* am aware!) for this thread, so you can hardly muddle things up. As far as I'm concerned, my stake in it is just to introduce Charcoal around here, get him known before I take into any more serious threads, introduce him to some other characters. And that's my two cents.
