To those staying.
A tremendous opportunity has come upon us to reshape this server. A good number of the old guard are leaving. There will be more opportunities for new folk to go to Trak, Venril and the other large encounters. I am glad that I will not have to turn away as many people as I have in the past. I am glad I will get a chance to meet new folks and forge new friendships in the future.
Some enemies are leaving and some friends are leaving. It's unrealistic to have expected all the good folks to stay and all the ones you've had problems with to leave. It is with a heavy heart that we move on with the hope that the futre is even brighter than the past.
Tunare is a special server. To the best of my knowledge no other server operates the way we do. No other server has an environment where so many different people with so many different backgrounds can join together and accomplish what we do.
When the server splits, I will wipe the slate clean of old rivalries and disputes. This will hopefully be a fresh start for tunare as well as drinal.
I purposely avoided logging in tonight to resist the temptation of trying to 'recruit' folks to stay even though i knew there would be some 'recruiting' folks to leave. I wanted all the folks staying to really want to stay. this is a great new opportunity that i hope we take advantage of.

Nicely put, Fumin. I've been really upset by people leaving lately, not just to the new server but also from the game entirely. It has me really down.
I want to think that we will now have the people who have done Trak or VS quite a bit as well as new people who have been waiting for their chance. I'm very happy, because it's going to be the second and third generations doing Trak now, the people I grew up with.
There is so much negativity on these boards. Can we please just turn that around and have a good time for once?

Thanks for splitting up a wonderful server with your BS agenda.
BTW: I know this post will piss off some of my friends, and I am sorry to you guys, but this is the truth and I'm sorry you don't see that, and are staying.
I really hope the rest of the guilds join up to get a chance at trak and eventually get to Veeshan's. Otherwise, you'll have to wait for sloppy seconds, and one day you'll be wishing that you had left for the new server.
And to the people that hate me, hated me, and hate me after this.. /shrug

Good luck on the new server Vfelia. I'm not going to get involved w/ a bitter person's parting shots.
Despite losing a lot of good people, I think the split will make Tunare a better place. We all need to work towards making that a reality in the future. I hope all the people that choose to see it the way that Vfelia does are leaving in the split. I hope that folks that see it in the spirit that it was written are staying. Only time will tell.

Yes, the uber guilds, and especially Fumin, are sooooo oppressive that they haven't done Trakanon in.....TWO WEEKS at least. Has anybody else jumped up and taken the opportunity? No. Know why? Because Fumin and Uriah and others put in the time, pp, and deaths it took to figure out how to do it.
I always took the same core group of people on my Hate and Fear raids...for SEVEN MONTHS. I didn't get nastiness like this directed at me. And I did it because they knew what they were doing, and I could depend on them.
And that is why Uriah and Fumin take the same core group of people (about 30 people), and bring in new people all the time. Simply put, without that core group, you aren't dropping Trak.
You just have no idea. Talk to someone from Mith Marr and find out what it's really like to be oppressed.

Just going to say a few more things then i'm done.. this isn't my battle anymore - BUT I did want to let people know why I was moving.
1. Fumin - calling me small minded is fine. Just wanted to let you know how I felt about you. I knew you wouldn't really care. It's just a game anyways, right?
2. Alendora - On those hate and fear raids, was it the same core people getting ALL the drops? Didn't think so. You did it fairly with who participated. And if those core people weren't in your guild, would some of them still get drops. I bet they would.
So, now I'm off to drinal, and I wish you all good luck in whatever you do. Just be kinder to each other.

Hmm, I think it's a fairly acurate translation.
Im just gonna say a few things while I can, because what do I care anymore:
1) Tunare has a uber-guild, it is split into 3-factions(talisman, krieger, and parthanon). If you don't see that you are ignorant(I did not say stupid). Atleast on MM, you know who your enemies are. Tunare gives you this impression that its different. Wrong answer. You will use people from various guilds outside of the 3 I listed to continue to move you and your friends to the top. People have said they were sorry to see me go. I feel sorry for those that stay.
2) Fumin, I find you to be a backstabbing 2 faced twit. You have been ever so pleasant to my face, all the while you tell those close to me how you really feel. Get a clue moron. You can have your server. I feel bad for those that fill in the spots of those you are currently abusing.
3) The reason trakanon was not done in the last couple of weeks is because 80% of the server was either doing epic quests, or helping someone else with theirs. Furthermore, Im very sure that you would see underhanded comments in guildsay like this /gui Dont goto this raid, it will probalby fail. yadda yadda. Ill tell you another reason, because the people who find themselves abused were not united, and unsure of who each other were. We know now, and Trakanon will be taken out on the new server.
4) Tunare has one chance IMO, his name is Uriah. I think he's more fair then you could ever dream Fumin. I hope he can slap a lid on your ways, but probably not. You already think you are God. Look at the posts you have made the last few days, you might as well address your posts as such. Yes, you have a lot of power, and you might be a God in your own eyes, but not on Drinal. Im gonna set up a new system there, one I think is fair and just for all, not all those with the same guildtag or on my friends list.
Now, its you or your friends turn to retort back about how wrong I am, or how simple-minded I am, or how I don't see the big picture. Save yourself the posting effort. This post is a disclaimer for all those that choose to stay on Tunare. You had your chance and I feel sorry. Some of you stayed with the hopes of changing Tunare, your home. I wish you more luck then you will ever know.
As it stands now, every single tooth has gone to one of 4 guilds. You think things will be better different why? You people that help him out are gonna be resorting to whatever scraps they don't want/need.

You wont find many agreeing with you outside of your guild(s). Wonder why? I personally would have been disgusted to have to hear how my friends get screwed 6 months down the line. But whatever, you have always been an ass too Shannow. Im glad I can freely say that. I truly hope I get to see you in the Botb tourney. If you were half the wiz your ego let you think you were....
